Anti-Semitic police commander in Jerusalem must go!

Police to Temple Mount Activist: Psychiatrist Must OK Your Entry
by Hillel Fendel

(IsraelNN.com) Yehuda Glick, who has been waging for years a personal and public struggle to guarantee Jewish access to the site of the Holy Temple, has been informed that he must undergo psychiatric treatment before being allowed to enter the site.

Glick, chairman of the Organization for Human Rights on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, has sued the police in the past for their refusal to allow him to ascend to the Temple Mount. The Supreme Court ruled that the police must meet with him and formulate arrangements under which he would be permitted to do so.

However, on Sunday morning, on the eve of the final day of the Passover holiday, Glick arrived at the Mughrabi entrance to the Mount – and was informed by police there that he may not enter. They explained to him that this was the decision of the local police commander. Glick went to the office of the commander, Ofer Shumer, who told him that he had reached the conclusion that “you are not a normal person” and that he could therefore not allow him to enter the Temple Mount until after he undergoes psychiatric treatment.

Asked how long this new decision was to be in force, Shumer said, “This is my decision, period.” Shumer turned down Glick’s repeated requests to have the decision put in writing.

Glick later expressed sorrow that the police had “descended to such a level,” adding that “instead of enabling Jews to exercise their legal rights to enter the Temple Mount, and instead of investing their resources to fight against Muslim violence there, the police choose to take the easy route by fighting against those who observe the law and engage in petty vengeance against those who fight for Jewish rights to visit the holy site.”

What part of TEMPLE Mount doesn't Shumer understand? He obviously struggles with serious issues and insults every Jew and the memory of every Jew who prayed to return to Zion and who pray for the Temple daily. Sounds like Shumer belongs back in Bolshevik Russia where they persecuted folks of faith. Such an insensitive person has no business occupying the position of police commander and should be given no quarter to defile Jerusalem with his disturbing anti-Semitism.

I'm reminded of the book - Hannah Senesh: Her Life and Diary, that included this interesting observation: "When anyone in Hungary spoke of Zionism five or even two years ago, Jewish public opinion condemned him as a traitor of Hungary, laughed at him, considered him a mad visionary, and under no circumstances heard him out."

Thank God that the few Zionists were able to transcend the bitter criticism of the short-sighted majority! Thank God that such "mad" visionaries saw their dream become a reality: a Jewish Homeland! Likewise, the Third Temple will soon be a reality and those who hatefully oppose Bible-believers will be history!

Dangerous Ideas?
During my brief appearance before Israel's High Court, the prosecution charged that I hold "dangerous ideas." I suppose the short-sighted prosecution would ban the Bible if he could since it contains the "dangerous ideas" that millions believe in! What are those "dangerous ideas?"

Jews Must Demand Rights to Temple Mount
During a 1995 Root and Branch lecture in Jerusalem, Professor Nahum Rakover, author and then Deputy Attorney General of Israel, publicly agreed with me that it isn't illegal for Christians or Jews to pray upon the Temple Mount, even though it is forcibly prevented by the police.

House of Prayer For All Peoples?
Jewish guards prevent Christians and Jews from exercising their religious right to pray on the Temple Mount? That's right! Only Muslims have unlimited access to Judaism's most holy site. Only the Koran is permitted within. The Tanach (Jewish Scripture, known to much of the world as the "Old Testament") and Christian Scriptures (the New Testament) are forbidden. Yet Israel claims to respect the religious rights of all people.

J'lem posters call for 3rd Temple

By ABE SELIG

Posters leaving out Al Aksa mosque plastered on buses with e. Jerusalem routes.

While tensions continue to simmer around the Temple Mount after riots in and around the capital’s Old City earlier this month, a new campaign calling for the construction of the Third Temple atop the holy site has made its way to the sides of 200 Egged buses in the city, which now sport posters featuring a picture of a rebuilt temple on the Mount, and nothing else.

The posters, which contain the phrase, “May the Bais Hamikdosh [holy temple] be rebuilt speedily and within our days,” were sponsored by the Our Land of Israel group, which is led by Rabbi Shalom Dov Volpo and activist Baruch Marzel, leave out the site’s current structures – namely the the Aksa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock.

The campaign’s organizers chose to plaster the posters on buses whose routes take them through predominately Arab neighborhoods of east Jerusalem.

With regards to the campaign, Volpo said Israel is waiting breathlessly for the coming of the messiah and the rebuilding of the temple.

“The Arabs and President Obama know that the Temple will be built on the Temple Mount,” he said. “Instead of the temporary buildings that are there today.”

Speaking to The Jerusalem Post on Sunday, Marzel said it was no mistake that the Islamic shrines were left out of the picture...

Both the Bible and history reveal Jerusalem's holiest site is the TEMPLE Mount, not the mosque hill. It's past time the Jews and Israelis prove they're serious about their claims to a united Jerusalem forever and remove the foreign objects that presently pollute and occupy the Temple Mount and build the Third Temple.

The Temple Mount is meant to host the "House of Prayer for All Peoples" who seek to worship the God of Jacob.

Let the Zionists reclaim Judaism's holiest site and stake their claim to Jerusalem by removing the Arab threat and restore the Temple Mount as the Temple Mount.

Will the pope act like Belshazzar or Cyrus?
Will Rome learn from history and receive instruction from the Bible or harden their hearts and be destroyed like pharaoh and Babylon?

A House of Prayer For All Peoples?
Jewish guards prevent Christians and Jews from exercising their religious right to pray on the Temple Mount? That's right! Only Muslims have unlimited access to Judaism's most holy site. Only the Koran is permitted within. The Tanach (Jewish Scripture, known to much of the world as the "Old Testament") and Christian Scriptures (the New Testament) are forbidden. Yet Israel claims to respect the religious rights of all people.

Major Upheaval in Israel?
Will an EARTHQUAKE shake Israel to its foundations and rock the world? Would the destruction of the Western/Wailing Wall and the demolition of the "Dome of the Rock" and Al-Aksa mosques—by an ACT OF GOD—serve further notice that it's time to build the Temple?

Third Temple Coming Soon to Jerusalem!
"And let them make me a Sanctuary that I may dwell among them" (Ex. 25:8). This holy command in the Scriptures seems clear enough, so what's the problem? Why has Israel tolerated Jerusalem’s "abomination of desolation" — a Temple Mount without a Temple? Why haven't the religious leaders encouraged the people to do what they can in fulfilling this mitzva?

The Temple of God in Holy Jerusalem
Paul, speaking of the imminent Third Temple, the holy TEMPLE OF GOD (the Temple of God - not just of the Jews or any other conspiracy theory that contradicts Scripture), that Europe's wannabe divine emperor will pollute, coveting it since Satan knows (even if some religious folks don't) it is the TEMPLE OF GOD...

