Politically Correct Enemies of God

Some of us dare to share facts, the plain truth of the Bible and history, exposing the politically correct emperor has no clothes. Why should that disturb you?

Once you let go of politically correct delusions, you can learn to think like God and be blessed. Then you'll also hate evil and love that which is good (going by God's standards), however difficult and unpopular it can be, just like the Bible instructs us to do.

James 4:4
Ye adulterers and adulteresses [those engaged in the politically correct orgy], know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the [politically correct] world is the enemy of God.

Isaiah 55:7-9
7 Let the wicked forsake his way,
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
Let him return to the LORD,
And He will have mercy on him;
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon.
8 "For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways," says the LORD.
9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.

Korach in the Book of Numbers

"Vayikach Korach - And Korach took..."
(Numbers 16:1)
Sivan 23, 5768/June 26, 2008

Thus begins the story of Korach, the man who would be king. The two opening words in Hebrew, "Vayikach Korach," really tell us all we need to know about Korach. He took. Even before the verse can finish conveying just what Korach took, it is clear that Korach takes what he wants, when he wants, and for his own nefarious purposes. As it turns out the verse in this instance is referring to 250 men that Korach took. How did he take these men? He took them by their hearts, feeding the sweet but deceitful lines about holiness and equality. Why should Moses and Aaron lead, he asked, when we are all equally holy? It remains a persuasive argument to this very day. If we are all equal, and all holy, and each of us can approach G-d in his own way, than why can't we pick and choose, and cut and paste to suit our own needs, the way we serve G-d? Or to use more current terminology, the way we define good and bad, the way in which we perceive and define justice.
We are taught by our sages that Korach was a talmid chacham - a Torah scholar, but his great knowledge of Torah could not prove a fence against his aggrandized sense of self and entitlement. Not being able to find in Torah a reason why he, and not Moses, should lead the people, and why he, and not Aaron, should be the High Priest, he jettisoned the Torah, deciding to go it alone, in order to attain what he felt was his.
We are taught in Ethics of the Fathers (5:13) the following: "He who says, "What is mine is yours, and what is yours, is yours," is a pious person. But one who says, "What is yours is mine, and what is mine is mine", is wicked." When Moses first hears Korach's contention that he, Moses, has amassed too much power for himself, "he [Moses] fell upon his face." (Numbers 16:4) In response to the charge that he has greedily taken for himself that which belongs to others, he shows total self-abnegation - literally falling on his face. Moses has only what G-d has given him, and desires nothing more. He is the pious man: "What is mine is yours, and what is yours, is yours: what's mine belongs to You G-d, and what You have delegated to others is also Yours."
Korach inverts this formula, saying: "What is yours is mine, and what is mine is mine: what you G-d have given to Moses belongs to me. I desire and therefore deserve it. Surely it stands to reason that if what belongs to me is mine, than also what You have granted to others also belongs to me." In effect, the will of Korach trumps the will of G-d, rendering G-d's will, well... irrelevant. Once Korach has reached this place in his logic there is no G-d, there is no Torah, there is no creation. The clever trap Korach set for Moses has caught himself instead. Korach has painted himself into an existential corner. He is alone.
The beautiful and tragic irony of Korach is that once he has made it indisputably clear to G-d that His creation can't contain the ambition of Korach, G-d "accepts" his position, as it were, and creates, yes, creates, specially and solely for Korach and his following, a place in this universe where they can truly be alone, unencumbered by G-d, and man, and Torah: "The earth opened its mouth, and swallowed them and their houses, along with all the men who were with Korach and their property." (Numbers 16:32)
Of course Moses was unique. But his model for selfless leadership for the true good of the people of Israel should enlighten our eyes even today. Far too often modern day Korachs usurp the role reserved for the righteous, and lead the nation not to the tent of meeting to take council with G-d, but to the pit of their iniquity, a place of regret and recrimination. Tune in to this week's Temple Talk as Rabbi Chaim Richman and Yitzchak Reuven examine in depth the tragic demise of Korach.

"Not big enough for the both of us!" When a man, even a great man, remains humble and small in his own eyes, he will acknowledge that there is room in creation for both G-d, and Torah and himself. But when a man, even a wise and learned man, such as Korach, becomes great in his own eyes, he eliminates G-d and Torah from his world, leaving G-d little choice but to put him in his place. How Adam and Eve Reflect the Kingdom of God

How Adam and Eve Reflect the Kingdom of God
By David Ben-Ariel

"Let us make man in our image." Such a Scripture does not support the trinity, but it does support the plain truth that the Word was God and the Word was with God, two Beings with the one sacred name of God/Elohim (John 1:1-2).

"In the Beginning was the WORD (Logos/Spokesman/Revelatory Thought), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God." This clearly reveals TWO Beings who shared the ONE family name of GOD (Ephes. 3:15). God created all things through Yeshua/Jesus who was the Word (Ephes. 3:9).

When the Word became flesh He was "God with us" and thereby became the "Son" and the One who remained in Heaven thereby became the "Father." They had coexisted eternally in a SHARED GLORY (John 8:42, 7:5, 8, 16:27-28). We can either accept or reject Yeshua's revelation of the UNKNOWN FATHER FIGURE whom mankind has never heard or seen. The Word who became Yeshua is the Divine Being who dealt with ancient Israel. They didn't know the Father and most still don't today, and they can't unless the Son reveals Him (John 5:37, 6:44,46, 8:54-55).

