Jewish stereotypes about Christians

Counterfeit Christianity feeds Jewish stereotypes

Re: #78 as the first xtians appeared they realised the sparks of the Light of Judaism in it and VERY happy to learn that xtianity - in contrast to Judaism - was cheap and reachable for everyone since it does not demand any deep effort but only the uttering of a “credo”.

Your cheap shots and shallow stereotypes expose a woeful or willful ignorance of biblical Christianity, which unlike traditional “Christianity” is a Bible-based religion that is far more than merely uttering a “credo,” but one that faithfully keeps the biblical Sabbath, biblical festivals, biblical dietary laws in spirit and in truth, in attitude and in action, their meanings magnified and expanded by Yeshua, the King of the Jews, the King of Israel, who will soon return and teach Torah properly to all nations from Jerusalem, beginning with repentant Jews and British-Israelites who will then be called upon to serve as a light to all nations, a model nation: believe it or not.

Shame on Gentilized Christianity for misrepresenting Yeshua and the New Covenant (”New Testament”) with their baptized paganism and replacement theology, their counterfeit Christianity that follows (as the NT warns), “another Jesus,” a “different gospel” and a different “spirit.”

Openly Zionist

Christian Zionist Orde Wingate

Re: George W. Bush’s True Legacy

That you are openly Zionist (Your writings and blog) Leaves me with some intuitive doubts. When a non Jew is holier than Herzl the question comes up Why? It isn’t love for the Jews ( if yes what type of Jew are you referring to?) and except for some geographical sites you probably don’t care much about the Land, O yes the Bible told you so, Right?

I’m sure Christian Zionist Orde Wingate heard such snide comments too, as he lived in Eretz Yisrael (promised to all Twelve Tribes of Israel) and did all he could to help the Jews and didn’t permit the prejudice of some to hinder his God-given purpose.

Christian Zionist Orde Wingate respected Jews but recognized Joseph isn’t Jewish and that family fact, that historical/biblical detail, didn’t disturb those Jews around him with “intuitive doubts,” any more than those Jews on the 8 kibbutzim I’ve lived on (see From Toledo to Jerusalem) or my Torah-observant friends throughout Israel had any problem with my understanding of the Hebrew roots and Israelite origins of the Anglo-Saxon-Celtic peoples, and the Israeli leaders didn’t lose sleep over the fact that Herbert W. Armstrong believed the same with whom they met time and again, including former Mayor Teddy Kollek even presenting him (at a banquet in his honor in Jerusalem) with an Israeli sculpture of David (since Kollek knew Armstrong considered himself a scion of David through the British Royal Family).

Just look at the deceptive history of the accursed Roman Catholic Cult with its whitewash of Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Sunday and other pagan hollow daze. Shame, shame.

No wonder the bloody Vatican has always declared war on the Jews and the Sabbath-keeping Church of God for exposing their demonic replacement theology that would substitute baptized paganism for the biblical Sabbath and festivals Yeshua, the Prophets, the Apostles, the early Church of God with its converted Jews, Israelites and Gentiles faithfully kept, and soon the whole world will learn to observe also when Rome and its mass deception of a Gentilized Jesus, a counterfeit Christianity, another gospel, a different spirit, are history.

Martin Luther King Day?

I had a letter published in The Blade (Toledo, Ohio) and sent to President Reagan, pleading with him not to commit the folly of creating any foolish "Martin Luther King Day." Our fellow black Americans, generally speaking, still hated President Reagan after the fact and still don't practice the good things (there were some good things - they weren't all plagiarized were they?) King preached.

If we're to be judged by the content of our character rather than the color of our skin, why continue to demand quotas and curves and tolerate such racist organizations as the NAACP?

Why doesn't somebody do a documentary on those humble folk marching back then (with their useful idiot whites, too many liberal Jews) with a split screen exposing "niggas with attitude" (a black phrase), the rampant crime, outrageous rates of illegitimacy, unemployment by choice, gangs, welfare projects, black on black violence (not to mention assault on others), the "menace to society" mentality (another black phrase, thanks to excellent director Albert Hughes), disproportionate black prison population and the verbal lynching concerned blacks suffer mercilessly when they dare speak out against such inexcusable poverty of the spirit and moral degradation, slavery to sin and self-destruction?

It is appropriate on this black holiday (and that's what it amounts to, in all honesty), to consider this issue of race from a biblical perspective that those horribly brainwashed by the politically correct cult hate with a passion and rage against in vile anarchist fashion, drowning out any reason and voice other than their own.

