The “El Har HaMoriah” (To Mt. Moriah) Institute has finally received police permission to hold a tour around the Temple Mount gates in the Old City – but the restrictions make it nearly unfeasible.

Following protracted negotiations between the Institute and police officials, a meeting was held last week in which the final details were hammered out. The restrictions appear to outweigh the permits, however – and first among the “don’ts” is "Don't pray."

Institute officials sense that the theme of the police permit appears to be the free rein Moslems have in and around the Temple Mount gates, while the Jews must behave as unwanted visitors who must be barely seen or heard. Some groups have banded together to fight this approach; this coming March 16 has been designated "International Temple Mount Awareness Day;" click here for details.

“The ban on prayer reflects neither the status quo nor the government decision on Temple Mount prayers, which forbid Jewish prayer only atop the Temple Mount plaza… For instance, at the monthly March Around the Gates, and on Sabbath eves, prayer and song is permitted. In light of this, I would ask you to explain the blanket prayer ban you have imposed, including the legal basis on which it relies – or, alternatively, to rescind the ban.”

The El Har HaMoriyah Institute is not planning to back down on their rights to pray at the Temple Mount gates. “We are not giving up,” Shukri said. “We will begin a publicity campaign to win over public opinion, with the participation of security figures, lawyers, archaeologists, Knesset Members, Cabinet Ministers, and Arab-affairs experts. Many of them have agreed to support our cause in the past…

Due to personal business, family, friends and extensive travels in the United States of America the Beautiful, I haven't returned to Israel yet to visit the 8 kibbutzim I've served on as a volunteer (due to my God-given love of the Jews), to visit the grave of my holocaust-survivor/kibbutz mother Miriam Weiss, to see the Holy Land of Israel God knows I love so much, and especially the most holy site on Earth: the Temple Mount. In God's good time I shall return, as we're assured by the words of the Prophet: Zion shall be redeemed with justice.

(IsraelNN.com) National Union Knesset Member Dr. Ben-Ari is urging Israeli mayors and regional council leaders memorialize Rabbi Meir Kahane on November 15, the Hebrew date when he was murdered in New York 19 years ago.

Rabbi Kahane, the New York-born founder of the now illegal Kach movement, was murdered by an Egyptian-born American in New York in 1990 after a speech in which he warned American Jews to move to Israel before it was “too late” to escape a second Holocaust.”

He founded the Jewish Defense League (JDL) in New York, which attracted Jews to fight anti-Semitic attacks, and he was the founder of the Kach movement. He was elected to the Knesset after making Aliyah [moving to Israel], but the legislature banned the party from the legislature in 1988 and outlawed it six years later.

MK Ben-Ari reminded Israel leaders that the JDL encouraged Jews to stand up for their rights and defeat anti-Semitism. Rabbi Kahane also was active in the struggle to open the gates for ‘Refuseniks,” Jews in the former Soviet Union, during the era of prohibitions to observe Jewish laws and leave the country for Israel.

“The State of Israel memorializes political leaders from a wide spectrum” and should include Rabbi Kahane, who “acted for the good of the people and the country,” MK Ben-Ari stated.

This week's Torah reading of Beshalach begins with the children of Israel, fugitive slaves on the run, just one step ahead of their oppressors and pursuers, the all powerful Pharaoh and his invincible army of horsemen and chariots. By the time Beshalach concludes, the children of Israel are no longer fleeing for their lives, but a new and free nation on a rendezvous with G-d. When and where did this transformation take place?

In the previous chapters of the book of Exodus we witness G-d's omnipotent "efforts" on behalf of the sons and daughters of Israel. Plague by plague He devastates the nation of Egypt. Pharaoh's ego, his profoundly exaggerated big-as-the-Nile sense of self-importance, not only invites disaster upon Egypt, but places himself in a no-win situation. He orders the Israelites out of his country, and in the morning, reversing his decision, sets out to bring them back.
It is fair to say that the ten blows that G-d has dealt Egypt, that have wreaked havoc on her waters, ravaged her fields and orchards, laid waste her livestock, and plucked from her mothers and fathers the first fruits of their loins, have, after all is said and done, accomplished nothing. As was the case after each of the plagues, Pharoah wrestled with a moment of doubt only to quickly redouble his obstinacy.