And we can either accept or reject Yeshua's explanation/interpretation of what "one" means: unity/united. He said the Father was in Him and He was in the Father (through the Holy Spirit and unity of mind and purpose) and He prayed for the Church of God to express and exhibit that exact same unity and oneness by the Holy Spirit (John 14:11, 15:4, 17:11, 21, 23). Please check out these Scripture references and see that it is so. One Holy Spirit of UNITY AND DIVINE PURPOSE (I Cor. 12:12-20).

The Scripture says "Let us make man in our image," and it says "ELOHIM (not YHVH) made man in His image." It's saying the Word and God made man "in OUR image" and, that as ONE GOD FAMILY UNIT/KINGDOM, the united God made man in HIS image. It elaborates, for our sakes, by also saying Elohim created MAN in His image..."MALE and FEMALE created He THEM" (Gen. 1:27).

So there's a reverse of the singular and the plural, man/them and our/His. This "mystery" is further revealed when it's written in Gen. 5:1-2: "In the day that Elohim (Gods) created man, in the likeness of God made He HIM; male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name ADAM." The ONE ADAM FAMILY then had a son, Seth, in "his (Adam's) own likeness, after his image" (Gen. 5:3).

Does this exclude Eve? Wasn't Seth also in her human likeness and image? Yes. For conclusive proof that God PURPOSELY inserted all this into the Genesis account to REVEAL to us later about the ONE GOD FAMILY/KINGDOM, the apostle Paul preaches: "For we [Christians] are members of his [Yeshua's] Body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife, and they TWO shall be ONE FLESH. This is a GREAT MYSTERY: but I speak concerning Christ and the Church" (Ephes. 5:30-32).

That's how the ONE GOD FAMILY (Elohim with the Father Supreme and the Son gladly subject to His authority - 1 Cor. 15:28) can be and is presently composed of two God-Beings, and is in the conversion process of "bringing MANY SONS TO GLORY" (Heb. 2:10) since Christ was the "FIRSTBORN OF MANY BRETHREN" (Rom. 8:29). Jesus was the PROTOTYPE of a new genus: the Kingdom of God!

It's illustrated that even as MANKIND has shared in Adam's earthy image, we're soon to share in the HEAVENLY image of the Second Adam when we're born again of the Holy Spirit (John 3:3,6 4:24), with righteous character and composition! Mankind after the Godkind! And all through the ONE SPIRIT of God that unites us.

"Christ in you, the hope of glory" (Colossians 1:27), "who shall change our vile body that it may be FASHIONED/CREATED like unto His GLORIOUS BODY" (Philip. 3:21), "for we know that when He shall appear, WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM" (1 John 3:2) - we are not going to be dogs or cats, or even angels, we are to be heavenly beings, HOLY SPIRIT-COMPOSED, born again GOD-BEINGS in the one divine family unit/Elohim!

We are presently members of MANkind, huMAN, in the ADAMic Family unit (Gen. 5:2), but God promises we'll soon be changed in the twinkling of an eye, miraculously transformed, and join the HEAVENLY SPIRIT/GOD FAMILY.

We've clearly seen how "two" can be "one" whether in the God Family or in the Adam family. It's right there in the Bible if we'll just believe what we see and read. It's the plain truth of the Bible for those willing to believe what God has revealed.

Those who reject the testimony of the Scriptures (to hang on to vain traditions of men, whether trinity or oneness) are unable to explain what we're to become. Why have we received the down payment/earnest of the Spirit? (Ephes. 1:13-14). What conversion process are we in? (2 Cor.3:18). What are we being converted to if not into the character and composition of the Holy Spirit?

God is spirit. We must be born again of the SPIRIT. Yeshua is the FIRSTBORN of many brethren (Rom. 8:29). We're presently partakers of the DIVINE nature (2 Pet. 1:4). God is our Father, Yeshua is our elder Brother - a family relationship. We're in Adam's human/earthy image now; we're to be in the Second Adam's spiritual/heavenly/divine image soon.

God is reproducing Himself! That's what the conversion process is all about: God became man so man could become God. Mankind was created after the Godkind so after a life of conversion and purification, we can be resurrected to GLORY and share the glory of the Father and Son as born again sons of God (Elohim).

Again, what are we to become? How can you strive to enter the Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of Gods (Elohim), leaving the human kingdom behind, if you refuse to accept the awesome potential God (Elohim) offers? Take receiving the Holy Spirit and being born again of the Holy Spirit to its logical/biblical end/fulfillment.

When we're glorified God-Beings, worshipping our Supreme Father God in His Kingdom (1 Cor. 15:28), just like Yeshua will submit to the Father as all in all, we'll be immortal Priest-Kings (Rev. 5:10, 20:6), and God will be the "God of Gods" (Ps. 97:7, 136:2). Christ is the King of Kings (we're those kings), and the Lord of Lords (we're those lords), and the Father is God of Gods (we're those Gods/Elohim - Micah 4:5).

We either accept Yeshua's revelation of the UNKNOWN FATHER and His eternal coexistence with Him, and His work as Creator, as the Word, under the supervision of the Father, or we must reject the New Testament.