Regardless, this biblical truth must be shared, must be made known, while we still have the freedom to exercise our God-given rights of speech and religion.

Is interracial marriage wrong? Did God intend for the races to be separate? Did God divide the nations, segregate the peoples, to preserve distinct family ties?

The plain truth is made known in Race Matters.

When are the Two Witnesses resurrected?

When are the Two Witnesses Resurrected?

It's time to understand what the Bible teaches on this subject. Many have carelessly assumed that their resurrection -- to occur three and one half days after their death takes place at the same time as Christ's coming. THAT IS WRONG! Such a teaching contradicts the clear scripture: "But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father" (Mark 13:32; Acts 1:7). All we would have to do is count three and one half days after they've been martyred and we would know the day and practically the hour! Besides the Scripture plainly states immediately following their resurrection: "The second woe is past and the third woe comes quickly" (Revelation 11:14). The third woe is simultaneous with Jesus' coming and the pouring out of the 7 last plagues in His presence.

The two witnesses will be restored to human life after three and one half days, corresponding to their three and one half years of ministry, as a SIGN that Israel - who'll be as good as dead - will also be resurrected! There is life after Babylon! Then "air transportation" will be provided for them just like it was for Enoch and Elijah - who flew the friendly skies of the first heaven. The two witnesses will be transferred to another location on earth, undoubtedly united with the brethren in "her place", to await the imminent return of Christ!

The Spiritual Odyssey of Elul

"Remember what Amalek did to you along the way as you came out of Egypt."
(Deuteronomy 25:17)
Elul 12, 5768/September 12, 2008

The story of Amalek was first related in the book of Exodus at the chronologically correct time of its occurrence, soon after the crossing of the Sea of Reeds. Why then, is it repeated, albeit with new information, now, as we are reading the book of Deuteronomy? What can we learn from the retelling of the Amalek incident, which appears at the conclusion of this Shabbat's Torah reading of Ki Teitzei (Deuteronomy 21:10-25:19)?

The timing, in fact, couldn't be more propitious as we find ourselves in the thick of the spiritual odyssey of the month of Elul. Often referred to as the season of repentance, Elul may more accurately be described as the season of return, (the Hebrew word for both being identical: teshuvah). For in the month of Elul we embark upon a journey of return: a return to ourselves, a return to G-d, and a return to the fervor and passion that first exemplified our nearness to G-d.

It is in this specific order that Elul prescribes for us to rebuild our relationship to G-d. First we need to rediscover our real me, the pure, good G-dly image in which we were created, and then to reacquaint this real me with its pure, good Creator. The final act of the Elul journey of return is in rekindling the flame that first united our me with G-d.

When we first stray in our behavior the result is to cut G-d from the equation of who we are. The essence of this phenomenon is captured in the Hebrew word chet. Commonly translated in English as "sin," the word chet literally mean to "miss the mark." Lacking the apriori assumption of evil intent, the word chet nevertheless conveys the predicament the the "sinner" finds himself in: The word chet is spelled with three letters, the last letter, alef, being silent. Alef, the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet, whose numerical equivalent is one, comes to stand for the One G-d. When we "sin," or perform a chet, we are, in fact, removing G-d from the expression of our action, relegating Him to a silent role in our lives. However, and herein lies the supreme message of Elul, G-d, just like that silent alef, which remains an integral part of the word chet, is persistent, and remains attached to who we are, even when our actions remove Him from our consciousness.

Returning to our Elul prescription of return, once we rediscover through serious and sometimes painful soul-searching our real "pre-sin" selves, we will discover that G-d, whom we, missing the mark, thought to be far from us, has really remained attached to us all along. Now our eyes and our ears and our hearts have been opened and we are ready to fully include G-d in our lives. But how?
This we learn from this week's retelling of the unprovoked attack by Amalek on the children of Israel. The verse begins, "Remember what Amalek did to you along the way..." (ibid 25:17) Again, we learn from the Hebrew verse which employs the word kar-cha, meaning "happened to you," (as in, "Remember how Amalek happened to you along the way..." The Hebrew kar-cha, meaning "happened to you" shares the same letters as the word kar, meaning "cold." Our sages have taught us that the verse can be understood to say, "Remember how Amalek cooled you off along the way..." - That is not to say that Amalek cooled our passion to fulfill G-d's commandments, but that he cooled our desire to fulfill G-d's commandments with passion! When our relationship with G-d begins to lapse into routine, when the awe and wonder and exquisite newness which attends our every interaction with G-d through our thoughts and actions begins to cool down into predictable pattern, when who we are becomes commonplace, that's when we begin to miss the mark!