The Issue of the Temple Mount
The common knowledge of our time is that the vast majority of Rabbis of this generation have prohibited the Jewish people from entering the Temple Mount (Har HaBayit), the holiest site in Judaism. The Temple Mount is the site of where the Beit HaMikdash (the Jewish Temple) once stood and the place where the Moslems have erected one mosque, the al-Aqsa and a site of pilgrimage, the Dome of the Rock.

Restore Israeli Sovereignty Over Temple Mount
The Wakf, the militant Muslim authority that oversees Jerusalem's Temple Mount, Judaism's holiest site and Islam's alleged third holiest site (following Mecca and Medina) continue to show blatant disregard for Jewish, Christian and biblical history and non-Muslim sensitivities.

Where's the Temple On the Temple Mount?
Something's missing. Rome is synonymous with the Vatican, Mecca with the Kaaba, and Jerusalem's known for its Western Wall. But why should we stand before the wall, letting it obstruct our vision, when we could be praying in a Temple? Why should Jews continue to bow before an illegitimate Gentile decree that tells them where to pray? (Isaiah 10:1).

The Vatican Must Return the Temple Treasures
The Jews have prayed for 2,000 years to again see the Temple upon the Temple Mount. It's past time for prayers alone: ACTION is necessary to put faith into practice!

G-d Doesn't Listen to Jewish Prayers at the Western Wall
Gershon Salomon warned Israel and its leadership that as long as the shameful situation on the Temple Mount continues, and as long as they do not obey the call of G-d, peace will not come to the land. The enemies of Israel will continue to desire her land and will pressure those in power to divide it. Obedience to the call of G-d will bring peace, all of Israel's enemies will be removed and no one will wish to divide or desire the land.

Why Edward Abington, Jr. Must Be Investigated!
"The American Diplomat in Arafat's Corner," published in The Jerusalem Report, came as no surprise to me. It was referring to Edward Abington, Jr., the United States' former consul general in Jerusalem who is now "guiding the Palestinians through the labyrinths of Washington. And his firm is being paid $2.25 million for his expertise."

Israel's Unjust Deportation of David Ben-Ariel
As a Christian-American member of the Temple Mount Faithful Movement, I had been privileged to participate in their legal demonstrations during my 10-month stay in Jerusalem awaiting dual citizenship. Israeli television often showed me with my Jewish friends carrying Israeli flags throughout the Old City.

Blow Up the Mosques or An Expired Visa?
Once again, an attempt to spread DISinformation about my unjust deportation from Israel, only provides me with another opportunity to clearly state my case and continue to highlight the plight of the Temple Mount suffering under a Nazi-Muslim occupation...

From Toledo to Jerusalem
You could say I have a God-given love for the Jews and the nation of Israel (Isaiah 62:6-7). That sacred bond has been strengthened over the years by the fact that I've been blessed to have lived all over Israel, getting to know its land and people quite well.

American Detained in Jerusalem's Russian Compound
Nobody arrested me. I was detained when I faithfully reported to the police office at 9 a.m. Monday morning, January 9, 1996 (day before my birthday) the day after The Jerusalem Post published on their front page an article shedding light on what they were doing in the dark: "GSS Seeks to Deport American Citizen for Plot to Blow Up Al Aksa Mosque."

Anti-Semitic Israel bans Jewish prayers

No Prayer Permitted on Temple Mount Gates Tour
by Hillel Fendel

The “El Har HaMoriah” (To Mt. Moriah) Institute has finally received police permission to hold a tour around the Temple Mount gates in the Old City – but the restrictions make it nearly unfeasible.

Following protracted negotiations between the Institute and police officials, a meeting was held last week in which the final details were hammered out. The restrictions appear to outweigh the permits, however – and first among the “don’ts” is "Don't pray."

Institute officials sense that the theme of the police permit appears to be the free rein Moslems have in and around the Temple Mount gates, while the Jews must behave as unwanted visitors who must be barely seen or heard. Some groups have banded together to fight this approach; this coming March 16 has been designated "International Temple Mount Awareness Day;" click here for details.
...

“The ban on prayer reflects neither the status quo nor the government decision on Temple Mount prayers, which forbid Jewish prayer only atop the Temple Mount plaza… For instance, at the monthly March Around the Gates, and on Sabbath eves, prayer and song is permitted. In light of this, I would ask you to explain the blanket prayer ban you have imposed, including the legal basis on which it relies – or, alternatively, to rescind the ban.”

The El Har HaMoriyah Institute is not planning to back down on their rights to pray at the Temple Mount gates. “We are not giving up,” Shukri said. “We will begin a publicity campaign to win over public opinion, with the participation of security figures, lawyers, archaeologists, Knesset Members, Cabinet Ministers, and Arab-affairs experts. Many of them have agreed to support our cause in the past…

Israel's woeful neglect of Temple Mount

PM Adds Rachel's Tomb, Cave of Machpelah to Heritage Sites
by Gil Ronen

(IsraelNN.com) Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has added the sites where the Patriarchs and Matriarchs of Israel are buried -- the Cave of Machpelah in Hevron and Rachel's Tomb in Bethlehem -- to the list of heritage sites in which the government intends to invest. The decision appears to be the result of last-minute pressure exerted on Netanyahu from nationalists who could not understand why he left out the very important Biblical Jewish holy sites, while including many Christian sites in the heritage list.

************

This is Netanyahu on record, years ago, and nothing changed under his former administration and nothing has changed under his present administration concerning Israel and world Jewry's woeful neglect of the Temple Mount:

Benjamin Netanyahu: "The right of the Jewish people to its holy place - the Temple Mount - cannot be questioned...I believe it is necessary to arrange for Jewish prayer on the site, especially given that we permit freedom of worship to all the religions in Jerusalem...". And his office charged Palestinian officials with "disparaging Jewish holy sites and threatening potential worshippers" (in flagrant violation of Israel's 1967 Law for the Protection of the Holy Places and the Oslo Accords). His deputy director of communications, Michael Freund, responded to the PA mufti's declaration of war (that Jews "...must absolutely forget about having any rights over the Temple Mount...the Western Wall is just a fence belonging to a Muslim holy site") by saying "these statements are repugnant and they betray a contempt for Judaism's most sacred sites and beliefs. They are an affront to history and insulting to Jews everywhere." - Dangerous Ideas?

I've been unjustly deported from Israel for highlighting the plight of the Temple Mount under Nazi-Muslim occupation and know from personal experience what hypocrites Netanyahu and other Israeli leaders are who blather before the world how Israel guarantees "freedom of access" to religious sites. If anybody thinks otherwise, I challenge you to attempt to worship upon the Temple Mount if you're a Christian or a Jew. You'll quickly discover what I testify is the plain truth!

