The Holocaust and Jewish Hypocrisy

THE MAN WHO HID ANNE FRANK Re: THE MAN WHO HID ANNE FRANK

Meir Kahane noted the hypocrisy of Jews who cry about how the Gentiles didn’t do more to stop the Holocaust when the American Jewish establishment failed to lift a finger to help their brethren, and how European Jewish leaders even collaborated with the Nazis!

Never again? Shimon Peres, that bloody vulture who came to power over Rabin’s dead body, sells out Jerusalem and betrays Israel for his German-Jesuit masters. The Jews are their own worst enemy.

I made a point of visiting the Anne Frank house in Amsterdam years ago, as I traveled throughout Europe en route to Israel.

The Nazis are about as Christian as Communists, Socialists and the erev ra are Jewish.

There is nothing new under the sun, as far as the Twelve Tribes of Israel haven't always acted like family, especially when you consider the biblical account of the "holocaust" against Benjamin and how the first time the word Jews is used in the Bible it is when the Northern Kingdom of Israel, allied with Syria, fought against the Jews! (Further proof that Joes and Jews are not one and the same, regardless of those who would remain in denial of the biblical distinction between Jews and Israelites).

Islam In Actions (Interfaith Dialogue, What is it Good for?)

Islam In Action
Interfaith Dialogue, What is it Good for?
Posted: 23 Sep 2008 01:47 AM CDT
As I am doing my research on the issue of Islam I sometimes come across articles speaking about interfaith dialogue. Interfaith sounds well and good but the question is what are the actual results of these meetings? Most recently there was a world wide interfaith conference sponsored by the Christian oppressing Saudis. As for Jewish people, they are not even allowed in Saudi Arabia. Just weeks later those same Saudis had over a dozen Christians deported from Saudi Arabia. The horrifying crime of these Christians was worshipping in their homes. Now on September 25Th there will be an interfaith dinner with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad taking place in NYC. The dinner is to break the Ramadan fast. How any self respecting person can sit and eat dinner with the President of Iran is beyond me, let alone Christians and Jews. The Iranian President has a clear agenda that is no one is going to change. He recently has stated that Israel will not survive in any shape or form and the Iranian government has recently voted in a bill calling for the death penalty of those that leave Islam for another religion. Talking to this so called man will not change a thing and it is a complete lesson in denial for those the extend their hands to him. Let us look at three so called "moderate" Islamic countries, starting with Jordan. The Jordanian government prohibits conversion from Islam and the proselytizing of Muslims. The government there has been enforcing this law, as they have recently arrested eight Evangelists for this offense. Secondly is our so called "ally" Egypt who we support by giving them $3 billion dollars a year. Coptic Christians have been persecuted there for centuries and most recently the Egyptian police themselves violently stopped Christians there from rebuilding the only Church in their area. The police even went so far as to hit three women who were helping with the repairs. The third so called "moderate" Islamic country that I will address today is Turkey. A September report shows that the Turkish army has been following Christian missionaries in Turkey and recording their every move. This is clearly an act of intimidation. It is clear that only one group benefits from interfaith dialogue and interfaith dialogue only has one result, that is Islam advancing in our societies. It is time to stop pretending and start protecting ourselves. It is time for a call to end all Mosque construction and Muslim immigration.

Economic Collapse and War

Our Banks Are Going To Collapse

Re: Judgment Day on Wall Street

How many investment bankers are yet as scared for their own personal safety as the typical convenience-store clerk? When the average investment banker is wearing Kevlar instead of Brioni suits, then it really will be "Judgment Day On Wall Street."

Before it's all over, everybody is going to be affected by our economic collapse and even those in their ivory towers will come crashing down, as Beyond Babylon: Europe's Rise and Fall warns:

OUR BANKS ARE GOING TO COLLAPSE, AND OUR ARMY WON’T BE ABLE TO MUSTER ANY STRENGTH! This national demoralization (we’ve only just begun to experience) will result in DEMOBILIZATION! We’re going down (Ezek. 7:14) in FLAMING DEFEAT!

The prophet Isaiah had two sons with symbolic names (Isa. 7:3, 8:1, 18). They’re to warn us of two major events about to take place: 1) OUR DESTRUCTION’S IMMINENT: THE BLITZKRIEG’S ABOUT TO BEGIN! (Maher-shalal-hash-baz). And 2) OUR HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS WILL RETURN HOME (Shear- yashuv)...