Elul beckons us to rediscover ourselves, and by doing so rediscover G-d. But minus the commandment to "blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven" (ibid 25:19) and from our own souls, our renewed relationship will not flourish as we so desire it to.

Tune in to this week's Temple Talk as Rabbi Chaim Richman and Yitzchak Reuven discuss the beckoning month of Elul, the deeper meaning of repentance, repenting not only for our misdeeds, but for what we did right, but missing the requisite passion, as well as the chilling effects of Amalek and the spiritual rekindling that transpires when we ascend to the Temple Mount.

"Remember what Amalek did to you along the way as you came out of Egypt." (Deuteronomy 25:19) G-d wants us to be on fire in the way we serve Him, but Amalek, the enemy of G-d, wants to "cool" us off, enticing us to trade in our passion for walking in G-d's way, with complacency with doing the bare minimum - a situation which truly spells disaster. The King is in the field!

The King is in the field!
Elul 4, 5768/September 4, 2008

Elul: The King is in the field! Or, in other words, G-d is not locked away behind an imposing gate leading to a remote palace, but He is near to us, and we need but to be ourselves in order to be seen and be heard by Him. Or, in yet other words, as the days pass and we draw nearer to Rosh HaShana, we may find that we have let ourselves down, that we're not where we had hoped we would be when we began our past year energized and inspired by last Rosh HaShana. Feeling distant from where we ought to be, we no doubt feel remote from and detached from our own inner self - our neshama - our pure soul. Feeling this personal exile leads us to feeling remote from G-d.

The beautiful wake-up call sounded in Elul is the message that "The King is in the field!" We may feel like we have distanced ourselves from G-d, but this is not the case at all: G-d the King is near! The time for personal renewal has come. This is not the earth shattering, sea splitting renewal of Nisan and Passover in which G-d inverts the very immutable laws of nature that He established in order to rescue His people from the oblivion of Egypt. No, this is the quiet time of personal initiative so subtly hinted at in the words of the Song of Songs (6:3), "I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine." "I am" comes first. "I am" takes precedence. I must take stock. I must make the effort. Our sages compare the Passover redemption experience to receiving a blank page - a completely new and undeserved beginning. The Elul experience is compared to a page already written on by us, but one which we can erase and change and correct. The effort must come from us, and Elul's glad tidings is that G-d is here for us, even before we make the effort to approach Him, and most certainly after.

This past Monday evening, in the spirit of "The King is in the field" and we are reacquainting ourselves with Him, Rabbi Richman and I made a special live Temple Talk broadcast from the Israel National Radio studios in Beit El. We too wanted to reconnect with our listeners and hear directly from them. The result, from our perspective was sublimely gratifying. We received callers from half a dozen US states, Canada and Israel, some old friends and some new friends. The questions and comments which we heard were so informed, so on target. Our overwhelming feeling was that we were all on the same page concerning our desire to see the Holy Temple built, and more importantly, our reasons why we want to see it built.

We often receive inquiries asking us when construction of the Holy Temple will begin. How can we explain to them that it already has begun. That the most basic raw material required for the construction of the Holy Temple is the desire to make it happen. We witness signs of this growing desire daily, but the voices we heard on our Monday night broadcast were so expressive and so tangible that they drove the point home more than ever before.

We often hear expressed, "The Second Temple was destroyed because of baseless hatred. Therefore, before we can even consider building the Third Temple we must create a society of "baseless" love." Don't they understand that this community of understanding and unity of purpose and desire is formulating right now, in our days, around the historical goal of re-establishing the house of G-d, "a house of prayer for all nations?" (Isaiah 56:7) The very process of building the Holy Temple in order to allow for G-d in our world is that which spreads love and unity among all those who are willing to role up their sleeves to make it happen.

The King is in His field, and so are we. That distant palace from which He emerged is really not distant at all. For the field of nearness is none other than G-d's Mount and the palace none other than His Holy Temple. The key to our common future, His, and ours, is found in our hearts and our hands alone.