Israeli police sent on wild-goose chase

My unjust deportation from Israel was undoubtedly due to these chief factors:

1) I received a call (at the Palm Youth Hostel in Jerusalem where I lived and legally worked) from a friend in the United States that "KP" sent him a copy of a letter he reportedly also sent to the Israeli authorities, claiming I was involved in some plot to blow up the mosques to stop the peace process and prepare the way for the Temple; was involved in arms smuggling (distorting my travels through the war-zone of Yugoslavia by train from Germany and visit to South Africa and Zimbabwe, as well as other adventures - thanks to a gracious inheritance from my Hoover grandparents) and that I wasn't Jewish. I told my friend the Israeli police would recognize "KP" was a crackpot and would dismiss his bizarre letter. I wasn't worried about it. (The Toledo-area police and FBI, as well as former members of the Worldwide Church of God who know the individual, were already aware he is disturbed and insanely jealous).

2) Coincidentally, I had an article published in the Traveller newspaper in Jerusalem that included statements of faith the mosques had to go and the Third Temple would be built, consecrated as a House of Prayer for all nations - beliefs shared by millions of Jews and Christians worldwide. I also warned Jews of German-Vatican efforts to undermine Israeli sovereignty over Jerusalem and how they would wage a New Crusade under the guise of peace (which I continue to do to this day). This appears to have thrown fuel on the fires of suspicion the Israeli police had - having been ignited by an inflammatory letter of lies - who were sent on a wild-goose chase by their bitter source.

3) The only time I enjoyed steak in Jerusalem (always at an Argentinian restaurant) was when "Robert," a heroin-addicted, heavily tattooed Italian acquaintance from Sweden (who stayed at the same youth hostel as me outside the Damascus Gate) would have his brother send money ($500 usually) in my name to an Israeli bank for him (he supposedly had some trust fund and said his family was mafia and that he was a professional thief, able to enter expensive homes in Scandinavia to paint murals and then scope them out - and he actually did paint murals for some fashionable stores in Israel), since he lost or sold his passport, and would take me out to eat to show appreciation.

Ironically, "Robert" ended up in the same Russian Compound cell as me (since he had been praying with Muslims on the Temple Mount and they noticed he was drunk) and was later deported with Interpol allegedly awaiting him. He said his mother was Jewish but he hated most Jews and homosexuals but he liked me and one of his brothers was a homosexual. My boss at the youth hostel despised him and wondered how I could like him. An expert forger in our cell, a religious fellow from a rich family who produce cheese in Denmark, said "Bjorn's" descriptions of neighborhoods in Denmark were accurate and that he had seen him in one of the wealthy synagogues there. In hindsight, I can see how this unusual association could raise questions. Truth is stranger than fiction!

"You're coming with us"

"You're coming with us," is what the two undercover agents said as they walked into the hostel where I worked in Jerusalem, Thursday, Jan. 4, 1996 - the day after I told my American friend I wasn't worried. They said they wanted to question me about my visa. I told them they could question me there. I also commented how the office would be closed. They falsely assured my friends that they were only taking me for "an hour of questioning." Katherine, my bewildered co-worker, said she would take over for me.

Once we were outside, another man was waiting next to the car. I wasn't able to return until midnight, after six men finished interrogating me, six and a half hours later! They escorted me back with two Border Patrol Jeeps, one police van, and the car I was in - searched all my personal belongings and left with copies of the Traveller newspaper that contained an article I'd written about Jerusalem's stormy future ("Will Jerusalem Become An International City?").

Walking up the stairs to the police station, a police officer asked, "Why do you want to cause trouble?" I said, "That's what Ahab said to Elijah." He considered it for a second and said, "You're right."

Ironically, like the KGB, they questioned me extensively about my politico-religious beliefs in Jerusalem's Russian Compound. I said, "I thought this was about my visa," which I knew it wasn't since everything was in order. Further irony is that I had been there before with another writer from the Traveller for a story we were working on and later published about their activities, which they informed us were usually dealing with expired tourist visas!

I found it interesting how the police station was filled with beautiful pictures of the Temple Mount compound and said so, and the one police man offered me one of the pictures and I said it wasn't his to give. They all had their mini-tape recorders attached to their belts and know everything I said was true and consistent.

I had to sign the shocking statement: "I understand that the police suspect me of being involved in a conspiracy to damage the mosques." I wrote it out in English since I refused to sign anything in Hebrew.

I maintained the only explosives I'm involved with is the bombshell I've written, Beyond Babylon: Europe's Rise and Fall. I continually referred them to Beyond Babylon, stating that's where my beliefs are on public record, including its biblical call for the Israeli government - not any individual - to remove the mosques that occupy Judaism's holiest site: the Temple Mount. They asked, "What if someone thinks you mean they should do it?" "Then they're stupid," I said. I reminded them how Gershon Salomon and the Temple Mount Faithful have called for the Israeli government to exercise its historic obligation and biblical responsibility in this regard for years - without incident.

Another police officer asked, "Why do you want the Temple built?" I asked, "Isn't it the Temple Mount?" He appeared to have an epiphany.

They told me I was free to go, if I surrendered my American passport and report to them daily, or sit in jail, as they continued their investigation. What a choice! I surrendered my American passport. I did tell the GSS (Shabak/Shin Bet/Israel Security Agency - Israel's Secret Police too often like the former East German Stasi) that I was thankful for the opportunity to clear the air and answer any questions, but hoped when they discovered I'm completely innocent they wouldn't continue to treat me like a criminal, or they would condemn themselves.

"Can't you lay low?"

Mom said, "Can't you lay low?" - when I called her the next day in the United States to let her know what was happening. I told her it was a little late for that, even though my track record in Israel proves I wasn't involved in any alleged plot or attempting to stay off their radar screen with my published letters in the Jerusalem Post (Jerusalem Police Brutality on Tisha B'Av), active participation in Temple Mount Faithful demonstrations (in this Israeli newspaper picture, I'm the one closest to the wall holding the Israeli flag), published articles and letters in the Traveller and attempt to prayerfully read the Bible in peace upon the Temple Mount ("A House of Prayer For All Peoples?") after informing Police Minister Moshe Shahal of my goal and seeking his guarantee of my "freedom of access."

After such a harrowing experience, I contacted reporter Bill Hutman, to shed some light on what they were doing in the dark. After confirming my story with the police, his article appeared Monday, Jan. 8th, on the front page of the Jerusalem Post:

"GSS seeks to deport US citizen for plotting to blow up Al-Aksa Mosque".

It accurately reported I strongly denied the allegations, however "it's no secret that I feel the mosques must go. I've written a book [Beyond Babylon] about it. But I've always stated that is the government's responsibility, not mine."

It also noted I'm a Christian member of the Temple Mount Faithful seeking Israeli citizenship and that the police expressed concern about bringing me to trial, lacking hard evidence, and wanted to simply deport me instead. The Israeli police knew they didn't have a shred of evidence against me other than some hateful letter filled with false accusations that misled them.