O Israelites! Who could beat Great Britain in battle, or whip the U.S. in war, when God shed His grace on thee? Europe could NEVER knock us down and kick us around—until now! Because GOD’S REFINING OUR GOLD IN THE FURNACE OF AFFLICTION, AND PURIFYING OUR SILVER THROUGH GREAT TRIBULATION (Isa. 48:10).

Joes and Jews

Biblical distinction between Jews and Israelites

Re: Patriotism and exceptionalism

readers who are unfamiliar with that ridiculous distinction that normal humans (who would consider a Joe also a Jew) don’t make, only nutcases like you do

Ridiculous distinction? What chutzpah and blasphemy! You slander all those holy men and prophets inspired to make such distinctions. It is historically and biblically important to make this distinction between Jews and Israelites and to be careful not to blur their identities (Ezek. 44:23). After all, God has devoted four books of the Bible to do just that!

However, it is easy to perceive why those captive souls steeped in the Babylonian Mystery religion of TRADITIONAL Christianity (who follow Roman wolves in sheep’s clothing with their accursed replacement theology of Sunday, pagan holidays pretending to be Christian and many other unclean doctrines and idolatrous ideas of their Gentilized Christianity) want to remain willfully ignorant of our Hebrew roots and biblical responsibilities and keep others in the dark about it, blind to Joseph’s identity, because they’re proud and stubborn and unwilling to repent of their Gentile religious lies and tinsel traditions to return to the Faith once delivered and be restored and reconciled with our Father God, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and the Promised Land of Israel.

Shocked by the Bible

WND failed to read Beyond Babylon

WorldNetDaily reports:
"Shocked by the Bible" is jam-packed with fantastic facts no one has dared to publish for general audiences.
************

Apparently WND and Joe Kovacs failed to read Beyond Babylon: Europe's Rise and Fall. Regardless, it's great to see others help spread the Word! Kudos to Kovacs!

Beyond Babylon: Europe's Rise and Fall

Beyond Babylon fulfills the need to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom of God while emphasizing a warning to the world; it includes the truth about our Hebrew roots and biblical responsibilities; about God's Sabbath and Holy Days versus Satan's Sunday and pagan holidays; about Israel's demise and Europe's rise -- these are foundational truths.

Beyond Babylon builds upon that sure foundation by pointing out that it's the sorcerer-pope, the false prophet, who presents Europe's imminent leader as the Savior of "Christian Western Civilization;" he'll perform miracles in his presence urging Europe to remodel themselves after the "Holy Roman Empire" (Rev. 13:14). Together they'll create a counterfeit Kingdom of God.

Beyond Babylon also explains -- FOR THE FIRST TIME -- why there are two witnesses, what their mission and purpose is, why they're stationed in Jerusalem and how they fulfill the Elijah role.

John Bull

Rashi and John Bull

Regarding the Unicorn. Joseph consisted of two tribes, Ephraim and Manasseh. The two symbols of Joseph mentioned in Scripture are the Bull or Young Bull ("BULLOCK") and the Unicorn.

HIS GLORY IS LIKE THE FIRSTLING OF HIS BULLOCK, AND HIS HORNS ARE LIKE THE HORNS OF UNICORNS: WITH THEM HE SHALL PUSH THE PEOPLE TOGETHER TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH: AND THEY ARE THE TEN THOUSANDS OF EPHRAIM, AND THEY ARE THE THOUSANDS OF MANASSEH": [DEUT 33:17].

Here we have two symbols applied to Ephraim and Manasseh and since each Israelite Tribe had its own symbol we may assume that each of the two symbols belonged to one of the two tribes. In the verse above the word translated as BULLOCK (young bull or bull calf) is "SHOR" which actually means "bull" (but not necessarily "young bull") though elsewhere Ephraim is nicknamed a "young bull":

[Jeremiah 31:18] I HAVE SURELY HEARD EPHRAIM BEMOANING HIMSELF THUS; THOU HAST CHASTISED ME, AND I WAS CHASTISED, AS A BULLOCK UNACCUSTOMED TO THE YOKE: TURN THOU ME, AND I SHALL BE TURNED; FOR THOU ART THE LORD MY GOD.