Tune in to this week's Temple Talk which was recorded live and join Rabbi Chaim Richman and Yitzchak Reuven and friends as they discuss and debate and consult and report on everything from praying on the Temple Mount, the auspicious month of Elul, the Torah reading of Shoftim and the historic recognition by the Supreme Moslem Council of the tight and unbreakable connection between the Temple Mount, Kings David and Solomon, and the G-d of Israel.

Much of interest has been reported in the news lately concerning happenings on and about the Temple Mount. To stay fully informed of events taking place on the holiest spot on earth, please visit our news page.

G-d commands Israel to establish cities of refuge for those who have accidentally murdered their fellow without malice or forethought. Where Are the Lost Ten Tribes?

Where Are the Lost Ten Tribes?
by IsraelNN Staff

(IsraelNN.com) Historians and Biblical scholars say that King Solomon had a sophisticated navy which voyaged the world in exploration, looking for iron, gold and other materials to build the Holy Temple.

Many shipping ports, settlements and colonies were established in places all over the Mediterranean and North African region, as well as Europe and the Americas. Did some of the 10 tribes of the Northern Kingdom escape on ships to distant lands to escape the Assyrian onslaught and subsequent exile?

In an interview with Israel National Radio's Tamar Yonah, Historian Steve Collins talks about where some of these tribes may have migrated to, including the New World, long before Columbus discovered America.

The Plain Truth about the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel
In order to warn Israel about the many prophecies that preview our coming captivity (due to our idolatry and immorality), it was first necessary for God to restore our identity. God has now restored our identity, He's again warning our nations, and it's up to us what will happen next.

My sojourn at Kibbutz Ramat Yohanan, where I served as a kibbutz volunteer for five months in 1982-1983, blessed me with memories to cherish a lifetime.

Israel and Judah Must Get House in Order Before King Messiah Arrives
According to the rabbis, the "Lost Ten Tribes" are for all intents and purposes "Gentiles." This information constitutes further proof that the "Lost Ten Tribes" are not those diverse claimants (African, Indians, Burmese) who maintain remnants of Judaism from somebody's former conversion or contact with the religion of Judaism.

Not All Twelve Tribes of Israel are Jewish?
Some, in clear contradiction of the Holy Bible, pretend that all Twelve Tribes of Israel are Jewish. Such woefully ignorant or deceptive people deny the biblical distinctions between the 12 Tribes and pretend there's only one tribe: Judah.

Blind to Joseph's Identity!

Re: Historic Fraud: Indian Bnei Menashe
Post Date: 2008-08-25 20:12:10 by David Ben-Ariel

18. To: Magician (#13)

None of the ten tribes landed up in northern Europe or Britain, despite the claims of such insane persons as Herbert Armstrong - and yourself.

Joseph's brethren were also blind to his identity and Joseph stood right in front of them. Nothing new under the sun, eh? Foolishly calling Herbert W. Armstrong or myself "insane" because you're apparently willfully deaf, dumb and blind to the Hebrew roots, the Israelite origins, of the White peoples of Northwestern Europe and the Anglo-Saxon-Celtic peoples doesn't change the facts. Was Orde Wingate "insane" too? And other Christian Zionists too? What lashon hara! (evil tongue, slander). Your prejudice, your bigotry against White Israelites (who are not Jewish and never have been) blinds you.

May God grant you repentance and help you to see, rather than continue to wander in the wilderness fooling yourself that Asian and African converts to the religion of Judaism have somehow changed their race, their ethnicity, and become - presto! - Israelites! Again, if they're ethnic Israelites, you're not! You can't have it both ways. Your Indian emperor has no clothes! Your Indian converts are not Israelites any more than the "Black Hebrews" that pollute Dimona with their unclean presence are Israelites.

If you knew the Bible and history, or weren't in denial of it, you would know that the Northern Ten Tribes of ISRAEL (not Jews, not Jewish, not of Judah), were not to remain in those areas but were foretold to migrate NORTH and WEST and into the ISLES. "We The People" (Am Yisrael) have done so, as the Law and Prophets testify. To ignorantly imagine Israelites have stayed put in the Middle East only is like saying the only true Jews (not Israelites) are in the Middle East (as some do say).