Now the Israelites find themselves with the Sea of Reeds to their east, and to the west the armies of Pharaoh. Understandably, predictably perhaps, they falter. Accusations are hurled at Moses. The call to give up and return to slavery is heard in their encampments. Others speak of a last stand, a suicidal attempt to militarily repulse the most powerful army on earth. Still others invest their efforts in prayer: Perhaps G-d can be entreated upon to come to their aid just one more time.

G-d Himself addresses His children, calling upon them to rouse themselves from their lethargy, shake themselves of their fears, and do what needs to be done:

"And HaShem said to Moses: 'Why are you crying to Me? speak to the children of Israel, that they go forward." (Exodus 14:15)

Just as a father, at just the right moment, will let go of the handlebars, knowing that his young bicycle riding child is now ready to navigate forward on his own, G-d commands His children to take leave of the comforts of the familiar, and to set forth on their own. Yes, what lies ahead is unknown, and the unknown is frightening. But it is our faith in His love that drives us onward. On the other side, on the western bank of the Sea of Reeds, free at last, and free forever of Pharaoh and his terror, the children of Israel march on, a new nation. Having let go of G-d's hand, as it were, by taking the initiative, by making the move that had to be made, they now find themselves more ensconced in His embrace then ever before.

The Song of the Sea, the exhilarating declaration of independence from earthly servitude and allegiance to G-d, marks the departure from the past, and sounds the opening strains of the future:

"You shall bring them and plant them on the mount of Your inheritance, the place, HaShem, which You have made for You to dwell in, the sanctuary, O L-rd, which Your hands have established." (Exodus 15:17)

The planting metaphor aptly echoes the theme of sublime faith in G-d. Anyone who has ever planted a seed in the earth knows that without an unbreakable, unshakeable faith in the benevolence of Heaven, accompanied by persistent watering and pulling of weeds, nothing of worth will burst forth from the ground.

When we express our faith fearlessly in G-d, through our positive actions to fulfill His will for us, His corresponding faith in us becomes a refrain to our endeavors. With faith and with persistence of effort, His promise to us, the establishment of His sanctuary in Jerusalem, the mountain of His inheritance, will become a reality.

The Temple Mount Faithful Feast of Tabernacles Celebration - 5769/2008

In the midst of a critical time of redemption in Israel -- and during a very complicated time of trouble all over the world, the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement held one of its most exciting events in its campaign to build the Third Temple in our lifetime. Now, more than any other time in the past, our materialistic generation needs the G-d of Israel to dwell in the midst of our daily lives. This generation needs the light of G-d to shine into the darkness that is now spreading to the four corners of the earth. As was prophesied through the prophets of Israel, G-d chose this time to bring about His plans with Israel in order to begin the endtime redemption of the entire world.

In a time when so many people in the world are searching and seeking after materialistic achievements and serving the "Golden Calf", the Faithful Movement has been involved in intensive endtime activities. We have been seeking the spirit, the morals, the values and the word of the G-d of Israel. We have been demonstrating for the rebuilding of His Holy House in Jerusalem and for the coming of Mashiach Ben David in our lifetime.

This most recent event took place on Thursday, 17 Tishrei 5769/October 16, 2008, during the Feast of Succoth -- the Feast of Tabernacles.

The Succoth Festival is one of the most exciting holidays in the life of Israel. It is one of the three festivals during which G-d commanded Israel to make a pilgrimage to Jerusalem, to His Holy Temple. He called Israel to come that they would know His love for His people, and that they would show their love to Him. In this festival G-d calls His people to be filled with joy in the land that He gave them in an eternal covenant. As we marched to the Temple Mount on this day, we felt the Spirit of G-d covering us with great love. We felt like we were in heaven when we walked on the Holy Ground, the most holy place in all the world. This is the same place where Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, King David, King Solomon and all the prophets of Israel, along with many millions of Israelites, walked to show their love to their Father G-d. This is also the festival during which King Solomon completed the building of the First Temple. He dedicated and anointed it in an exciting ceremony, during which the Ark of the Covenant was brought up from the Tent of David and located in the Holy of Holies, on the Holy Rock of Abraham and Isaac (1 Kings 7:51; 8:12).

On the Temple Mount we could feel that time is short. We knew that the day of the rebuilding of the Temple is soon to come. Gershon Salomon called on the people of Israel to prepare themselves for this great day. He called upon them to stop praying and worshiping in the front of the Western Wall. He said to the people of Israel that G-d can no more accept the prayers outside of His Holy Hill.

He called the leadership of Israel to remove the pagan Muslim enemy and his shrines from the Holy Mountain of G-d, and to do it without delay. This is the call of G-d at this time, and we must answer His call without delay.