Here Ephraim is called a "young bull". The word used for "young bull" (i.e. "bullock") in Hebrew is "AEGEL". In Ancient Hebrew the word "Aegel" could also actually have been pronounced as "angle". Historically this very name "Aegel" was a diminutive (favorite nickname) for the ethnic term "Angle". Together with the Saxons, Jutes, Vandals, and others the Angles conquered from the Celts the land that was later named England.

The Angles gave England (i.e. “Angle-land”) its name. The Angles were also called “Aegels”. The appellations “Angle” and “Aegel” were employed interchangeably. The Hebrew word for young bull is "Aegel". Rashi (Rabbi Shlomo Yistchaki 1040-1105 CE) was the foremost Medieval Jewish Commentator. In commentating on this verse (Jeremiah 31;18) Rashi states that the Hebrew word “Aegel” (Young Bull) was a name applied to Ephraim. This accords with the simple meaning of the verse. This was another name applied to the English. The English now nickname themselves "John Bull". This is an important point: the verse is strongly indicating that the English (Angles) are to be identified with Ephraim. We therefore have grounds to ascribe the bull symbol to England which leaves the unicorn sign for Manasseh. In addition it is hinted that the section of Israel represented by the horns of unicorns in the last days would be the most powerful.

[Numbers 24:8] GOD BROUGHT HIM FORTH OUT OF EGYPT; HE HATH AS IT WERE THE STRENGTH OF AN UNICORN: HE SHALL EAT UP THE NATIONS HIS ENEMIES, AND SHALL BREAK THEIR BONES, AND PIERCE THEM THROUGH WITH HIS ARROWS.

The Midrash (Numbers Rabah 2;7) says that the unicorn is the symbol of Manasseh and the bull that of Ephraim. It is true that the unicorn is now part of the symbolic coat of arms of the UK but they derived it from Scotland which has two unicorns on its standard. The USA is dominated by Manasseh. The above verse is hinting that Menasseh (symbolized by the unicorn) would end up being the most powerful tribe.

Getting back to the Midrash:
The Midrash (Numbers Rabah 2;7) says that the unicorn is the symbol of Manasseh and the bull that of Ephraim. The Midrash accords with a logical understanding of Scripture. A Midrash is a Rabbinical explanation from the Talmudic era explaining Biblical verses that was accepted at the time as worth recording for future study. Just because the Midrash says something I do not expect you to. I do not accept all Midrashim. Sometimes they are difficult to understand and at times they may appear to contradict each other. Nevertheless they often contain insights to Biblical passages ands/or recall genuine traditions. The Talmud sources, Midrashim, and related sources often correspond with Brit-Am findings and to my mind this shows that we are on the right track. This especially helps where we have an interpretation of Scripture that other people (including some religious Jews) might not agree with.

British Israelites and Jewish colonists

Joes and Jews are colonists by divine design!

Re:Patriotism and exceptionalism
re ‘manifest destiny’. wrong! you need to get your history straight and be very careful here.

Practice what you preach. Both the Bible and history testify to the plain truth of Manifest Destiny.

this idea was a philosophy used to justify the annihilation of native americans.

Was it? Who needed any justification if we truly wanted to commit genocide against those who were occupying the land before the rightful heirs arrived. Did the Americans annihilate the Beringian immigrants (so-called “Native Americans”)? No! We easily could have but we didn’t, so enough of your murderous lies against Joes (Joseph, specifically his son Menashe).

when you use your faulty analogy it opens jews up to being wrongly compared with the colonists. the colonists; however, were inspired by the torah as well as native american governance.

Both the Bible and history testify against your self-righteous rejection of Manifest Destiny, your blindness to Joseph’s identity. Whether or not you choose to remain in denial, both Joes and Jews are colonists, colonizing the lands God has given us, pioneers, settlers (and that’s a GOOD thing contrary to the politically correct cultists who would call good evil and evil good), especially Joseph “to the ends of the Earth.”

The Bible foretold Joseph would branch out with God’s blessing, to colonize and spread out to the far reaches of the Earth as our Great Creator ordained, and the Joes certainly have fulfilled these prophecies!

Deuteronomy 32:8
8 When the Most High divided their inheritance to the nations,
When He separated the sons of Adam [even though we're all family],
He set the boundaries of the peoples
According to the number of the children of Israel [ethnocentric Bible with its focus on the family of Jacob: everything centers around Israel, nationally, internationally].

“Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful bough by a well [water], whose branches run over the wall,” (Gen. 49:22).