When I dutifully reported to Jerusalem's police headquarters, Tuesday morning, Jan. 9th, a day before my 36th birthday, the obviously irritated police kept me and handed me a deportation order - which I refused to sign. I was shocked and hurt they would treat me that way and mentioned for their record, when asked, I considered it unjust.

After this the police took me back to where I lived - in handcuffs - to gather my belongings and threw me in jail! No charges, no arrest, detained in the rotting Russian Compound that former Israeli Supreme Court President Aharon Barak said should be torn down and acknowledged it had "terrible conditions" and pointed out a "considerable percentage" of those detained would never be indicted and others would be proven innocent... They are still innocent people. Many of them will be sent home... there is no separation here of those who are being interrogated and those who have already been indicted and should be moved...".

"The High Court of Justice yesterday rejected a petition by David Ben-Ariel against his imprisonment while awaiting expulsion, after the state said it was prepared to expel him immediately, thereby making further time in jail unnecessary."
The Jerusalem Post, Feb 1st, 1996.

Actually, (chairman of the Temple Mount Faithful ) Gershon Salomon's lawyer for me, Naftali Warzberger, filed the petition appealing to them after the Jerusalem Municipal Court refused to release me and the Supreme Court AGREED it wasn't necessary to have imprisoned me (further PROVING I wasn't dangerous or a threat - see "Still at large!") but since they were going to immediately deport me it was irrelevant. They did deport me after midnight, Friday, Feb. 2nd. They knew it was all politico-religious persecution, and that the wild allegations could NEVER be proven, so they lied and said I had an expired visa (parroted by former Jerusalem Consul General Edward Abington, Jr. to Ohio Representative Marcy Kaptur).

After leaving the courtroom, I lifted up my shackled hands to Israel's state emblem prominently displayed on the wall - a gold menorah in between two gold olive branches - and said to the policemen:

"I'm in these handcuffs, a political prisoner, only because my hope, prayer and dream is for Israel to fulfill what that symbol represents: the Temple and Israel's responsibility to become a light to all nations."

Israel sets date for 2005

When I attempted to return the same year of my unjust deportation (since "Deported" wasn't stamped in my passport) on the eve of Israeli elections, I was detained at the airport and refused entry. In 1997 I petitioned Senator Mike DeWine to inquire about a visa for me and he received an initial reply from Itzhak Oren, Minister for Congressional Affairs, March 7, 1997, that read, in part:

"It is our understanding that Mr. Ben-Ariel will not be granted a tourist visa at this time...The Ministry of the Interior...has made the decision not to grant the visa and does not offer any information behind their decision."

A subsequent letter dated February 26, 1998 from Mr. Oren stated:

"We have been informed that Mr. Ben-Ariel will not be eligible to be granted such a visa until 2005." (Israel sets date for 2005).

Due to personal business, family, friends and extensive travels in the United States of America the Beautiful, I haven't returned to Israel yet to visit the 8 kibbutzim I've served on as a volunteer over the years (due to my God-given love of the Jews), to visit friends and the grave of my Holocaust-survivor/kibbutz mother Miriam Weiss, to see the Holy Land of Israel again God knows I love so much, and especially the most holy site on Earth: the Temple Mount.

Will Israel right the wrong and permit my entry to the Jewish homeland I've visited twelve times since 1980 (as related in "From Toledo to Jerusalem") and let all troubles be in the past? I yearn to return to Zion, and b'ezrat HaShem (with the help of God), it will be "This year in Jerusalem!"

Israeli police forced to uphold law on Temple Mount

Double Joy: Prayer at Temple Mount Before Daughter Weds
by Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu

(IsraelNN.com) Temple Mount activist Yehuda Glick won a seven-month battle on Sunday and prayed at the holy site with his 19-year-old daughter, just hours before she married in a ceremony in Bnei Brak. He told Israel National News they prayed at the site and were escorted by two policemen and another guard.

“According to the law, you can pray on the Temple Mount, but cannot ‘demonstrate’ by moving the body in a fashion that indicates praying or by holding a prayer book,” he explained. “I can stand and move my lips. They are not going to read my lips to know what I am saying.”

Nevertheless, one of the policemen filmed him and his daughter for 20 minutes. Glick revealed that he prayed for the safe release of kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit and American prisoner-for-life Jonathan Pollard. “I also praised the A-lmighty and prayed that all Jews visit the Temple Mount," he added...

The High Court previously accepted Glick’s petition charging police with discrimination, and the justices ordered that he be allowed to visit the Temple Mount. Police refused to honor the order, however, and he filed two more petitions with the court. Finally, two weeks ago, the court set December 26 as a final date for police cooperation.

What a shame that the police have to be forced to follow the law and honor Yehuda Glick's RIGHT to pray upon the Temple Mount! May every Jew follow his holy example and make aliyah to Judaism's holiest site and pray upon the Temple Mount. After all, isn't the Temple Mount to host a House of Prayer for All Peoples? Don't the Prophets foretell all will go up to Jerusalem to learn about the God of Jacob and worship upon the Temple Mount?

After enduring detention for several weeks in Jerusalem's Russian Compound, how well I remember! - I was unjustly deported from Israel for highlighting the plight of the Temple Mount suffering under Nazi Muslim occupation - whose daily discrimination against Jews and Christians is aided and abetted by Israeli police - in an article published in Jerusalem in 1996. Quirky Jews?

Re: I'm not a terrorist

David, are the Temple Mount Faithful the same group Armstrong described as quirky Jews who wanted to rebuild the temple, or was he talking about some other group?

I do remember something about some group of Jews who allegedly came to Mr. Armstrong by night for support and he felt it was political and didn't help. It's sad how some are so far removed from the Promised Land of Israel and fail to remember the Law of Moses - which includes God's command for Israel to build the Temple.

Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995
The United States law called the Jerusalem Embassy Relocation Act of 1995, which passed both houses of Congress by lopsided majorities [Senate by a vote of ...www.palestinefacts.org/pf_1991to_now_jerusalem_embassy_act.php

Regardless of whether or not the American government moves the embassy of the United States to Jerusalem where it belongs, as promised too many times, the most important building we should focus on is the Embassy of the Eternal, the Third Temple, and support those who are dedicated to its construction upon the Temple Mount, the sanctification of Jerusalem and the further consecration of Israel.

Will the Bolsheviks ban the Bible in Israel?