From the Temple Mount the Faithful, together with many Israelis and friends from outside of Israel, marched to the ancient City of David. We marched to the historic Pool of Siloam that was re-discovered a year ago. This pool and the accompanying tunnel were dug by King Hezekiah 2,800 years ago. This march renewed an exciting event that was celebrated by our forefathers during the Feast of Succoth, in the time of the First and Second Temple. At that time, thousands of pilgrims marched from the Temple to the Pool of Siloam to draw the Holy Water from the pool, while offering prayers to the G-d of Israel. They then marched back to the Temple to pour out the water on the altar, and to pray for a blessed year with much rain for the crops. This exciting event is described in the historical sources as the most joyful and most exciting event in the lives of the people of Israel:

"All the streets of Jerusalem were lit up with many lights. The High Priest and all the other priests, dressed in their beautiful garments, walked in front of the pilgrims, together with the King of Israel. The priests were followed by the Levities playing on the musical instruments, playing and singing songs. Jerusalem was emptied of people as they joined the marchers and danced all the way from the Temple to the pool."

The Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement renewed this exciting event. The City of David, which again is being settled by Israelis, experienced this joyful and exciting event after being destroyed almost two thousand years ago. The surrounding mountains were once again witnesses to great godly events carried out by the children of Israel. They watched as the G-d of Israel regathered them back to the Holy Land and to Jerusalem, to rebuild His House and His Holy Kingdom.

The traditional ceremony at the Pool of Siloam started when a priest with the Faithful Movement drew the water using vessels that were especially made for use in the soon coming Third Temple. This was then followed by prayers, songs of the psalms and thanks to the G-d of Israel Who gave us the privilege of living in such an exciting generation.

After this joyful ceremony the Faithful marched again to the Temple Mount, carrying the water that was drawn from the pool, just as our forefathers had done. The water was poured on a large group of heavy stones which had been thrown down by the Romans when they destroyed the Temple in 70 CE. This is only a temporary measure; we will do everything we can to make sure that on the next Feast of Tabernacles the water will be poured on the altar in the rebuilt Temple, exactly as our forefathers did.

The Revival of the Holy Assembly of "Hakhel"

One of the most holy events held in the Temple was the "Holy Assembly of Hakhel". This assembly was held every seven years on the Feast of Tabernacles, after the "Smitah" year was finished ("Smitah" is the sabbatical year of the ground, when fields are left fallow every seventh year). It was a very exciting and holy event. Hundreds of thousands pilgrims, along with all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, gathered on the Temple Mount and inside the Temple. They would listen to the High Priest as he read the Commandments of G-d from the book of Deuteronomy, in the Holy Torah.

The event of "Hakhel" was one of the most exciting events during the times the Temple stood. Every one could feel the presence of the G-d of Israel so strongly, just as if G-d Himself was speaking to His beloved people Israel. The desire today of the people of Israel for the rebuilding of the House of G-d is also an expression of desire to once again experience this most exciting godly event.

From its very beginning, the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement decided to renew the events that are connected with the worship in the Temple so that we shall be ready to fulfill all of them when the Temple is rebuilt. The event of "Hakhel" was an important step towards this fulfillment. Because we could not do it this year on the Temple Mount, we held the event in front of the walls of the Temple Mount and the stones of the Temple itself. Our faces were directed to the Holy of Holies as we read the Commandments of Deuteronomy with great excitement. Two thousand years after the destruction of the Temple, the G-d of Israel could hear His People Israel reading His Word, with prayers that came from the bottom of their hearts. These were prayers for the rebuilding of the Temple in our lifetime, and for holding this exciting godly event next year in the right place, in the rebuilt Temple. We would like to present some of the Commandments that were heard at the Holy Hill of G-d on this special event of the Faithful Movement. Hopefully, this will express the godly atmosphere that covered us with love and blessed our hearts:

"You stand this day all of you before the LORD your GOD; your captains of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of Yisra'el, your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger that is in thy camp, from the hewer of thy wood to the drawer of thy water; that thou shouldst enter into the covenant of the LORD thy GOD, and into his oath, which the LORD thy GOD makes with thee this day: that he may establish thee today for a people to himself, and that he may be to thee a GOD, as he has said to thee, and as he has sworn to thy fathers, to Avraham, to Yizhaq, and to Ya'aqov. Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath; but with him that stands here with us this day before the LORD our GOD, and also with him that is not here with us this day" (Deuteronomy 29:9-14)