“His glory is like the firstling [firstborn] of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of an unicorn [the unicorn is in the national seal of England] with them he [Joseph] shall push the people together to the ends of the earth; and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh,” (Deut. 33:13-17).

The Word of God proves Joes were to push out other peoples to make way for our Israelite inheritance, even as the Jews have pushed out some Arabs (but clearly not enough) to secure the Jewish homeland. Why resist the Word and Will of God and cry for pagan Gentiles rather than praise God for blessing Joseph and Judah?

Patriotism

Manifest Destiny Inspires Patriotism!

Re:Patriotism and exceptionalism

American or Israeli patriotism that is of substance is a patriotism based upon a strong biblical foundation, one that firmly believes in Manifest Destiny - whether Manifest Destiny for these “Lands of the Covenant” (Artzot Habrit) promised to B’nai Menashe (Joseph isn’t Jewish!) or Manifest Destiny for the Jewish homeland of Israel (presently held in trust by Judah for all Twelve Tribes of Israel).

Manifest Destiny! Such a spiritual drive and religious motivation works wonders! Without it, our Israelite family of nations are bankrupt and without meaning and purpose, wandering in bewilderment, an easy prey for the German-Assyrian eagle that rises again.

"You will take of the first of every fruit..."

"You will take of the first of every fruit..."
(Deuteronomy 26:2)
Elul 18, 5768/September 18, 2008

Listen, see, hear, behold! In the book of Deuteronomy we find Moses repeatedly exhorting his people to utilize their ears and their eyes in order to better absorb and understand the words of G-d's message, as they prepare for entering and inheriting the land of Israel. To be able to listen and to observe are prerequisite qualities of a good student. And above all else, G-d's requirement of the children of Israel in the desert was for them to be good students, and to learn the words and ways of Torah. Toward that end, in order to facilitate an ideal learning environment for the Israelites, G-d even saw to it that their clothes would remain intact throughout the forty years, and that they would receive their daily measure of physical nourishment via the manna, two facts that Moses alludes to at the close of this week's Torah reading of Ki Tavo, (see Deuteronomy 29:4).
But soon the children of Israel will enter the land and everything will be different. Their needs will no longer be provided for directly by G-d. On the contrary, they are expected to cultivate the land and raise its crops for sustenance. They will weave their own clothing, make their own shoes, and build their own dwellings. How will they do all these things and still maintain the intimate relationship that they shared with G-d in the desert?

This is the challenge of living in the land of Israel, a land in which every individual must forge a bond between heaven and earth with all their actions, including their daily endeavor to eke out a living and provide for themselves and their loved ones. The secret of how this is accomplished can be seen in these words:

"And it shall be, when you come into the land which HaShem your G-d has given you for an inheritance, and possess it, and dwell in it; that you will take of the first of every fruit of the ground, which you bring in from your land that HaShem your G-d has given you; and you will put it in a basket and go to the place which HaShem your G-d shall choose to cause His name to dwell there. And you will come to the priest that shall be in those days, and say to him: 'I profess this day to HaShem your G-d, that I have come into the land which HaShem swore unto our fathers to give us.'" (Deuteronomy 26:1-3)

In short, a man is required to gather the first and best of the fruits of his labors, and bring them to "to the place which HaShem your G-d shall choose," - the Holy Temple. There, upon presenting his bounty to the priest, he recites the words of praise and recitation of history prescribed in Ki Tavo (Deuteronomy 26:5-10)
As we know, this place, the Holy Temple, is the one place on earth where Torah requires us to be seen, ("Three times in the year all your males shall appear before the L-rd G-d" - Exodus 23:17).

In addition, the commandment of bringing the first fruits requires us to make ourselves heard in this place.

And the very objects over which our words are uttered are no more and no less than the result of our inheriting, possessing and working the land of Israel.
In other words, those three aspects which most exemplified the Israelite existence in the desert - listening, seeing and having their most basic needs provided for directly from heaven - are, now that they have entered and possessed the land, transformed from passive to active qualities: Instead of seeing and looking, each individual must make himself seen - three times a year in the Holy Temple. Instead of listening and hearing, each individual must make himself heard, by uttering the first-fruits prayer - in the Holy Temple. And instead of receiving his nourishment from the heavenly manna, each individual must work the land, and bring the first of his fruits - to the Holy Temple. In this manner, the transformation from the passive childlike desert experience of being cared for, to the land of Israel reality of true independence and self-reliance, is effected without diminishing, and in fact, strengthening the intimate connection between the children of Israel and the G-d of Israel.