Temple Faithful to Sue Top Cop for Slander
by Gil Ronen

(IsraelNN.com) The Organization for Human Rights at the Temple Mount demanded Thursday that the Attorney General launch a criminal investigation against the Commander of Jerusalem District in the Israel Police, Maj.-Gen. Aharon Franco. In addition, the group's leader, Yehudah Glick, wrote a legal letter to Franco demanding that he apologize before legal measures are taken against him. The group accuses Franco of giving interviews in which he slanderously blamed Jews for riots on the Temple Mount

"I am writing to you in order to direct your attention to severe allegations which were made by you and quoted in your name in the media in recent weeks,” Glick's letter said. It went on to quote a statement cited in a column by veteran journalist Nachum Barnea in the October 9 issue of daily Yediot Acharonot, in which Franco said of the Sukkot riots at the Temple Mount that “the ones who started the mess were publicity-hungry right-wing activists.”

“The advertisement published by these activists on their website,” Franco was quoted as saying, “which called upon multitudes of Jews to ascend to the Temple Mount, gave rise to a cry [by the Muslims] to save Al Aqsa from a Jewish takeover.”

“I have gone over all of the websites I know that deal with the Temple Mount and I did not see even one that called upon multitudes of Jews to ascend to the Temple Mount during the last Sukkot holiday, Glick wrote, adding that Franco's allegations constituted defamation.

The Bible calls upon every Israelite to ascend the Temple Mount, especially during the three major biblical festival seasons of Pesach (Passover), Shavuot (Pentecost) and Sukkot (Tabernacles), the holy days of the God of Jacob-Israel.

Will the Bolsheviks ban the Bible in Israel and accuse it of "incitement" while they continue to reward Nazi Muslim terrorism and refuse to remove the threat and secure Jewish rights of prayer upon the TEMPLE Mount - Judaism's holiest site?

Intolerance on the Temple Mount

Intolerance on the Temple Mount
September 27, 2009
DAVID KIRSHENBAUM, THE JERUSALEM POST

Last week, our synagogue in Beit Shemesh made its annual High Holy Day week visit to the Temple Mount. We began the tradition six years ago when the site was reopened to non-Muslims. During the first three years following the start of the September 2000 war launched against Israel by the Palestinian Authority, Hamas and Hizbullah, the government decided to reward Arab terror by barring all non-Muslims from even setting foot on the Temple Mount.

Visiting the Temple Mount is a schizophrenic experience. When standing there, it is impossible not to be awestruck by the magnitude of where you are and the enormity of the colossal events that took place there. It is on the Temple Mount that both the First and Second Temple stood for nearly 1,000 years, where millions of Jews from all over the Land of Israel and the Diaspora made the three festival pilgrimages and where, according to Jewish belief, the Third Temple, ushering in the days of the messiah, is destined to be built. Throughout history, whenever and wherever Jews were engaged in prayer, they faced Jerusalem. And when in Jerusalem, they pray in the direction of the Temple Mount.

It boggles the mind to imagine your family tree and to consider when the last time anybody in the family line had been on the Temple Mount. Might that ancestor have been one of the survivors of the fighting that took place there prior to the destruction of the Second Temple by the Romans in 70 CE? Might it have been on Shavuot of that year, the final pilgrimage festival celebrated by the Jewish people prior to the destruction?

But now that I was standing in that holiest of places, which generations of Jews for 2,000 years could only dream of visiting, I was forbidden to pray. Simply moving my lips in whispered prayer could be grounds for removal. Why? Because I am a Jew. And only a Muslim can pray on the holiest site in Judaism. A Jew may not.

DURING THE War of Independence in 1948, the Old City of Jerusalem fell to the Jordanians. Nearly 1,500 Jews, including many women and children, were killed. While it was under Jordanian control, dozens of Jewish synagogues, many centuries old, were destroyed and the cemetery on the Mount of Olives, where Jews have been buried for 2,500 years, was desecrated. For 19 years, no Jew was allowed to set foot in the Old City or pray at the Western Wall, the retaining wall of the Temple Mount closest to where the Temples stood.

In June 1967, when Egypt, Syria and Jordan embarked on a war to annihilate the Jewish state, Israel recaptured Jerusalem's Old City. One of the most stirring announcements in Jewish history was the message transmitted from the front during the Six Day War: "The Temple Mount is in our hands."

But then, in a mind-boggling display of attempted appeasement of an enemy that just days before had sought Israel's destruction, defense minister Moshe Dayan decided to allow the Muslim religious council, the Wakf, to retain administrative authority over the Temple Mount. Thus, a truly bizarre and unacceptable situation developed.

Israel has scrupulously upheld Muslim worship at the Aksa Mosque, which was built just off the supposed site of the Temples, even when the site has been used to stone Jewish worshipers at the Western Wall and sermons are delivered calling for the demise of Israel and the US. Nor have Muslim prayer services been banned even in the worst periods of Arab terror attacks. During the just-completed Ramadan, hundreds of thousands of Arabs prayed at al-Aksa and held nighttime picnics on the Temple Mount breaking their fast. The garbage and leftover food items we saw strewn over the Temple Mount during our visit was appalling.

But in glaring contrast, Israel has, for the past 43 years, failed to challenge the Muslim ban on Jewish worship on the Temple Mount. On our visit, the number of Jews allowed up at one time was severely limited, we were checked for any religious items, which cannot be brought onto the Temple Mount by a Jew, and we were warned by the police not to even whisper a prayer.

THE STATUS quo is woefully offensive and intolerable. Never mind that at no time during the lengthy Muslim control over much of the Middle East did the Muslims ever designate Jerusalem as an imperial capital or even as a provincial or subprovincial capital. Even if we choose to overlook this very relevant history, the pattern of Islamic religious imperialism, exemplified by the Wakf's contemptible conduct on the Temple Mount, must not be ignored.

The problem is not simply that the Arabs have attempted to take as their own every site in Israel holy to Judaism, whether it be the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron, Rachel's Tomb in Bethlehem or Joseph's Tomb in Nablus. But in doing so, they have consistently attempted to obliterate the historic Jewish connection and claim to each of those sites.

In the same manner, in the years following the Oslo Accords and Israel's withdrawal from Bethlehem, a concerted policy by the Palestinian Authority to Islamicize the city and terrorize the Christian population resulted in a reduction in the percentage of Christians living there from 60 percent to less than 15% today.

We pay a terrible price when we close our eyes to the trampling of human rights and religious freedom out of fear of enraging the Muslim world. The Temple Mount is a huge area. It is the length of nearly five football fields north to south, and nearly three football fields east to west. It is certainly large enough to accommodate the ancient call of the prophet Isaiah recited in fervent prayer by Jews on Yom Kippur: "My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations."

The sooner we take action to help bring this about, the better.

Remove the mosques and sweep away Muslim lies!

Re: Chief Palestinian justice: Temples never existed

"Chief Palestinian justice" Sheik Taysir Tamimi can foam at the mouth against the biblical and historical facts that Jerusalem was and is Jewish, hosted two temples of the God of Israel, and will soon be graced with the Third Temple upon the TEMPLE Mount, but reality remains.