The Jews know Yeshua's claims and don't water them down to fit their religion. They reject His revelation for now, like most of traditional Christianity, but both Houses of Israel (Anglo-Saxon-Celtics, Western Europeans and Jews as taught by Brit-Am Israel) will get over this stumbling block and soon embrace our transcendent calling to become literal members of the Heavenly Family of Gods (Elohim), higher than the animals and angels - divine (Heb. 2:9-10).

We don't call God the Father for nothing, or do we? We're to be the literal children of God, the Children of the Resurrection (Luke 20:36). What glorious GOOD NEWS!

Beyond Babylon

Beyond Babylon: Europe's Rise and Fall

Mr. Ben-Ariel clearly has a God-given love for the Jews and the nation of Israel. His Israeli lawyer has stated that David's "future is linked with that of the Jews," and Gershon Salomon, chairman of the Temple Mount Faithful says, "God has some special task" for him. His sacred bond with the land and people of Israel has been strengthened over the years by his service as a volunteer on eight kibbutzim (collective farms) throughout the Holy Land, including during Operation Desert Storm. As a firm believer in the Israelite roots and responsibilities of the Anglo-Saxons and Northwestern European peoples, David works towards the ultimate reconciliation and restoration of Joseph with Judah. As a student of biblical prophecy, he is alarmed about Germany and the Vatican's increasing control of the European continent, remodeling it after the Holy Roman Empire. As the outspoken author of Beyond Babylon: Europe's Rise and Fall, he is determined to do all he can to help wake up the world to the clear and present danger Germany poses to world peace, with a special emphasis on the Middle East.

Traces of the Trade

Self-indulgent Traces of the Trade

What an orgy of shame! I endured Traces of the Trade (PBS or is it PCS?) and discovered nothing new in it except for perhaps the disgusting depths that self-hating, bleeding heart white liberals, will descend to and self-righteously insist on dragging everybody else along with them.

What a twisted trip for white masochists, groveling before blacks who questioned and mocked them, who refused to shake their hand and who said they felt angry. White people ought to be angry at blacks always playing the victim and never taking responsibility for themselves - whether in the US or Africa.

Reparations are not the solution, especially if we subtract what blacks have cost America. Why should those who were never slave owners pay those who were never slaves? REPATRIATION is the solution. And looking at African blacks versus American blacks, some could conclude that for many the sacrifice of slavery is the best thing that ever happened. You certainly don't see blacks clamoring to return to Africa with any sense of proper pride, even though many claim to be "Afro-centric." Yet they'll stay and complain and try to shake down guilty whites instead of recognizing or admitting the common sense of Abraham Lincoln that still rings true today: the solution is racial separation.

"I will say, then, that I AM NOT NOR HAVE EVER BEEN in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the black and white races---that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of making voters or jurors of Negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with White people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the White and black races which will ever FORBID the two races living together on terms of social and political equality. And inasmuch as they cannot so live, while they do remain together, there must be the position of superior and inferior, and I, as much as any other man, am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the White race."

Children Are Their Oppressors

Children Are Their Oppressors

Isaiah 3

12 As for My people, children are their oppressors,
And women rule over them.
O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err,
And destroy the way of your paths.

The following, slightly edited, information comes from inside South Africa by an apolitical Sabbath-keeping Church of God member.

Shamefully, we rarely hear such an honest appraisal of South Africa's deteriorating situation in the United States. If we did, perhaps the stark reality check of the much vaunted "New South Africa" would dim the luster of Obama's lies about "change" (as if his Black Liberation Theology would bring about a change for the better when logic and history testify otherwise):

I am back from ....[his place of work], but there was a possibility that I might have been stuck there for the week-end, as [his car] had some problems - the alternator gave problems and had to be fixed - lucky for me the car has never broken down on the open road. I was very worried there would not be any parts ... [available], and that I would be stuck there for the week-end or longer. BUT everything worked out.

[There is] loud horrible music down there at the [nearby] petrol station this time of the morning, which has woken me and I am finding it impossible to sleep as a result - I HATE that type of [black African] music. I feel so helpless nowadays in this country - everything is out of control.

Have reached the conclusion that the Peoples of Africa are the Children of the World, and without the rest of the world to "parent" them, they would all starve to death.

(Please note that I am referring to the masses - obviously there are some (few) exceptions, but they are too few to make a difference amongst the masses, as is evident by the abysmal state Africa is in). I am not referring to North Africa bordering the Mediterranean Sea.

The Peoples of Africa as Children are:

- unruly;
- undisciplined;
- need constant supervision;
- moody and follow their instincts;
- can't play nicely without fighting;
- break their toys;
- everything is a game; (or should I say "soccer, soccer, soccer")
- can't plan ahead - live in "the now";
- given to whining and complaining;
- are "give me - give me" oriented;
- don't accept responsibility for anything;
- are like teenagers; (if you dare to reprimand them for acting like children,they jump into "adult mode" and demand to be treated as adults, and "guilt-trip" the "Parents", who fall for this time and time again) (then again, God says Ephraim will be "like a silly dove")
- are beggars and want handouts from grown-ups, because like children they expect their parents to pay for everything, because parents "owe them";
- they have no pride in a job well done;
- have no concept of cause and effect; (Westerners think SA Black Africans would understand if they carry on killing the white farmers, when sooner or later they will run out of food - but as children they are incapable of putting this cause and effect together, like is happening in the Mugabeland of Zimbabwe)
- etc,etc,etc

Do you know that there is not one factory in Africa that was designed and built exclusively by blacks - they simply cannot do it without "outside Africa" (Parents) assistance.

