"FORSAKE HINDUISM!" is what our Great Creator God, the God of Israel, the God of the Bible, strongly impressed upon my mind, as forcible as if somebody had taken a brand with those words on it and applied it to my forehead.
I had been kneeling in prayer, pleading with God to reveal to me whether or not I was truly being enlightened or deceived by the foreign religion I was heavily involved with and I received my answer in a most unexpected way!
How appalling that an alien Hindu prayer and unclean Hindu chaplain has polluted the Senate chamber! As a former Hindu, I thank God for those three witnesses who testified by word and in deed that only Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior!

Why all the fuss about the Bavarian Pope stating his beliefs? At least he is telling the plain truth about official Roman Catholic teaching -- even if he's in grave error and spewing religious lies, according to the Bible.
Those drunk on the ecumenical spirits, who are in a state of shock or confusion, staggering over his statements, expose they've either been misled by the Vatican or in a stupored state of denial, having fooled themselves that reconciliation between the Catholic Mother and Protestant Daughters was a two-way street rather than a one way street back to Rome and its dead end.
The Roman Catholic Church is not the Church Jesus Christ founded on the holy day of Shavuot/Pentecost. The Roman Catholic Church is the Babylonian Mystery Religion in Christian drag, and they do well to call themselves Catholic because they're not Christians! That's right - Catholics are not Christians. To state anything less is to endanger folks who fail to recognize the seriousness of religious sins or discern doctrines of demons.
The Roman Catholic Church is the apostate organization of those who fell away from the original Sabbath-keeping Church of God. The RCC represents those who became prey to wolves in sheep's clothing and were misled from the Faith once delivered to Jews in Jerusalem, even though they were warned by Peter, John, Jude, Polycarp, Polycrates and other witnesses. Rome is foreign to Jerusalem and anathema to Christ!
Throughout history, the true Church of God has always been the "little flock," the chosen few -- never the majority. The legitimate Church of God's succession is revealed by faithfulness to biblical doctrines (easily proven by noble "Bereans") -- not by a pompous parade of pagan men who blindly follow idolatrous traditions and engage in identity theft, in a massive fraud, a counterfeit Christianity that pollutes the holy name of Jesus Christ and misrepresents God (Rev. 12:9).
It appears the German-Jesuit pope is determined to discipline, and in the unholy spirit of the Inquisition and Crusades is clearly gearing up for battle and drawing lines in the sand and is prepared to crack the whip -- whether it's his tongue (like his stinging rebuke of the EU as "apostate" over their refusal to acknowledge Catholicism's contributions to Europe in their Constitution) or Caesar's sword.
Watch for the pope to promote a man after his own heart to govern Europe and wield whatever force is necessary to stabilize the world -- even if it means going ballistic.

Rabbi A. Y. Heschel of Apt, (the famed Ohev Yisrael), points out that the Torah portion of Pinchas, which is always read during beyn hameitzarim, the three weeks of mourning and introspection concerning the destruction of the Holy Temple, contains within it a description of all of the Jewish holy days. Seven days of Passover, one day of Shavuot, two days of Rosh HaShana, one day of Yom Kippur, seven days of Sukkot, one day of Shmini Atzeret, Shabbat and Rosh Chodesh totaling twenty one days, are all mentioned in the Torah portion. These twenty one holy days parallel the twenty one days of the beyn hameitzarim period between the seventeenth day of Tammuz and the ninth day of Av. Rabbi Heschel of Apt goes on to emphasize that these twenty one days of mourning don't merely parallel the twenty one festive days, they are, in fact, the spiritual root and source of the twenty one festive days. This is a very powerful statement: In other words, these twenty one days that for the past 1937 years have been utilized to express our grief over the loss of the Holy Temple, are not grim and remorseful by nature, but quite the opposite. These are days which portend greatness, peace, and joy. These are days laden with potential.
The hidden nature of potential would seem to be the common theme which binds the inner spirit of Pinchas, both with his contemporaries, the generation of the desert, and with the twenty one days of the beyn hameitzarim. "Pinchas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest..." (ibid) is granted the rarified status of zealot. Despite the fact that he took the lives of two people, he is not considered a murderer, G-d forbid. Had even the smallest aspect of his character evinced a trace of violence or malice he could not have been accepted as a zealot. The Torah emphasizes his lineage, "Pinchas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aharon the priest..." (ibid), in order to make clear that he was a true son of Aharon, a man of chesed - kindness, who loved humanity and sought peace between people. Pinchas' potential for greatness was not obvious to the onlooker. His ultimate act of love for Hashem and His people seemingly came out of nowhere, contradicting his peaceful, forbearing personality.
Just as with Pinchas, there lies within the very pure nature of the twenty one days of the beyn hameitzarim the power for change and renewal. Hidden behind their outward appearance of mourning and regret is the great power possessed by the pure zealot to stop outright the 1937 year old plague of devastation, and restore the exiled twenty one holy days of the Jewish calendar to their rightful place of celebration: the Holy Temple in Jerusalem.
It is up to us, today, to step forth and unlock the great potential inherent within the days of the beyn hameitzarim. It is up to us to tap into the same wellspring of zealous purity, and like Pinchas, right the wrong. Only then will we merit G-d's "covenant of peace." (Numbers 25:12)