What an ironic twist that a leader of a fictitious Palestinian people, would unjustly pervert and corrupt the historical and biblical records to promote Nazi Muslim propaganda!

The same demon dogs have barked against the Jewish homeland since Israel was created in 1948, often denying its reality, living the lie their idolatrous Islamoonie religion incites against the plain truth and facts on the ground.

Israel must remove the filthy mosques that occupy the Temple Mount and sweep away Nazi Muslim lies and prepare for the Third Temple, as God's Word and Will demands.

Mosques occupying the Temple Mount is unnatural and will soon be corrected

Jewish prayers on Temple Mount 'a violation of international law'

Taking their misinterpretation of international law to new heights, the Arab League this week accused the Jews of Israel of violating the rules that govern global behavior by praying atop Jerusalem's Temple Mount.

The incident occurred on Sunday, when the head of the Temple Institute led a small group of Jewish tourists atop the Temple Mount. Israeli police at the site forbid non-Muslims from praying there or making any kind of outward religious gestures, such as kneeling or bowing.

But the Temple Institute told Israel National News that the group managed to hold a very brief prayer session without being detected.

After reading about the Jewish prayers at Judaism's holiest site, Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa called them "a serious blow to the holiness of the site."

Moussa insisted that under international law, Jews and Christians are forbidden from praying atop the Muslim-controlled Temple Mount.

************
Amr Moussa's comments reflect a Luciferian mind where black is white and white is black and good is evil and evil is good!

The Word of the Lord rebukes Amr Moussa's madness:

Isaiah 5:20
20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Contrary to the troubled mind and deceived spirit of Amr Moussa, it is the Arab defilement of Judaism's holiest site that constitutes "a serious blow to the holiness of the site."

The Nazi Muslim occupation of the Temple Mount is an abomination! The woeful neglect of both Jewish and Israeli political and religious leaders, who have enabled this deplorable situation where the religious rights of Christians and Jews are trampled daily, must end!

Thankfully, the Word and Will of God reveals the pagan mosques will soon be history! The Temple Mount must be restored as the Temple Mount.

The Temple Mount Faithful, the Temple Institute, and Christian Zionists testify and announce: The Third Temple will grace the Temple Mount and it will become a House of Prayer for all peoples.

Isaiah 56:6-8
6 “ Also the sons of the foreigner
Who join themselves to the LORD, to serve Him,
And to love the name of the LORD, to be His servants—
Everyone who keeps from defiling the Sabbath,
And holds fast My covenant—
7 Even them I will bring to My holy mountain,
And make them joyful in My house of prayer.
Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices
Will be accepted on My altar;
For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”

The Ezekiel Temple

The Ezekiel Temple
by Jan Willem van der Hoeven,
Director International Christian Zionist Center

Fully eight chapters in the book of Ezekiel have been dedicated to this beautiful structure, a temple which has yet to be built in Jerusalem. Surely this is a measure of the tremendous importance the Scriptures attach to it.

Apart from these final chapters in Ezekiel, we find the temple mentioned elsewhere in Scripture - in Zechariah, in The Revelation, and in 2 Thessalonians, to name a few.

Despite the importance, which the Bible thus attaches to this matter, there remains among believers a tremendous lack of interest in, or understanding of, the importance of this new temple that will one day, in the not too distant future, be raised up on the Temple Mount.

There are different reasons for this lack of understanding:

Many believers see the next temple only as the Jewish temple in which the Antichrist will be seated for a while, and therefore view it in a rather negative light.

Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. (2 Thessalonians 2: 3,4)

And there is the belief, which is of course correct in itself, that today's temple of God is not made by human hands, but is formed out of those who truly believe - living stones put together for a habitation unto God in these days.

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone, in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. (Ephesians 2:19-22)

Furthermore, we know that not only the body of believers, but the body of the Lord Himself is seen in Scripture as the temple of God, as Jesus thus referred to His own body when He said:

"Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." (John 2:19)

Then the Jews said, "It has taken 46 years to build this temple, and will you raise it up in three days?" BUT HE WAS SPEAKING OF THE TEMPLE OF HIS BODY. (John 2:20,21)

It is for these reasons, among others, that despite the eight chapters Ezekiel dedicates to the subject of the future temple, many Christian believers have shown little regard for, or comprehension of, this temple. The fact that Ezekiel's narrative includes the revival of the sacrificial rites makes it all the more complicated for many believers, holding to the belief, as they rightly do, that after Jesus' sacrifice there is no longer a need for other sacrifices. And this is something the author of the epistle to the Hebrews clearly points out.

What, then, should our attitude be towards this beautiful description of the temple contained in Ezekiel's book?

We certainly do not get the impression that something negative is being presented here - like the temple of the Anti-Christ, or 'poor Jews' going back to the sacrificial rites, when we know that there is no longer any need for such offerings: Jesus having died on the cross as the final sacrifice for our sins.

And as it is quite clearly not something negative that the prophet is presenting us with here, we do well to give full credit to God's clearly written Word, and to ponder on what the purpose and meaning of all this is supposed to be.

If we see that the tabernacle of Moses is a forerunner to the temple later built by David's son Solomon, it becomes clear just how large and important a place this subject fills in the Scriptures. For just as there are eight chapters in Ezekiel describing in the minutest detail the structure of the temple, so too are there many chapters in the Bible describing, in similar, painstaking detail, the building and erection of the tabernacle. Later, numerous chapters deal with the preparation for, and building and dedication of, Solomon's temple. And again, equally as many chapters in the books of Ezra, Nehemiah and Haggai describe the events leading up to the building of the second temple by Zerubbabel.

This great weight of Scripture surely indicates the tremendous importance which the tabernacle and later the temple, have in the Scriptures, and also in the writings of the prophets who clearly indicate the time that is coming when the temple, the third temple this time, assuredly will be built again.

Therefore it is important for us to discover, even in this study, what is the significance and importance of the Ezekiel temple, if Jesus Himself, and the body of His believers, is the temple of God; and if His sacrifice on the cross is the final sacrifice for all time.

In order for us to fathom this, we need to go back to the days of the New Testament, and especially to Jesus' relation to "His Father's house", as He called the temple that Herod had worked for 46 years to beautify and restore. This, by the way, was also the temple that had been defiled some years in advance of Jesus' coming by Antiochus Epiphanes - the man often seen as a type, or forerunner, of the Antichrist.

"Antiochus commanded an altar to be built on the Temple Mount and then ordered pigs to be sacrificed on it," writes Hoddenbagh in his book The Divine Plan (pages 201 and 202).
Thus it was this temple, that Herod had beautified and Antiochus greatly defiled, that Jesus called "My Father's house". And He did so even though He, Himself, was the temple, and was far more holy than any temple built by human hands.

This is an extremely important point, especially in regard to the temple or House of God that yet must be built in Jerusalem on God's holy hill.