The Black South-Africans have inherited from the Whites an incredible 1st world infrastructure, but in 14 years they have not maintained it, so that now everything is starting to fall apart. They have ruined:

- the health system,
- the road system;
- the railway system;
- the education system;
- the policing system;
- the army (place with the most deaths from Aids);
- the electricity system;
- the judicial system;
- the prison system;
etc,etc,etc and this all in 14 years.

The main crime is rape. If it moves and is female, they want to rape it. When they break in to steal, then they automatically rape the women. They are barbarian-children, and it's all a game.

There is also a culture of "blame someone else" - nothing is their fault - it's all still the Whites fault, even 12 years later. (obviously there are some exceptions, but the exception does not make the rule)

By the way, your next President Obama is not a Black Man, he is what we call a Coloured, and they are sooo much better than the Black Man, more like the Whites. When he is President, Africa of course will be so glad because then they can go begging for more Foreign Aid for which they will receive much to play with from Obama.

America's main export product (Democracy) works only in name in Africa. (like in Russia also)...

You need a large, educated middle class for democracy to really work, which Africa does not have. "Children" cannot reason about who will govern their country the best - so they vote along ethnic grounds making their X next to their tribal leader's name, or as instructed by the chief. BUT America is perfectly happy when the African Country "embraces" democracy, and then America self-righteously leaves and chaos inevitably ensues as the "Children" start to play in that country.

The Chinese, of course, don't care two hoots about all of this and will keep a "democratic" African Dictator in power so long as they can rape that country of it's mineral wealth. (case in point: Robert Mugabe, who at this very moment is killing off all his opposition, and America does nothing!!)

Yes, the white man will have to support the African Continent until the Kingdom comes, because the poor "Children of Africa" will never ever be able to support themselves. BUT what they can do effectively, is multiply like flies, making more and more children which they cannot provide for - no problem- with no cause and effect. Someone (a European/American Parent) will look after them!

The only thing that is keeping Africa going is the enormous mineral wealth which the West and East need - but because the African is incapable of manufacturing anything themselves, they have to export the raw materials and minerals to the West and East. (NOT that they are capable of mining these minerals - NO - the West and East have to come and extract it from the ground for them).

Then the SA government allows millions of them to flood into South Africa and take the SA Black's jobs, and then they wonder why the SA Blacks react. Of course, they could also react against the whites someday - those who are left. Then again, with 40% joblessness?????????????

There is hardly 1 Church of God family here in SA which has not been broken to pieces by 2 things:

broken families as the families has split into the various Churches of God (1 family for example has the family members scattered amongst the UCG, the LCG and WCG);

children fleeing the "Children of South-Africa", as the SA Blacks apply Affirmative Action and all jobs go to the Blacks irrespective of their total inability to do the jobs, and competent white males are legally rejected (YES, the AA law has the words "fair discrimination" built into it). So many church parents have some of their children and grand-children living now in Canada, USA, England, Nieu-Zealand and Australia.

BUT I predict that the time of America's, Britain's, etc (Israel's troubles) are nearly upon us, so things will start to become more difficult worldwide for all the Israelitish Nations, and will become as bad as here - we are only the fore-runners, because we in SA were sold out to the "Children of South-Africa" by our so-called brothers, America and Britain.

Irony: This time round Joseph has sold out his brothers.

Well done, Americans & British: - this information shows the results you have obtained by appointing "children will rule over you". (rule over your brothers in SA).

It has done me good to get all of this off my chest. (and of course this tirade is not against the Saints, as we have nothing to do with the politics of this world)

Thanks for listening...

Notes of importance:

The vast majority of the Sabbath-keeping Church of God members are strictly apolitical (to a fault IMO), following the teachings of Herbert W. Armstrong that I strongly disagree with on this issue; The last part, about the Saints having nothing to do with the politics of this world, is an indictment before both God and man - not absolving the Church of God of any sin, since all that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing (and shamefully that's what the Church of God has done politically)

2) The Sabbath-keeping Church of God recognizes the Israelite origins of the West, our Hebrew roots.

Flowing with Milk and Honey

"'We came to the land where you sent us, and it is indeed flowing with milk and honey...'"
(Numbers 13:27)
Sivan 15, 5768/June 18, 2008