My Church of God experiences
The Sabbath-keeping Church of God is to teach the plain truth of the Bible whether folks believe it or not. It is our responsibility to share what we know and what folks do with such precious knowledge is between God and them.
I was a baptized member of the Worldwide Church of God when Herbert W. Armstrong was alive. Since Mr. Armstrong's death, January 16, 1986, there has been a monstrous betrayal of the brethren by Protestant wolves who were among us, resulting in those faithful to the truth of the Bible (over traditional error) fleeing that present corrupt organization of deceived and deceiving men to new congregations and organizations that reflect and teach our biblical views.
There has been, as with every group or organization that undergoes changes, strong disagreements within the Church of God on how best to continue with what we are convicted is the plain truth of the Bible, but we all basically agree on our foundational doctrines.

Useful idiot for ANC now Zionist
It's sickening to see how my "distant relative" Stan Goodenough, who I met in Jerusalem and discussed how we're both related to John and Priscilla Alden (Mayflower Pilgrims), and how we both do what we can to bless Judah, was a useful idiot for the ANC as some liberal Jews in Israel are for the Nazi-Muslims with their "Peace Now."

I read your article on Sabbath keeping and the holy days. I only can say that you are not required to keep them, according to Jewish law
I realize according to traditional Jewish law they say it is not necessary, and some even say we should be put to death! However, the Word of God that such traditions woefully ignore reveal that God has given the holy days to Israel to share with the whole world as they represent God's plan of salvation for all mankind, even as the Third Temple will be a house of prayer for all peoples with no mention of division in Ezekiel between Gentiles and Israelites any longer.

As for the Sabbath, it has been in existence since Creation and Adam and Eve were not Jewish! Just like the dietary laws have been in existence since Creation with Noah taking into the Ark clean animals by seven and unclean animals by two. I prefer the Word of God over Jewish or "Christian" tradition. The prophecies also reveal that King Messiah will command ALL nations to keep the biblical festivals of the LORD or suffer the consequences. This truth is completely contrary to traditional Jewish law and "Christian" tradition.

I did not know that you had Jewish cousins, but I saw that a family named Israel Ort was in your vicinity on previous census records.
Israel Ort is my great Grandfather on my father's maternal side. I'm at a standstill on my father's paternal side - the Hoover's. My great great Grandfather Abraham Hoover took off with the maid (and left his wife Anne Creeger behind) and has never been found. Some relative contacted me and said he was born in Pennsylvania and such but it doesn't appear sure.
Your family farm sounds wonderful, and I hope that you will not leave this world without any offspring. Such a kind and devout person as yourself must be duplicated.
I trust God will give me a name in His Kingdom that will last forever. As for this mortal life, I am "gay" (against my religious beliefs) and have AIDS, so it's not likely I'll have any sons or daughters although I would consider such tremendous blessings - unlike so many "sperm donors" (they're not fit to be called fathers as they're not involved in their children's lives and have merely impregnated women).

The Jews have prayed for 2,000 years to again see the Temple upon the Temple Mount. It's past time for prayers alone: ACTION is necessary to put faith into practice!
Let the Muslims submit to the Word and Will of God concerning the Temple Mount. Its sole purpose is to House the Temple of the God of Jacob-Israel: that all nations may come to know, love and obey the God of Abraham.
May they agree the Rock of Abraham has been preserved by the "Dome of the Rock," and that it was created for the Jews to continue their worship upon the site of Israel's Temple. It has served its purpose and now it's past time to restore spiritual sovereignty to the Jews upon the Temple Mount that they may build the House of Prayer for all peoples to come and worship.
May the Jewish leaders repent of their woeful neglect of the Temple Mount and end Jerusalem's abomination of desolation - a Temple Mount without a Temple!
May the pope encourage Judah to obey God and build His Royal House, His Heavenly Embassy, in the noble spirit of King Cyrus, and restore the Temple treasures to Jerusalem.
May the Vatican release the silver, release the gold, that Rome stole from Jerusalem!
May they immediately return the Menorah to stand again where it belongs: upon the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, within the Temple! The Vatican chambers will have served their purpose of protecting and preserving such consecrated items for this time.