This place which G-d chose, this Holy Temple, is the one place where G-d's promise of independence to the former slaves and desert wanderers could ultimately be brought to fulfillment. The verses in this week's Torah reading make this clear concerning the generation that entered the land 3,500 years ago. And so too, the Holy Temple's role for our current generation, not merely as a symbol, but as a facilitator of the nation of Israel's struggle for independence and service to G-d, cannot be overestimated.

Tune in to this week's Temple Talk as Rabbi Chaim Richman and Yitzchak Reuven discuss the bringing of the first fruits, the remarkable willow basket - the te-ne - which held the first fruits, the brilliant intensity of the land of Israel, and the making of the upcoming Hakhel ceremony.

The joy of being in the land of Israel, as expressed through the simple act of bringing the first fruits to the Holy Temple in Jerusalem and expressing our gratitude to G-d. When all is said and done, fulfilling our own G-d given role in life, and accepting with joy all that He has granted us, is what it's all about. Jewish stereotypes about Christians

Counterfeit Christianity feeds Jewish stereotypes

Re: #78 as the first xtians appeared they realised the sparks of the Light of Judaism in it and VERY happy to learn that xtianity - in contrast to Judaism - was cheap and reachable for everyone since it does not demand any deep effort but only the uttering of a “credo”.

Your cheap shots and shallow stereotypes expose a woeful or willful ignorance of biblical Christianity, which unlike traditional “Christianity” is a Bible-based religion that is far more than merely uttering a “credo,” but one that faithfully keeps the biblical Sabbath, biblical festivals, biblical dietary laws in spirit and in truth, in attitude and in action, their meanings magnified and expanded by Yeshua, the King of the Jews, the King of Israel, who will soon return and teach Torah properly to all nations from Jerusalem, beginning with repentant Jews and British-Israelites who will then be called upon to serve as a light to all nations, a model nation: believe it or not.

Shame on Gentilized Christianity for misrepresenting Yeshua and the New Covenant (”New Testament”) with their baptized paganism and replacement theology, their counterfeit Christianity that follows (as the NT warns), “another Jesus,” a “different gospel” and a different “spirit.”

Openly Zionist

Christian Zionist Orde Wingate

Re: George W. Bush’s True Legacy

That you are openly Zionist (Your writings and blog) Leaves me with some intuitive doubts. When a non Jew is holier than Herzl the question comes up Why? It isn’t love for the Jews ( if yes what type of Jew are you referring to?) and except for some geographical sites you probably don’t care much about the Land, O yes the Bible told you so, Right?

I’m sure Christian Zionist Orde Wingate heard such snide comments too, as he lived in Eretz Yisrael (promised to all Twelve Tribes of Israel) and did all he could to help the Jews and didn’t permit the prejudice of some to hinder his God-given purpose.

Christian Zionist Orde Wingate respected Jews but recognized Joseph isn’t Jewish and that family fact, that historical/biblical detail, didn’t disturb those Jews around him with “intuitive doubts,” any more than those Jews on the 8 kibbutzim I’ve lived on (see From Toledo to Jerusalem) or my Torah-observant friends throughout Israel had any problem with my understanding of the Hebrew roots and Israelite origins of the Anglo-Saxon-Celtic peoples, and the Israeli leaders didn’t lose sleep over the fact that Herbert W. Armstrong believed the same with whom they met time and again, including former Mayor Teddy Kollek even presenting him (at a banquet in his honor in Jerusalem) with an Israeli sculpture of David (since Kollek knew Armstrong considered himself a scion of David through the British Royal Family).

Martin Luther King Day?

I had a letter published in The Blade (Toledo, Ohio) and sent to President Reagan, pleading with him not to commit the folly of creating any foolish "Martin Luther King Day." Our fellow black Americans, generally speaking, still hated President Reagan after the fact and still don't practice the good things (there were some good things - they weren't all plagiarized were they?) King preached.

If we're to be judged by the content of our character rather than the color of our skin, why continue to demand quotas and curves and tolerate such racist organizations as the NAACP?