Moses hand-picked twelve of the finest men amongst the children of Israel, each one a man of stature and integrity, representing each of the twelve tribes that together comprised the Israelite nation. He sent them into the land of Canaan, a vanguard to spy out the land and take note of its features, and then to return and rally the people, preparing them for their imminent entry into the promised land. No doubt he was pleased when they opened their address to the gathered crowd, and uttered the words quoted above: "'We came to the land where you sent us, and it is indeed flowing with milk and honey...'" (Numbers 13:27) Moses, however, was soon to discover that these words of praise were to be brandished as a double edged sword.
Holding up the bounty of the land for all to witness, they went on to describe the inhabitants of the land, and in their description was an unmistakable undertone of despair. Caleb, himself one of the twelve, immediately sensed the danger and rejoined: "'We must go forth and occupy the land,'" he said. 'We can do it!'" (Ibid 13:30), but the die was cast. Confusion and despondency overtook the Israelites. In an instant their spirit was broken, and already rumblings were being heard, calls to return to Egypt, to slavery.
What was it that so distressed them? Was it really the description of the inhabitants of Canaan as being giants and the cities fortified? Had not the Israelites just seen the entire army of Pharaoh, the greatest army on earth, drowned to a man in the Sea of Reeds? Had G-d not delivered them from a nation far more numerous, far more powerful, and one bitterly determined to wrest them from His embrace? What threat could these insignificant Canaanite nations possibly possess?
No, it wasn't the giants or their fortified cities that struck terror into the hearts of the spies. After all, how strong can a city be, if its inhabitants feel compelled to surround it with walled ramparts? It is they who should be frightened by the obvious strength and confidence evinced by the sprawling array of the nation of twelve battle-ready encampments, the sanctuary of the L-rd established within their midst.
What frightened (ten of) the twelve was the land itself, a land so powerful that even its bounty was of supernatural proportions, a land "indeed flowing with milk and honey." (Ibid) How could this nation, betrothed to the L-rd by the Covenant of Sinai, nurtured by the manna - heavenly sustenance from G-d's own table, as it were, how could they possible resist the overwhelming seduction of the hills and valleys, and fields and rivers that awaited them? Would it not be wiser to remain in the desert, far from temptations of a plentiful land? Wouldn't it be safer to continue to tread the blazing desert sands than to plow the fecund pastures? Couldn't they better serve G-d in the remote wilderness than in a land flowing not only with "milk and honey" but also with the blood and sweat and tears of earning one's daily bread?
No doubt G-d could forgive them their trepidation. But their rejection of the land, of the real world, in favor of a beautiful but not sustainable retreat in the desert, and their utter loss of nerve sealed their fate. From the very first Covenant Between the Pieces forged between G-d and Avraham, His promises to His people have been fraught with challenges and opportunities, not with certainties and complacencies. The Promised Land is no exception. The challenge of entering into the very physicality of the land while clinging all the while to the spiritual inheritance bequeathed to us at Sinai can indeed be daunting. It is this which is the very challenge - the promise - of the land.

Tune in to this week's Temple Talk as Rabbi Chaim Richman and Yitzchak Reuven discuss the debacle of the spies and the far reaching ramifications of their misplaced loyalty to their desert existence.

A reminder: This week's Temple Talk, as well as the two upcoming Temple Talk broadcasts will each be one hour in length. Rabbi Richman is currently engaged in a speaking tour of the USA. For the duration of his visit Temple Talk will be served up in one-hour prerecorded segments.

Re: Malcolm Hoenlein and Howard Rieger Fail the Jewish People Again [Post 296298420, reply to 296293090]

Yes, those Jews who remain in their self-imposed exile are proving how self-absorbed they are, swallowed up in the darkness of assimilation, due to die in their sins unless they selflessly make the move and follow Judaism to the Jewish Homeland of Israel where they belong. Perhaps somebody or something will put a fire under their butts to help get them going and save Jews from self-destruction. God knows.

Of Baptists and Mormons

Of Baptists and Mormons

Recently, while sitting on our front porch to take a break from the computer, I noticed some young people going door to door. There were two fellows and two girls, all nicely dressed and appearing like a fish out of water on this East Side of Toledo.

The two young ladies approached me, and the guys continued to next door. The one started by asking if I attended any church and said they were with some Baptist church in town. I said I no longer attended church services in Toledo, but if I did it would be on the same day as Jesus Christ worshiped - the seventh day Sabbath.

I mentioned how Protestants are still bowing down to Rome, to the pagan popes and Constantine, and not following Jesus' example. She asked if she could at least leave me a Bible tract she had in hand. When I saw it talked about going to Heaven, I asked them why they were spreading such religious lies - that the Bible never offers Heaven as the reward of the saved, but that Jesus clearly stated "the meek shall inherit the Earth."

I said everybody has at least heard that Scripture, and they agreed. I said the Bible says no such thing about going to Heaven. The other girl piped up and said it did. I asked her if she would please show me then. She sort of stomped next to me and turned to a Scripture where it states we've all fallen short of the glory of God and are sinners, and I said, "Yes, that's true, but
nowhere does it say anything about going to Heaven." She then turned to another Scripture that also mentions our sinful state and I again said, "Yes, but that says nothing about going to Heaven." She appeared flustered and spouted, "But they show us how to get to Heaven." And I disagreed.

I asked them to ask their minister why they're telling people they go to Heaven when Jesus taught "the meek shall inherit the Earth." I encouraged them to learn what the Bible really teaches. They practically ran off the porch, and the fellows next door - nobody answered there - who had been listening, said, "You have a nice day!" I said, "I'm not your enemy. Don't be afraid of the truth - let it set you free. Tell your minister Jesus Christ said "the meek shall inherit the Earth."

They reminded of those old dolls or toys where you pull the string and they have several recorded messages, like - "I love you!" When I broke their spell, they were at a loss and confused, the truth didn't compute with their traditional way of thinking. I hope they can learn the truth about being born again and Heaven and Hell. I've prayed for them, since I deeply appreciate how God started teaching me truths when I was a teenager.