For if Jesus can still call the temple beautified by Herod and desecrated by Antiochus the house of His Father, then the third temple, even if it is seized upon by the Antichrist for a short period, still will be called the house of God. This can be seen in the second epistle of Paul to the Thessalonians, when he writes:

Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God IN THE TEMPLE OF GOD (note, not the temple of the Beast), showing himself that he is God.
(2 Thessalonians 2: 3,4)

Therefore, just as the second temple, beautified by Herod and defiled by Antioch remained, to Jesus' mind, the temple of God, so too will the third temple, even though desecrated by the man of sin, remain and be called the temple of God!

It would be good to relate here from different New Testament passages the respect that Jesus bore towards this house of His father. We see one account in the lovely story related by Luke of Jesus as a boy:

And when He was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the feast (of Passover). When they had finished the days, as they returned, the Boy Jesus lingered behind in Jerusalem. And Joseph and His mother did not know it; … Now so it was that after three days they found Him in the temple, … So when they saw Him, they were amazed; … And He said to them, "Why did you seek Me? DID YOU NOT KNOW THAT I MUST BE ABOUT MY FATHER'S BUSINESS?" (Luke 2: 42, 43, 46, 48, 49 NKJ)

This is an amazing passage about the importance Jesus still attached to His Father's house, even though it had been defiled. And what a wonderful illustration of biblical balance, that although He could have belittled the importance of this temple because of the rightful claim He could make to being the temple Himself, He did not do so. Instead, as we shall see from the next example, He honoured His Father's house.

It was during another Passover Feast, John tells us, that Jesus again went up to the temple in Jerusalem:

Now the Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. And He found in the temple those who sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the moneychangers doing business. When He had made a whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple … And He said to those who sold doves, "Take these things away! Do not make My Father's house a house of merchandise!" Then His disciples remembered that it was written, "Zeal for Your house has eaten Me up." (John 2: 13, 14, 15, 16, 17)

If some of us are honest in this respect we would not have expected the Lord to call a building made from stone His Father's house. And yet, this is what we find in the Scriptures.

Some may retort that all this took place before He brought the final sacrifice in His body on the cross - when, as the Gospels relate, the curtain of the temple was torn asunder from top to bottom. Now we live in the time after those events, these people may say - after the crucifixion of Jesus and His resurrection. And, after all, isn't the fact that this temple was then destroyed by Titus in AD 70 proof that it was no longer important to believers in the Lord Messiah, who Himself became the temple, the High Priest, and the sacrifice, thus fulfilling it all? And isn't this exactly what Jesus said in His conversation with the Samaritan woman, when He prophesied about the time to come?

"But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him…Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father." (John 4: 23,24)

This verse is often used to explain away any need for another temple in which God will be worshipped, even at a later stage. But the fact is that in the Greek this oft-quoted passage of Scripture leaves this interpretation wide open.

When Jesus says "neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem" the Greek word does not signify a total negation. Rather, it means "the hour is coming that not only on this mountain nor only in Jerusalem", so that the possibility exists that God will one day again being worshipped - also in spirit and truth - on Jerusalem's Temple Mount!

And that this is apparently the case is seen in the passage in The Revelation to John, where worship is definitely again associated with the future temple in Jerusalem:

And the angel stood, saying, "Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, AND THOSE WHO WORSHIP THERE. (Revelation 11:1)

Then the point is often raised about the re-introduction of sacrifices, which seems to stand in conflict with the New Testament teaching of the finality of the sacrifice that our Lord became for us -- and for the sins of the whole world. What, then, do we do with the sacrifices mentioned in Ezekiel's prophecy concerning the temple? (See Hebrews 9: 24-28)

No one is denying the finality of our Lord's sacrifice on the cross – not those who fail to see a great need for rebuilding the temple, nor those who see the need. Here, all true believers unite in the realisation of the truth of the words of the author to the Hebrews:

For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; not that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood of another-He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgement, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. (Hebrews 9: 24-28)

But does it follow that there can thus never be a time when the sacrifices will again be part and parcel of the service of worship to God in the new temple? This is the question we need to ask ourselves. And on this point the Bible does give a clear and unequivocal answer:

There will come a time, during the new temple period, when sacrifices will be offered again. It says so in Ezekiel, and it is also mentioned by Daniel, when he speaks of the evil ruler - "the little horn" - to come, by whom the daily sacrifices will be taken away, and the place of His sanctuary will be cast down (Daniel 8:11). This surely implies not only a rebuilt temple towards the end of time, but also a reinstitution of the daily sacrifices!

This fact of the reinstitution of the sacrifices, even sin sacrifices - albeit for awhile - does not mean a cancellation of the finality of Jesus' sacrifice for sins, just as the continuation of those sacrifices in the temple until AD 70 never pointed to a cancellation of the finality of that sacrifice. These were sacrifices that even the Apostle Paul participated in, as is seen from the account in Acts 21:23-26!

If God could live with this fact of continued sacrifices and sin offerings in the as yet un-destroyed second temple after the sacrificial death of His Son, can we not live with such renewed sacrifices during the period of the third temple?

And just as the sacrifices in the days of Moses' tabernacle and the two temples were a mere fore-shadowing of the sacrifice God would make of His Son - can the sacrifices that will be held in Ezekiel's temple not equally be pointers back to that wonderful gift that He gave?

In the same way: If Jesus was not loathe to come to His Father's house in the days of His flesh - even though it had been defiled by a forerunner of the man of sin - why should He not come suddenly to the temple that is to be built on His holy hill?

God came in His shekinah glory and visitation to Solomon's temple after it was built. Through Christ He came to the second temple built by Zerubbabel. Why, then, should He not come to the third temple once it has been built, as stated in Ezekiel 43?

"…And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight. Behold, He is coming," says the LORD of hosts. "But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fire and like launderer's soap. … He will purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to the LORD an offering in righteousness. Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem will be pleasant to the LORD, AS IN THE DAYS OF OLD, AS IN FORMER YEARS." (Malachi 3: 1-4)

What an amazing Scripture! And in Ezekiel we read a nearly identical passage:

And behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east. His voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shone with His glory. … And the glory of the LORD came into the temple by way of the gate which faces toward the east. The Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the glory of the LORD filled the temple. …
And He said to me, "Son of man, this is the place of My throne and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel forever. …
"Son of man, describe the temple to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the pattern. …Write it down in their sight, so that they may keep its whole design and all its ordinances, and perform them.
"This is the law of the temple: The whole area surrounding the mountaintop shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the temple."
(Ezekiel 43: 2, 4-5, 7, 10, 11, 12)

With these beautiful and forceful words the words of the Psalms agree:

Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against His Anointed … "Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion." (Psalm 2:1,2,6)

And:

Let us go into His tabernacle; let us worship at His footstool. Arise, O LORD, to Your resting place, you and the ark of Your strength. Let Your priests be clothed with righteousness, and let Your saints shout for joy.