"As Birds Flying"
Jerusalem, 1917 - One of the most amazing events of our times!
In these days, when on the one hand, unbelief and disregard for the Bible message are widespread, while on the other hand, so many signs point to the near return of our Lord, it is vital that we face up to the irrefutable evidence of this fulfilled prophecy, as a "light that shineth in a dark place..." (2.PET 1:19).
It is because of this indisputable proof that the writer continues to feel constrained to draw attention to Jerusalem, 1917. God's promise, given more than 2,600 years before the event, was fulfilled in the exact manner - "As birds flying" - indicated by Isaiah 31:5; in the exact year, 1917, foretold by Daniel 12:12, and on the exact day given by Haggai 2:18-20.
To those with eyes to see and ears to hear, this great event, probably the greatest since Pentecost, proclaims that God is working His purpose out and the time for the Lord's Return is drawing near (MATT 25:13).
Jerusalem, the most famous city in the world, was delivered from its centuries long domination by the Turks, on the 9th-11th December, 1917, by British forces under the command of General Allenby.
In the book 'Light For The Last Days' by Dr. Grattan Guinness (written in 1886), he pointed out that the one thousand three hundred and thirty five days of Daniel 12:12 (on the prophetic scale given in Numbers 14:34 and Ezekiel 4:6 - "each day for a year") were due to expire in 1917. Turning to the Book of Daniel we find that chapter nine records Daniel's prayer concerning his home-town Jerusalem, and his own people of Judah. Therefore the 'blessing' evidently indicated something good for Jerusalem in 1917.
Here we have fulfilment indeed. The city, as we know, was delivered. The oppressor was driven out, and a new epoch for both city and people commenced in A.D.1917 (The Moslem year - 1335) as had been foretold nearly twenty-five centuries before.

Further Proof
The writer felt led to apply the prophetic scale "each day for a year" to the other two time measures given in Daniel 12 verses 7-11. Commencing with the rise of the desolating Moslem power (A.D. 622), and using the lunar year measure, the complete result was as follows:

The year 1844 is at once recognised as being the year in which the Powers compelled the Sultan of Turkey to sign the Decree of Toleration, abolishing the death penalty for conversion from Mohammedanism.
This was a definite stage in breaking the power of Islam. The question immediately arose: what was the significance of the year 1873? The answer was found in a book entitled 'A Short History Of The Jewish People' by Cecil Roth. Writing of the origin of the modern anti-Jewish movement in Germany towards the last quarter of the nineteenth century, he shows that the movement owes its inception to the year 1873.
The Exact Day
Even more remarkable is the fact that the actual day of the month on which the Holy City was delivered is very definitely marked in the inspired message of the prophet Haggai. A message of blessing is brought to God's people by Haggai (HAG 2:15-18); it was given on the four and twentieth day of the ninth month. The ninth month of the Hebrew year is Kislev. Therefore, we may recognise here again the finger of God in the deliverance of Jerusalem, when we find that it occurred on the exact date of the blessing foretold through Haggai twenty-four centuries beforehand; for in 1917 the 24th Kislev fell on December 9th.
Furthermore, all Jewish days begin at the previous sunset, and from the beginning of 24th Kislev (sunset on December 8, 1917), and all through the night, Turkish troops were evacuating the Holy City.
By early morning all had gone, and soon after 8 a.m. on December 9th (24th Kislev), the Mayor of Jerusalem and a small party, under a white flag, were seen coming from the Holy City to surrender the keys of the city to the British commander.
Divine foreknowledge alone can account for these facts. There is another curious fact concerning this event, which emphasises God's over-ruling power. The Turks had a saying which seems to remind us of the incident recorded in 2. Kings 7:1-18, where the 'impossible' happened. In their boast that the sword of Islam should hold sway over the land, they used the words to imply the impossibility of overthrowing their domination, saying, "When the waters of the Nile flow into Palestine, then will a prophet of the Lord come and drive the Turks out of this land," signifying that as surely as it was impossible for the waters of the Nile to flow across the many miles of desert to Palestine, so it was impossible that men could drive them out.
The 'impossible' happened those centuries ago at the gate of Samaria and the 'impossible' happened in this case. In order to supply our troops crossing the desert, the waters of the Nile were brought by a pipe-line, which they laid under the Suez Canal and across the desert. Not only this, but the great leader who drove the Turks out was named Allenby, which in its Arabic version became 'Allah-en-Nebi', or 'prophet of God'.
Christian apologists, and preachers, sometimes tell us that one cannot prove the existence of God - one can only believe; but here we have accumulated evidence which demonstrates conclusively, not only the existence, but the omniscience and Almighty Power of God, as well as the truth and exactitude of His written Word, the Bible.