Then a week or so later, several Mormon fellows stopped just as I was getting ready to go on a bike ride. They were also dressed nicely, with their white shirts and ties and dress pants. One "elder" was from the state of Washington and the other "elder" (both were much younger than me) was from Arizona. I asked if folks in their states didn't need to hear what they had to say. They basically said they had plenty of Mormons out there.

I mentioned how I agreed we're the so-called "Lost Ten Tribes of Israel," but that since they supposedly know that, it's all the more reason they shouldn't be keeping pagan holidays pretending to be Christian and Sunday instead of the seventh day Sabbath and biblical festivals that Jesus Christ and the Church of God kept and keep (which portray God's plan of salvation for all mankind). I reminded them the Church of God was founded on the holy day of Shavuot - Pentecost - in Jerusalem, and that Jesus commanded His followers to commemorate His death every Passover and Paul instructed the Gentiles how to properly keep it and to celebrate the Days of Unleavened Bread in spirit and in truth. The one said he wanted to do more study on the tribes, and wanted to look into why they don't keep Passover.

They were actually enjoyable to talk with, and I heard some things they had to say and then questioned them about it. I didn't do all the talking - just most of it. They wrote down my website's address -
www.DavidBenAriel.org - to look up my book, Beyond Babylon: Europe's Rise and Fall and for more information on Passover and the Twelve Tribes of Israel and about the dietary laws and many other topics we touched upon.

I ran into them in the parking lot of Wal-Mart in Oregon (just East of Toledo) en route to my car, just when I was telling my friend about my experience with them! I hollered over to them, getting in their car, waving, to make sure they looked up my website. Then I saw them again driving through a nearby neighborhood and waved. A Sabbath-keeping Church of God brother who lives in Sweden thought I should read the Book of Mormon to see what I think for myself. So I went to the Oregon library and checked it out and decided to donate a copy of Beyond Babylon to it...

The Mormon Book of the Dead

The Mormon Book of the Dead

Briefly, here's my review of the Book of Mormon:

"We invite all men everywhere to read the Book of Mormon, to ponder in their hearts the message it contains, and then to ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ if the book is true."
-From Introduction to the Book of Mormon

The Book of Mormon (Mormon, an alleged ancient historian-prophet) - written on metal plates - was given to Mormon's son, Moroni, who added to them and buried them and later revealed their whereabouts to Joseph Smith in the early 1800s, considered a prophet by the Mormons.

I began to recognize error immediately, starting with the introduction that makes reference to Mormon's son Moroni (who appeared to Joseph Smith) as now a "glorified, resurrected being..." What? Has that mortal man, if he even existed, already received his reward when the Bible clearly reveals the righteous, including Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the Prophets, are asleep and await the resurrection and inheritance God offers His people?

Hebrews 11
13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises..39 And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise, 40 God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us.

Jesus clearly stated, "No man has ascended to Heaven" (John 3:13) and Peter testified that King David is still "dead and buried... David did not ascend into the heavens" (Acts 2:29, 34). Paul and John also reveal that we receive our crown and reward at the return of Jesus Christ and our resurrection:

2 Timothy
Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.

Revelation 22
12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.

The same Introduction to the Book of Mormon claims that the "Lamanites" (supposedly Israelites who allegedly came from Jerusalem) are the "principal ancestors of the American Indians." That's an illegitimate claim if there ever was one! Not a single American Indian tribe, First Tribes, First Americans, Native Americans - whatever you choose to call them ( I call them Beringian immigrants) - bear any of the biblical birthmarks of fulfilled prophecy.

The birthmarks of fulfilled biblical prophecies include, as the Jerusalem-based Brit Am Israel organization teaches:

According to the Bible ten out of the twelve tribes of Israel split away (1 Kings 12:19), formed their own kingdom of "Israel" (1 Kings 12:20) and were exiled by the Assyrians (2 Kings 17:18). They forget their identity (Hosea 1:9, 7:8; Isaiah 49:21) and became the Lost Ten Tribes. In the future they will re-unite with the Jews (Ezekiel 37; Isaiah 11:13; Jeremiah 3:18) of "Judah", but until then they have a role of their own to fulfill. They were destined to be situated at the continental extremities of the earth such as North America, the British Isles, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa (Deuteronomy 33:13; Isaiah 24:16, 26:15, 41:8-9, 49:6), to be the richest (Genesis 27:28, 49:25; Deuteronomy 33:13-16; Hosea 2:8), and most powerful (Numbers 24:8-7; Micah 5:7-9) nations on earth and to control major international strategic bases (Genesis 22:16-17, 24:60). All of these points together with numerous others show that descendants of the Lost Ten Tribes can only be found amongst Western Nations, especially the English-speaking ones.

Is the Book of Mormon greater than the 10 Commandments? God had Moses write them on stone tablets, not gold plates. And the hidden metal plates collection supposedly included the biblical lots, the Urim and the Thummim, that are strictly to be used only by a priest from the Tribe of Levi (Ezra 2:63) - not by any other tribe:

Exodus 28
30 And you shall put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim, and they shall be over Aaron’s heart when he goes in before the LORD. So Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel over his heart before the LORD continually.