"Hear, O Yisra'el: The LORD our GOD; the LORD is one. And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thy heart: and thou shalt teach them diligently to thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thy arm, and they shall be as frontlets between thy eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the doorposts of thy house, and on thy gates." (Deuteronomy 6:4-9)

"For if you shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your GOD, to walk in all his ways, and to hold fast to him; then will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and you shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves. Every place whereon the sole of your foot shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness to the Levanon, from the river, the river Perat, to the uttermost sea shall be your border. There shall no man be able to stand against you: for the LORD your GOD shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that you shall tread upon, as he has spoken to you" (Deuteronomy 11:22-25)

"For thou art a holy people to the LORD thy GOD: the LORD thy GOD has chosen thee to be a special people to himself, above all peoples that are upon the face of the earth. The LORD did not set his love upon you, or choose you, because you were more in number than any people; for you were the fewest of all peoples: but because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn to your fathers, has the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Par'o king of Mizrayim. Know therefore that the LORD thy GOD, he is GOD, the faithful GOD, who keeps covenant and troth with those who love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; and repays them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hates him, he will repay him to his face. Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them" (Deuteronomy 7:6-11)

This Word of G-d has a special significance at this time for all the nations in the world that still do not recognize and accept the godly event of the rebirth of Israel in the Land of Israel. These nations do not accept that G-d gave Israel this land by an eternal covenant for an eternal purpose: to be a holy nation, a kingdom of priests and a light to the nations (Exodus 19:5-6). This is the answer to all of those who want to divide the land of Israel and Jerusalem, and to establish a foreign anti-godly so-called "Palestinian State" of terror that will destroy the kingdom of Israel. This is also a lesson to the people of Israel to not trust any nation, power or human being; instead they must trust only in G-d, exactly as He called them to do. He promised to stand and protect them and to give them eternal life.

Israeli negotiations with the Vatican over Temple treasures?

Worldwide interest is growing in the holy issue of the Temple treasures and Jewish manuscripts currently held hostage by the Vatican.

The Vatican has no right to retain the Temple treasures now that the Jewish Homeland has been revived, as prophesied (contrary to accursed replacement theology), and it is incumbent upon the Jews to build the Third Temple in which the Temple treasures can serve their God-ordained and consecrated purpose.

Perhaps Israel must enlist the best Jewish lawyers, with the blessings of God, and sue the Vatican if it insists on being proud and stubborn by resisting the Word and Will of God.

"Render to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's." The pope is playing both God and Caesar and needs to be brought down to Earth like Nebuchadnezzar was, and whose history lesson Belshazzar failed to learn from and lost his kingdom as a consequence. Is Rome's destruction imminent?

The Temple treasures are not the rightful property of the Vatican. For the Vatican to cruelly keep the Temple treasures held hostage in Rome, isn't too Christian. They must be returned to where they belong: Jerusalem.

There are many ways to convey a message and lawyers are not necessarily the sole avenue.

Rome used deadly force to steal and destroy here and we do not advocate that unless of course anyone intends to do that to our people again. That is in relation with foreign murderers. Our own crop is a completely different kettle of fish.

Negotiations with the Vatican is the best way.

The Vatican can be given options they will appreciate to have I am sure.

One of them is of course they keeping Vatican icons in Eretz Israel... if they return to us what they have usurped from our property.

That does not mean necessarily denying access to Christian Pilgrims until such time when what the Vatican holds of ours is returned to us, but rather assuming control over said locations for the duration of the negotiations.

Our problem is not with our Christian friends and co travelers but with the Vatican itself.

That of course requires real JEWISH leadership, not the trash up there now.

WHY DID THEY BUILD THE TEMPLE?

Historical Backround:

Upon the return of the Jews to the Land of Israel after the destruction of the First Temple, the exiles from Babylon went right to work to rebuild the Holy Temple. This was in the year 3390 from Creation. The first returnees found life in the Holy Land quite hard. First of all, only some 42,000 Jews returned home, about 20 percent of Babylonian Jewry at the time. The great majority of Jews, who were business people and scholars from the upper classes, decided that this was definitely not Hashem's wish that the Jews return, so they stayed in the golden medina of Babylon. Secondly, the non-Jewish neighbors in Israel at the time, after being prevented from partaking of the building of the Temple with the Jews, informed the king that the Jews, in building the Temple, were rebelling against him. He immediately sent a stop order and all construction of the new Temple was halted. That king who gave this stop order was, of course, our very own Achashverosh.