Yair Davidiy, a Torah-observant Jew, founder of Brit-Am Israel in Jerusalem, Israel, offers a treasure trove of rabbinical sources and Jewish information that help reveal Joseph as the Anglo-Saxon-Celtic peoples. Truly, Jews like Yair Davidiy (and Avraham Feld, rabbi) are wonderful pioneers and help hasten the process of redemption that calls for the restoration and reconciliation between Joseph (Northern Ten Tribes of ISRAEL, capital Samaria) and Judah (Southern Kingdom of Judah, capital Jerusalem), that we may ultimately become One Nation Under God, a truly United Kingdom.

Look, Behold, See - and Choose!

"See, I set before you this day
a blessing and a curse."

(Deuteronomy 11:26)
Av 25, 5768/August 26, 2008

Look, behold, see! These words relentlessly crop up all throughout the book of Deuteronomy, and especially so throughout this week's reading of Re'eh - See! This eye-opening imperative which begins the reading of Re'eh is followed by: "the blessing: that you hearken to the commandments of HaShem your G-d, that I command you today; and the curse: if you do not hearken to the commandments of HaShem your G-d, but turn aside from the path which I command you today, to go after other gods, that you did not know." (Deuteronomy 11:27-28)
The presentation of both a blessing and a curse implies choice on the part of the children of Israel, and the imperative "See!" establishes a direct connection between vision and the ability to make such choice. In order to choose we need first to distinguish, and in order to distinguish between good and bad, right and wrong, exile and redemption, embracing G-d's command or shying away from His word, we must necessarily see clearly and behold the reality that lays before us.
Free will and the ability to make choices, we know, is what separates man from the rest of G-d's creation, and, indeed, what separates us from G-d Himself. For what choice could possibly lay before the Blessed All Knowing One, Whose will infuses all existence? And we, who are created in His image, and commanded to be holy for He is holy, how are we to know what choices to make? How are we to acquire the gift of choosing correctly from the All Knowing G-d?
Yet we are told that G-d has made choices: He chose the children of Israel as His people, He chose the land of Israel for His people, and in the reading of Re'eh, we are told "then it shall come to pass that the place which HaShem your G-d shall choose to cause His name to dwell there, there you will bring all that I command you: your burnt-offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which you vow unto HaShem." (ibid 12:11)
This third choice refers, of course to G-d's chosen house - the Holy Temple on Mount Moriah in Jerusalem. So G-d has, in fact, made three distinct choices: His people, His land, and the place of the dwelling of His presence on this earth. All three of these Divine choices share a common element: the actualization, the fulfillment, of all three are contingent upon our making the very same choices. We must choose to accept upon ourselves the role of peoplehood that G-d has chosen for us. We must choose to accept the imperative of living in the land of Israel that G-d has chosen for us. And we must choose to honor with our presence the very spot on earth that G-d has chosen as the place in which His name will dwell. To choose to accept upon ourselves any of these three G-dly choices, we must necessarily choose to honor and to embrace and to fulfill all three. To choose but one or two is to choose none at all, for the fulfillment of each one is contingent upon the fulfillment of the other two.
So, in fact, G-d is teaching us, and showing us, and guiding us to make the right choices to assume our destiny and to enable the fulfillment of His will on earth. Bringing the choices to fruition requires absolute dedication to G-d and devotion to the task, but making the choices should be easy. After all, these are the choices that G-d Himself has made: His people, His land, and His place on earth from which to reach out to all humanity. We need but to open our eyes and see fully all of G-d's goodness that is ours to inherit the moment we choose to make His will our choice: "See... the blessing, if you shall hearken unto the commandments of HaShem your G-d..." (ibid 11:27)
Tune in to this week's Temple Talk as Rabbi Chaim Richman and Yitzchak Reuven see the blessing and the curse, discuss the centrality of the land of Israel in G-d's plans for His people, the need to make a daily growing Jewish presence on the Temple Mount central to our plans, and, of course, the latest progress toward the completion of the Brass Laver for the washing of the hand and feet of the priests before performing their duties in G-d's Chosen House.
Next week, Monday, September 1, Rabbi Chaim Richman and Yitzchak Reuven will be in the Beit El studio, as Temple Talk goes completely live! A G-d Great and Awful

"...HaShem your G-d is in the midst of you,
a G-d great and awesome."
(Deuteronomy 7:21)
Av 21, 5768/August 22,2008

The Torah reading of Eikev, (Deuteronomy 7:12-11:25), deals at great length with fear. Concerning fear, today modern scientists confirm what Rebbi Nachman said over two hundred years ago: fear is genetically hard-wired into the human psyche. It is part of our human nature. One who claims utter fearlessness is either a liar or a fool. The issue which both Rebbi Nachman and parashat Eikev discuss is how to direct our fear. We are told:

"If you will say in your heart: 'These nations are more than I; how can I dispossess them?' you will not be afraid of them; remember well what HaShem your G-d did to Pharaoh, and to all of Egypt." (Deuteronomy 7:17-18)

Soon after we are instructed:

"And now, Israel, what does HaShem your G-d require of you, but to fear HaShem your G-d, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve HaShem your G-d with all your heart and with your soul; to keep for your good the commandments of HaShem, and His statutes, which I command you this day?" (Deuteronomy 10:12-13)

The earlier verse seems to be a tall order indeed. Not to fear our enemies? But they are numerous and they are well armed and their hatred for us is seemingly implacable? What is this commandment if not a call for reckless bravado? And how exactly do we rid ourselves of our fears in light of the explosive circumstances in which we find ourselves?

On the other hand, fearing G-d, at first glance, appears magnificently easy to fulfill. A simple internal statement of intent should suffice. And certainly believing in G-d should imply fearing Him.

Yet G-d demands the exact opposite of us. We are to recalibrate how we measure fear, and relearn how we measure up to fear by redirecting our fear to where it serves ourselves and G-d best. To fear G-d is much more than a well intended mental memo. To fear G-d means to be aware of His presence in every moment. It means to be aware that His light surrounds us. And it means to be aware that the light of G-d is within us. But the way in which we manifest this fear in a manner befitting us as G-d's partners in the perfection of creation, is by utilizing this fear, this recognition of G-d's omnipresence to inform all that we do. This is the intention of the instruction: "...fear HaShem your G-d, to walk in all His ways... to keep for your good the commandments of HaShem, and His statutes." (ibid) Fear, awe, becomes for us, not an emotion to run away from or to give in to, but a source of positive spiritual energy which enervates and enables us to see G-d's presence in every deed we do, from the greatest to the least. Every action that we initiate can become a testimony to His presence in this world. This type of fear binds us to G-d, enabling us "to walk in all His ways." (ibid)

Once we have converted our natural capacity for fear into a positive and integral component of our spiritual being and our every action, we will discover that fear can no longer be subject to the mercy of outside forces which seek to sunder us from Him, plunging us into darkness. Fear, it turns out, unchecked and unmastered, will lead us ultimately into the service of those whose aim is ridding this world of G-d's presence. However, by taking fear upon us as a positive commandment, we discover that the true power of fear is to lead us toward G-d.

As Rebbe Nachman concluded: Each individual is granted a certain capacity to fear in his life. One cannot both fear G-d and fear His enemies. By mustering all our fear to the service of G-d, we banish our fear of others.

Tune in to this week's Temple Talk as Rabbi Chaim Richman and Yitzchak Reuven talk about fear and standing before G-d, even when we prepare our morning cup of coffee.

This week's new Light to the Nations teaching by Rabbi Chaim Richman is entitled, "The Chamber of the Priestly Garments: Maimonides' Laws of the Chosen House, chapter five: Eight chambers open into the Court of the Israelites. Two of those chambers, the Griddle Cake Makers Chamber and the Chamber of Pinchas the Haberdasher, straddle either side of the Nikanor Gate located in the eastern wall of the Israelite Court. The Chamber of Pinchas is where the priestly garments were manufactured, stored and distributed to the priests beginning their duty at the Holy Temple." Click here to view.

Work continues apace on the new copper laver being produced by the Temple Institute, and this past Wednesday, (19 Av, 5768/August 20, 2008), an important step forward was taken: the copper keter, or ornamental crown, which will be affixed to the top of the laver, was completed and delivered to the Acco based factory of Shlomo Buchbut, where the laver is being prepared. To read more and see photographs of the ornamental crown, please click here.

Did you ever wonder just what G-d requires? "And now, Israel, what does HaShem your G-d require of you, but to fear HaShem your G-d, to walk in all His ways..." Click here to view Rabbi Richman's short teaching on parashat Eikev (Deuteronomy 7:12-11:25).

Obama to Africa, Biden to Israel

May Afro-centric Obama return to Africa (never forget he faithfully attended a Black Supremacist church for over 20 years at the feet of black racist Jeremiah Wright) where he belongs, and may Joe Biden end his self-imposed exile and become a better Jew by following Judaism to the Jewish Homeland of Israel.