Deuteronomy 33:8
And of Levi he said: “Let Your Thummim and Your Urim be with Your holy one, Whom You tested at Massah, And with whom You contended at the waters of Meribah...

"The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's Kingdom once again established on the earth preparatory to the second coming of the Messiah." - Introduction

The Bible nowhere refers to the "Church of Jesus Christ," but it does make reference twelve times to the Church of God. Furthermore, it appears they consider Joseph Smith the Elijah who was to come.

Speaking of Jesus Christ, "we shall dwell with him eternally in the heavens" - The Testimony of Three Witnesses

As Jesus Christ plainly taught, "the meek shall inherit the Earth." Other Scriptures prove the New Jerusalem will be established on Earth.

"And the honor be to God the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost, which is one God." - The Testimony of Three Witnesses

Sounds like they're promoting the pagan trinity doctrine of demons, doesn't it?

"..all mankind were in a lost and in a fallen state" - 1 Nephi 10:6.

Alma 3:26 teaches eternal happiness or misery; Alma 40:15 teaches a state of happiness and a state of misery (before the resurrection, when the Bible says the dead know nothing and the dead are asleep) and they promote the immortal soul lie of the serpent: "The soul could never die" (Alma 42:9), when Ezekiel says twice that "the soul that sins shall die" (Ezekiel 18:4, 20) and Jesus warned of both body and soul getting destroyed (Matt.10:28).

Born Again and Heaven and Hell

I did not read much of the Book of Mormon, but what I did read was enough to recognize that it contradicts the Word of God; what I did read was sufficient to see that it is not Scripture, that it is a lie, a book of the dead:

Isaiah 8:20
20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Galatians 1
8...if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.

The Book of Mormon, a false gospel and spurious scripture, amounts to a mishmash of stories, like a confused child or schizophrenic person would tell, mixing truth with error; The Book of Mormon is a spoof from Satan - a demonic comedy - an abomination.

My hope and prayer is that Mormons will burn their book, return to the basics, get back to the Faith once delivered to Jerusalem, and go by the Book - the Holy Bible.

Isaiah 55:7-9
7 Let the wicked forsake his way,
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
Let him return to the LORD,
And He will have mercy on him;
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon.
8 "For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways," says the LORD.
9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.

When you light the lamps

"G-d spoke to Moses, telling him to speak to Aaron and say to him, 'When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall illuminate the menorah.'"
(Numbers 8:1-2)
Sivan 9, 5768/June 12, 2008

The Tabernacle has just been inaugurated and now Aaron the High Priest is kindling the golden menorah which stands in the Tabernacle Sanctuary. Previously in the Book of Numbers the tribal encampments have been determined and the Levites have been assigned their tasks in assembling, disassembling and transporting the Tabernacle through the desert. Life for the nation of Israel, after the turmoil of the exodus from Egypt, the receiving of Torah at Mount Sinai and the complete communal effort to construct the Tabernacle and the holy service vessels seems at long last to be settling down into some kind of normalcy.
The particular phrasing of the Hebrew "When you light the lamps" quite literally means, "when you raise up the flames." This can even be understood as a blessing: "May you have mastery over your passions and desires and always raise them up heavenward." The following verse seems to confirm this Divine intention: "Aaron did that, lighting the lamps to illuminate the menorah, as G-d commanded Moses." (Numbers 8:3)
At this point in the chronicles of the children of Israel we fully expect a quiet and peaceful sojourn in the desert and the nation's quick entrance into Canaan, the land promised by G-d Whose presence dwells within their midst. But then things go awry. A series of debacles plague the young nation threatening their physical existence and more so, threatening their unique relationship with G-d. A smooth ride suddenly becomes bumpy, and a few months in the wilderness becomes forty years.
Trouble begins when "The people began to complain, and it was evil in G-d's ears." (Numbers 11:1) Immediately after, the people grow weary of the manna that G-d has provided for them and begin crying for meat, recalling the delicacies that they enjoyed in Egypt, further provoking G-d's anger. The spirit of malcontent soon made its way even to Miriam and Aaron, the sister and brother of Moses, who have harsh words of criticism for Moses, whom G-d calls "My servant." (Numbers 12:8) This, in turn, is followed by the disastrous report of the spies who returned from Canaan with words which questioned G-d's very ability to fulfill His promise, thereby filling the people with despair. And if this isn't enough, as if to add insult to injury, comes the egoistic rebellion of Korach.
Before we add our own harsh words, and condemn this troublesome generation, let's try to gain some perspective. Imagine assembling your own little ones in the family car and starting out for that quiet place in the country that you have so carefully planned for these many months. Imagine that it involves a four hour, (not quite forty year) drive. Now imagine that, say, fifteen minutes into your journey one child decides that he doesn't like the sandwich you have provided, and insists that you stop along the way for a burger. Meanwhile, another child has nasty words for a sibling that requires your intervention. Further on down the road you discover your children fighting over who gets to sit by the window and even catch wind of a plot brewing by which two of the children plan to commandeer from their brothers the best rooms in the cottage when you finally arrive. And just when you are minutes away from your vacation destination and you think that your travel troubles are behind you, all of a sudden your children, united in purpose now for the first time, declare that they don't like the looks of this place and demand that you turn around right now, and take them home.
No doubt we have all experienced such an adventure, and no doubt that once we arrived at our intended destination and settled in, everything was forgotten and everyone was forgiven. Humor aside, the purpose of this comparison is at once to shed light both on the wearisome children and on the long suffering parents. Children are precious gifts who represent the very best of us. We pray for them and promise them all that we can. They shine for us like the stars in heaven, and yet - they are human. We the parents are dismayed by our children when their behavior is less than exemplary, we grow angry, frustrated, impatient and on occasion even raise our voices, but we always, always view them through the benign and adoring eyes of loving parents.
This brings us back to Numbers 8:1-2: "G-d spoke to Moses, telling him to speak to Aaron and say to him, 'When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall illuminate the menorah.' Aaron did that, lighting the lamps to illuminate the menorah, as G-d commanded Moses." The seven candled menorah can be likened to G-d's loving eyes. Before this turbulent journey in the desert G-d says to His children, "raise up the lights - raise yourselves up before me, so that I can see you in this holy light, for in this holy light of the menorah that will shine upon you throughout all the generations, I will always see you, and always see the best in you."
We have been taught that the generation of the desert were like the angels, they were so holy. But they were even better than that: just like our precious angels, they were human. The pure and loving light of the menorah, kindled by one of G-d's own children, is a testimony to His eternal love for each and every one of us.
Tune in to this week's Temple Talk, as Rabbi Chaim Richman and Yitzchak Reuven discuss the kindling of the golden menorah, and begin the journey with the children of Israel into the wilderness.
Please note: This week's Temple Talk, as well as the three upcoming Temple Talk broadcasts will each be one hour in length. Rabbi Richman will be engaged in a speaking tour of the USA for the following three weeks. For the duration of his visit Temple Talk will be served up in three one-hour prerecorded segments.