Why doesn't somebody do a documentary on those humble folk marching back then (with their useful idiot whites, too many liberal Jews) with a split screen exposing "niggas with attitude" (a black phrase), the rampant crime, outrageous rates of illegitimacy, unemployment by choice, gangs, welfare projects, black on black violence (not to mention assault on others), the "menace to society" mentality (another black phrase, thanks to excellent director Albert Hughes), disproportionate black prison population and the verbal lynching concerned blacks suffer mercilessly when they dare speak out against such inexcusable poverty of the spirit and moral degradation, slavery to sin and self-destruction?

It is appropriate on this black holiday (and that's what it amounts to, in all honesty), to consider this issue of race from a biblical perspective that those horribly brainwashed by the politically correct cult hate with a passion and rage against in vile anarchist fashion, drowning out any reason and voice other than their own.

Regardless, this biblical truth must be shared, must be made known, while we still have the freedom to exercise our God-given rights of speech and religion.

Is interracial marriage wrong? Did God intend for the races to be separate? Did God divide the nations, segregate the peoples, to preserve distinct family ties?

The plain truth is made known in Race Matters.

When are the Two Witnesses resurrected?

When are the Two Witnesses Resurrected?

It's time to understand what the Bible teaches on this subject. Many have carelessly assumed that their resurrection -- to occur three and one half days after their death takes place at the same time as Christ's coming. THAT IS WRONG! Such a teaching contradicts the clear scripture: "But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father" (Mark 13:32; Acts 1:7). All we would have to do is count three and one half days after they've been martyred and we would know the day and practically the hour! Besides the Scripture plainly states immediately following their resurrection: "The second woe is past and the third woe comes quickly" (Revelation 11:14). The third woe is simultaneous with Jesus' coming and the pouring out of the 7 last plagues in His presence.

The two witnesses will be restored to human life after three and one half days, corresponding to their three and one half years of ministry, as a SIGN that Israel - who'll be as good as dead - will also be resurrected! There is life after Babylon! Then "air transportation" will be provided for them just like it was for Enoch and Elijah - who flew the friendly skies of the first heaven. The two witnesses will be transferred to another location on earth, undoubtedly united with the brethren in "her place", to await the imminent return of Christ!

The Spiritual Odyssey of Elul

"Remember what Amalek did to you along the way as you came out of Egypt."
(Deuteronomy 25:17)
Elul 12, 5768/September 12, 2008

The story of Amalek was first related in the book of Exodus at the chronologically correct time of its occurrence, soon after the crossing of the Sea of Reeds. Why then, is it repeated, albeit with new information, now, as we are reading the book of Deuteronomy? What can we learn from the retelling of the Amalek incident, which appears at the conclusion of this Shabbat's Torah reading of Ki Teitzei (Deuteronomy 21:10-25:19)?

The timing, in fact, couldn't be more propitious as we find ourselves in the thick of the spiritual odyssey of the month of Elul. Often referred to as the season of repentance, Elul may more accurately be described as the season of return, (the Hebrew word for both being identical: teshuvah). For in the month of Elul we embark upon a journey of return: a return to ourselves, a return to G-d, and a return to the fervor and passion that first exemplified our nearness to G-d.

It is in this specific order that Elul prescribes for us to rebuild our relationship to G-d. First we need to rediscover our real me, the pure, good G-dly image in which we were created, and then to reacquaint this real me with its pure, good Creator. The final act of the Elul journey of return is in rekindling the flame that first united our me with G-d.

When we first stray in our behavior the result is to cut G-d from the equation of who we are. The essence of this phenomenon is captured in the Hebrew word chet. Commonly translated in English as "sin," the word chet literally mean to "miss the mark." Lacking the apriori assumption of evil intent, the word chet nevertheless conveys the predicament the the "sinner" finds himself in: The word chet is spelled with three letters, the last letter, alef, being silent. Alef, the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet, whose numerical equivalent is one, comes to stand for the One G-d. When we "sin," or perform a chet, we are, in fact, removing G-d from the expression of our action, relegating Him to a silent role in our lives. However, and herein lies the supreme message of Elul, G-d, just like that silent alef, which remains an integral part of the word chet, is persistent, and remains attached to who we are, even when our actions remove Him from our consciousness.