For the LORD has chosen Zion; he has desired it for His dwelling place: "This is My resting place forever; here I will dwell, for I have desired it."
(Psalm 132: 7,8,13,14)

Pray for the Holy City of Jerusalem!

Matthew 24:15
“Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand),

Daniel, a prophet, knew Jerusalem is still holy in these latter days, and refers to it as such:

Daniel 11
41He [the King of the North] shall also enter the Glorious Land

45 And [the King of the North] shall plant the tents of his palace between the seas and the glorious holy mountain

Daniel 12
9 And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.

Apparently some who read this read right over "the HOLY place" Yeshua spoke of in reference to Daniel and fail to understand that Jerusalem, especially the Temple Mount, remains holy - having been sanctified, set apart, to ultimately fulfill their God-given purpose. The pagan Gentiles forgot this principle when they abused the holy Temple vessels in the Book of Daniel and paid dearly for it.

The Holy Spirit of God before and after Yeshua's death and resurrection inspired holy men to continue to refer to Jerusalem as holy, still sanctified by God, even if presently it's sinful (just like our human flesh even though God's Spirit dwells within us without being perfect):

Matthew 4:5
Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple,

Matthew 27:53
and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.

Revelation 11:2
But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months.

Jerusalem, like every other major city, is filled with sin (Rev. 11:8). But unlike every other major city, Jerusalem alone has been sanctified. We are to pray for Jerusalem to fulfill it's calling - not self-righteously turn our backs on it like the hateful Nazi Muslims!

Isaiah 62
1 For Zion's sake I will not keep silent,
for Jerusalem's sake I will not remain quiet,
till her righteousness shines out like the dawn,
her salvation like a blazing torch.

6 I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem;
they will never be silent day or night.
You who call on the LORD,
give yourselves no rest,
7 and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem
and makes her the praise of the earth.

Satan hates the heavenly Jerusalem and the earthly Jerusalem that is a reflection of it! God's People aren't to exhibit Satan's hostile attitude toward Jerusalem or the Temple Mount like those whose vain opposition will melt away, but that of Isaiah who loves and prays for Jerusalem to fulfill its awesome calling to become the City of our God, the City of Gold character and righteousness.

That's why I pray facing Jerusalem every night and end my prayers with the plea, "Yerushalayim shel zahav" (Jerusalem of Gold),

For Zion's sake,

The EU's Document of Death to Israel

To get a glaring glimpse of the increasingly murderous hatred, bigotry and disgusting bias against Jews and Israelis regarding the biblical city of Jerusalem (the fact Jerusalem is mentioned over 600 times in the Jewish Bible and not even once in the Koran speaks volumes), woeful ignorance at best, read this putrid portion of the EUOBSERVER document on Jerusalem:

EU heads of mission report on East Jerusalem

VII. RELIGIOUS FREEDOM

46. As described above, Christians and Muslims living east of the Separation Barrier/ wall are increasingly unable to reach their holy sites in East Jerusalem. Permits are only granted in limited numbers on the occasion of great celebrations. In addition, males under the age of 45, even if they can get into Jerusalem, are seldom allowed onto the Haram Al-Sharif compound in the old city (a site considered the third holiest in Islam). Indeed, Israel effectively exercises a veto on who enters the compound. Cameras have been placed at the entrance of the other gates to the Haram Al-Sharif, pointing inwards towards the compound, and Israeli Security personnel are stationed at the entrance to all of the gates determining who is granted access. In addition, by their control of the Mughrabi gate, Israel imposes an unregulated influx of tourists on the Haram without prior negotiation with the Waqf, the Jordanian Islamic authority with jurisdiction over the compound.

As a Christian who was forcibly denied my religious rights upon the Temple Mount by Nazi Muslims aided and abetted by Israeli authorities, who was denied my religious right to pray upon the Temple Mount on our holy Sabbath day and biblical festival by Nazi Muslims aided and abetted by Israeli authorities, and was denied my religious right to read the Bible upon the sacred site of the holy temples of the God of Israel by Nazi Muslims aided and abetted by Israeli authorities, as the Jewish Bible and Greek New Testament testify graced Jerusalem (contrary to Nazi Muslim lies), I take great umbrage at the EU's distorted version and partial view of this issue of religious freedom! Let them read A House of Prayer for All Peoples? and be ashamed.

Apparently it hasn't occurred to the EU that those Arab males under 45 who are "seldom" enabled to visit the Temple Mount seldom do so without rioting and inciting violence and murder against Jews, Israelis and Americans.

Why does the EU express concern for Muslim religious rights, when Judaism's holiest site, the Temple Mount, allegedly Islam's third holiest site (although Jerusalem is never mentioned once in the Koran), is off-limits to religious Jews to pray or worship upon, even on the biblical Jewish festivals? This is especially grievous in light of the fact that the Bible reveals the God of Israel commands Jews and Israelites to ascend His holy hill and worship Him there on His holy days, as well as righteous Gentiles.

The EU's miserable failure to truly respect biblical Christian and Jewish religious rights upon the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, as well as their vain attempts to ignore or dismiss Jewish biblical claims to the Promised Land of Israel - while advocating and pontificating for "Palestinians" - raises legitimate concerns that their document of destruction is akin to Fatah and Hamas and other terrorist organization's charters that seek Israel's phased destruction.

The EU's document of death to Israel is simply another political attempt to drive a stake into the heart of Israeli sovereignty over Jerusalem, Europe's New Crusade, a concerted effort by those obsessed with an agenda to drive out the Jews from East Jerusalem, and invoke UN Resolution 181 as the FINAL SOLUTION, leaving the German-Jesuit EU in control of the coveted holy city.

The Two Witnesses

Will the Church of God Welcome the Two Witnesses?
Church of God minister Arlen Berkey, in "The Work of God in the Laodicean Era," makes a statement nobody in God's Church would disagree with: "The whole world will soon know about the two witnesses. They will not be welcome by this world."

The Two Witnesses of Revelation 11
The Two Witnesses of Revelation 11. Who are these two prophets? What do they have to say? Why are they called the two witnesses? How will their message be proclaimed? And is there any special significance to the fact that they're headquartered in Jerusalem?

Two Witnesses to Testify in Jerusalem Against Europe
Two controversial figures, referred to in the Book of Revelation as two witnesses, two olive trees, two candlesticks and two prophets, will boldly declare GOD'S JUDGMENTS and proclaim the LORD'S CONTROVERSY (Micah 3:8; 6:1-2), delivering a BLISTERING MESSAGE and a SCORCHING CONDEMNATION -- just before NUCLEAR FIRE AND BRIMSTONE RAINS DOWN upon those who've rejected GOD'S ULTIMATUM (Isaiah 41:27; 30:27).

Chag Hanukkah Sameach!