Malcolm Hoenlein and Howard Rieger Fail Again

In these perilous times, it is essential for Israel , for the American Jewish community and for America that a full public debate and discussion of Israel’s situation take place. Yet, Diaspora Jewry’s most powerful and established “leaders” have ignored the calls for such an event.

Where Did the TWELVE APOSTLES Go?

When Paul preached the gospel at Rome, where was Peter? Why is the book of Acts strangely silent about the twelve apostles after their departure from Palestine? Here, revealed at last, is one of history's best-kept secrets!

Church of God founded in Jerusalem on Shavuot/Pentecost

Acts 2

Coming of the Holy Spirit
1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come [it wasn't "done away" like religious liars teach - 1 John 2:4], they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
The Crowd’s Response

5 And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. 6 And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. 7 Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? 8 And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born? 9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.” 12 So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?”
13 Others mocking said, “They are full of new wine.”
Peter’s Sermon

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. 15 For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. 16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
17 ‘ And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams.
18 And on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days;
And they shall prophesy.
19 I will show wonders in heaven above
And signs in the earth beneath:
Blood and fire and vapor of smoke.
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness,
And the moon into blood,
Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD.
21 And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the LORD
Shall be saved.’

22 “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know— 23 Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death; 24 whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it. 25 For David says concerning Him:

‘ I foresaw the LORD always before my face,
For He is at my right hand, that I may not be shaken.
26 Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad;
Moreover my flesh also will rest in hope.
27 For You will not leave my soul in Hades,
Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.
28 You have made known to me the ways of life;
You will make me full of joy in Your presence.’

29 “Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. 30 Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne, 31 he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. 32 This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. 33 Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.
34 “For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself:

‘ The LORD said to my Lord,

“ Sit at My right hand,
35 Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”’

36 “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”
37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?”
38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”
A Vital Church Grows

40 And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” 41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. 42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43 Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. 44 Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, 45 and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.
46 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.

Schizophrenic Christians

God hates it when folks mix some biblical truth with pagan error. It's SPIRITUAL ADULTERY. They adulterate, they pollute, the truth by mixing it with condemned paganism. Spiritually, they're whoring around with false gods and flirting with foreign religions.

Why not keep it simple and love and obey God and do as He says, rather than pagan Rome's thing? Forsake Babylon or suffer the consequences.

Deuteronomy 12

30 take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you [for their wrong religious practices and behavior], and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, 'How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise.' 31 You shall not worship the LORD your God in that way; for every abomination to the LORD which He hates they have done to their gods...
32 Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it.

Jeremiah 10
2 Thus says the LORD: Do not learn the way of the Gentiles...

Jude 1:3
I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints [in Jerusalem, not Rome].

Jeremiah 6:16
"Thus saith Yahweh, stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk there in, and ye shall find rest to your souls. But they said, we will not walk therein."

1 Corinthians 10:19-21
19 What am I saying then? That an idol is anything, or what is offered to idols is anything? 20 Rather, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons. 21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18
14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:

“ I will dwell in them
And walk among them.
I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.”

17 Therefore
"Come out from among them
And be separate, say the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you."
18 "I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the LORD Almighty."

Nothing is ever the fault of a Jew?

Re: Thoughts on Meir Kahane...
The idea that Jew-hatred was the problem of the Jew-hater and that it was the job of the Jew to "educate" the Jew-hater not to manifest that hatred - expressed in the following Talmudic dictum "he who raises his hand to bless you, bless him first; he who raises his hand to kill you, kill him first" - was truly liberating for me, who had always been taught that "good Jewish boys don't fight".