Returning to our Elul prescription of return, once we rediscover through serious and sometimes painful soul-searching our real "pre-sin" selves, we will discover that G-d, whom we, missing the mark, thought to be far from us, has really remained attached to us all along. Now our eyes and our ears and our hearts have been opened and we are ready to fully include G-d in our lives. But how?
This we learn from this week's retelling of the unprovoked attack by Amalek on the children of Israel. The verse begins, "Remember what Amalek did to you along the way..." (ibid 25:17) Again, we learn from the Hebrew verse which employs the word kar-cha, meaning "happened to you," (as in, "Remember how Amalek happened to you along the way..." The Hebrew kar-cha, meaning "happened to you" shares the same letters as the word kar, meaning "cold." Our sages have taught us that the verse can be understood to say, "Remember how Amalek cooled you off along the way..." - That is not to say that Amalek cooled our passion to fulfill G-d's commandments, but that he cooled our desire to fulfill G-d's commandments with passion! When our relationship with G-d begins to lapse into routine, when the awe and wonder and exquisite newness which attends our every interaction with G-d through our thoughts and actions begins to cool down into predictable pattern, when who we are becomes commonplace, that's when we begin to miss the mark!

Elul beckons us to rediscover ourselves, and by doing so rediscover G-d. But minus the commandment to "blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven" (ibid 25:19) and from our own souls, our renewed relationship will not flourish as we so desire it to.

Tune in to this week's Temple Talk as Rabbi Chaim Richman and Yitzchak Reuven discuss the beckoning month of Elul, the deeper meaning of repentance, repenting not only for our misdeeds, but for what we did right, but missing the requisite passion, as well as the chilling effects of Amalek and the spiritual rekindling that transpires when we ascend to the Temple Mount.

"Remember what Amalek did to you along the way as you came out of Egypt." (Deuteronomy 25:19) G-d wants us to be on fire in the way we serve Him, but Amalek, the enemy of G-d, wants to "cool" us off, enticing us to trade in our passion for walking in G-d's way, with complacency with doing the bare minimum - a situation which truly spells disaster. New on Jew, Jews, Jewish

iVolunteer Holocaust Survivor Visitation Program

iVolunteer is a dynamic visitation program that sends volunteers to the homes of Holocaust survivors, providing them with companionship and much-needed assistance. Our volunteers are carefully matched with survivors who live nearby and share common interests. Through weekly visits, our volunteers build rewarding and enduring friendships with survivors. They are given the privilege of hearing extraordinary stories, and the inter-generational bonds that inevitably form ensure the experience of the Holocaust will not be forgotten.

In addition to providing assistance with shopping and personal organization, the volunteers read to survivors, accompany them on walks, and escort them to doctor visits. iVolunteer creates a sense of community by providing both our survivors and volunteers with social events and special programs. These programs include monthly Friday night dinners for our volunteers and luncheons for our survivors.

The King is in the field!

The King is in the field!
Elul 4, 5768/September 4, 2008

Elul: The King is in the field! Or, in other words, G-d is not locked away behind an imposing gate leading to a remote palace, but He is near to us, and we need but to be ourselves in order to be seen and be heard by Him. Or, in yet other words, as the days pass and we draw nearer to Rosh HaShana, we may find that we have let ourselves down, that we're not where we had hoped we would be when we began our past year energized and inspired by last Rosh HaShana. Feeling distant from where we ought to be, we no doubt feel remote from and detached from our own inner self - our neshama - our pure soul. Feeling this personal exile leads us to feeling remote from G-d.

The beautiful wake-up call sounded in Elul is the message that "The King is in the field!" We may feel like we have distanced ourselves from G-d, but this is not the case at all: G-d the King is near! The time for personal renewal has come. This is not the earth shattering, sea splitting renewal of Nisan and Passover in which G-d inverts the very immutable laws of nature that He established in order to rescue His people from the oblivion of Egypt. No, this is the quiet time of personal initiative so subtly hinted at in the words of the Song of Songs (6:3), "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine." "I am" comes first. "I am" takes precedence. I must take stock. I must make the effort. Our sages compare the Passover redemption experience to receiving a blank page - a completely new and undeserved beginning. The Elul experience is compared to a page already written on by us, but one which we can erase and change and correct. The effort must come from us, and Elul's glad tidings is that G-d is here for us, even before we make the effort to approach Him, and most certainly after.

This past Monday evening, in the spirit of "The King is in the field" and we are reacquainting ourselves with Him, Rabbi Richman and I made a special live Temple Talk broadcast from the Israel National Radio studios in Beit El. We too wanted to reconnect with our listeners and hear directly from them. The result, from our perspective was sublimely gratifying. We received callers from half a dozen US states, Canada and Israel, some old friends and some new friends. The questions and comments which we heard were so informed, so on target. Our overwhelming feeling was that we were all on the same page concerning our desire to see the Holy Temple built, and more importantly, our reasons why we want to see it built.

We often receive inquiries asking us when construction of the Holy Temple will begin. How can we explain to them that it already has begun. That the most basic raw material required for the construction of the Holy Temple is the desire to make it happen. We witness signs of this growing desire daily, but the voices we heard on our Monday night broadcast were so expressive and so tangible that they drove the point home more than ever before.

We often hear expressed, "The Second Temple was destroyed because of baseless hatred. Therefore, before we can even consider building the Third Temple we must create a society of "baseless" love." Don't they understand that this community of understanding and unity of purpose and desire is formulating right now, in our days, around the historical goal of re-establishing the house of G-d, "a house of prayer for all nations?" (Isaiah 56:7) The very process of building the Holy Temple in order to allow for G-d in our world is that which spreads love and unity among all those who are willing to role up their sleeves to make it happen.

The King is in His field, and so are we. That distant palace from which He emerged is really not distant at all. For the field of nearness is none other than G-d's Mount and the palace none other than His Holy Temple. The key to our common future, His, and ours, is found in our hearts and our hands alone.

Tune in to this week's Temple Talk which was recorded live and join Rabbi Chaim Richman and Yitzchak Reuven and friends as they discuss and debate and consult and report on everything from praying on the Temple Mount, the auspicious month of Elul, the Torah reading of Shoftim and the historic recognition by the Supreme Moslem Council of the tight and unbreakable connection between the Temple Mount, Kings David and Solomon, and the G-d of Israel.

Much of interest has been reported in the news lately concerning happenings on and about the Temple Mount. To stay fully informed of events taking place on the holiest spot on earth, please visit our news page.

G-d commands Israel to establish cities of refuge for those who have accidentally murdered their fellow without malice or forethought. However, providing weapons to sworn enemies for the sake of "peace" cannot be considered unintentional manslaughter, but murder. Where Are the Lost Ten Tribes?

Where Are the Lost Ten Tribes?
by IsraelNN Staff

(IsraelNN.com) Historians and Biblical scholars say that King Solomon had a sophisticated navy which voyaged the world in exploration, looking for iron, gold and other materials to build the Holy Temple.

Many shipping ports, settlements and colonies were established in places all over the Mediterranean and North African region, as well as Europe and the Americas. Did some of the 10 tribes of the Northern Kingdom escape on ships to distant lands to escape the Assyrian onslaught and subsequent exile?

In an interview with Israel National Radio's Tamar Yonah, Historian Steve Collins talks about where some of these tribes may have migrated to, including the New World, long before Columbus discovered America.

The English-Speaking Nations of White Israelites
Is God a racist? Does He discriminate? Did Jesus hate Gentiles? Was Paul prejudiced? Are Israelites and Jews superior to other peoples? Is God's favorite color white?

The Plain Truth about the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel
In order to warn Israel about the many prophecies that preview our coming captivity (due to our idolatry and immorality), it was first necessary for God to restore our identity. God has now restored our identity, He's again warning our nations, and it's up to us what will happen next.

German-American Israelites?
"Born German, Made American" by Nicholas Kumanoff in The Atlantic Times, reveals how "to prove their patriotism, immigrants abandoned their old identities."

Joseph isn't Jewish!
My sojourn at Kibbutz Ramat Yohanan, where I served as a kibbutz volunteer for five months in 1982-1983, blessed me with memories to cherish a lifetime.

Israel and Judah Must Get House in Order Before King Messiah Arrives
According to the rabbis, the "Lost Ten Tribes" are for all intents and purposes "Gentiles." This information constitutes further proof that the "Lost Ten Tribes" are not those diverse claimants (African, Indians, Burmese) who maintain remnants of Judaism from somebody's former conversion or contact with the religion of Judaism.

Not All Twelve Tribes of Israel are Jewish?
Some, in clear contradiction of the Holy Bible, pretend that all Twelve Tribes of Israel are Jewish. Such woefully ignorant or deceptive people deny the biblical distinctions between the 12 Tribes and pretend there's only one tribe: Judah.