So the story of Purim begins to unfold. The Jews of Israel decided to send a delegation to the king to persuade him to let them continue to rebuild the Temple. The non-Jewish neighbors, seeing that the Jews sent a delegation to the king, also decided to send one of their own to the king to persuade him of the dangers of the Jews rebuilding the Temple. Representing the Jews was none other than our own Mordechai HaYehudi, who had returned to Israel from Babylon years before, when permission was first granted to the Jews by King Cyrus of Persia. Representing the non-Jews was none other than our arch-enemy Haman, who was part of the foreign tribes installed in the Holy Land by king Sennacherib of Assyria when he exiled the ten tribes.

The Question:

The question that we must ask at this point is: Why? Why did the Jews go to so much trouble to rebuild the Temple? Not only did they have a very small community at the time, making upkeep of the Temple very difficult, but also, the danger of the non-Jews who lived in the Land at the time and who were threatening to the Jews would seem to make this a matter of "pikuach nefesh" - endangering lives - so that danger should override the rebuilding of the Temple. Anyway, isn't it coming down from Heaven as many rabbis today state, and all we have to do is wait and look up carefully and watch that it won't fall on us on its way to the Temple Mount? Why, then, did they go though all of the trouble to rebuild the Temple, when the community in Israel at the time was so fragile and the majority of the Jews were just not ready for it, anyway?

The answer is so simple but so removed from our conscious that it seems light years away. They went to so much trouble to rebuild the Temple because it is a positive commandment to build a Temple, as the Torah teaches us: "You shall build Me a Sanctuary, that I might dwell within". From here the Rambam derives that the commandment to build a Temple is applicable to every generation, a place where one can offer sacrifices to Hashem.

In this spirit, the Or HaChayim also writes that the commandment to build a Temple was not just incumbent for the generation in the desert, but for every generation. And that is why the Jews who returned to the Land of Israel from the Babylonian exile set out to rebuild the Temple right away. Without excuses, without fanfare, because of its importance and the central role it plays in daily Jewish life.

And so, when Mordechai HaYehudi finally disembarked from his long journey to Shushan from the Land of Israel, imagine his horror to find that in spite of his purpose for being in Shushan - to convince the king to reinstate the construction work for the Temple - he finds, instead, that not only can he not get to the king, but his own fellow Jews were running here and there to partake of the great banquet that king Achashverosh was throwing. And just what was the good king celebrating? That the Temple was not rebuilt, and the Redemption of the Jewish people was not fulfilled, as the prophet Jeremiah had prophesied that the Jews would return to their own Land after 70 years.

Hashem, Master of history, had other plans for his people, though, and if they did not want to come home and rebuild His House, then He had many messengers at His disposal to help us along, as in the unfolding story of Purim, with Haman and his evil decree.

Today, too, the Land is awaiting its sons to return and to rebuild Hashem's House. If we don't move along with His program, then the Master of history will know how to bring it about one way or another. That is what is happening today in our still-unfolding story of Purim. Do we dare make the wrong choice and miss the boat?

G-d doesn't listen to Jewish prayers at the Western Wall

Gershon Salomon and the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement is calling on the chief rabbis and the government of Israel to end the prayers of the Israeli people at the Western Wall. The time of prayers and worship at the Western Wall is over! The G-d of Israel is upset by His people who worship Him outside of His holy mountain and He expects us to go up to the Temple Mount and worship Him there. He is not listening to nor accepts such prayers while we allow the Muslim enemy of the G-d and the people of Israel to continue their foreign pagan worship and desecration. The presence of the Muslim shrines on His holy mountain brings shame to His holy name. The prayers at the "Wailing Wall" belong to the time of destruction and exile when the people of Israel were exiled from their most holy mountain and were not allowed to go up to the mountain of G-d. It symbolized a time of darkness in the history of Israel. That time is over. Israel is now in the time of godly redemption. G-d returned His holy mountain to Israel and expects His people to build His house there.

Like the prophet Haggai, Gershon is calling his people Israel:

"Thus speaks the Lord of hosts, saying, This people say that the time has not yet come, the time that the Lord’s house should be built. Is it time for you, yourselves, to dwell in your well timbered houses, while this house lies in ruins? You drink, but you are not satisfied; you dress yourself, but there is no warm; and he who earns wages earns wages to put it into a bag with holes. Thus says the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways. Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, says the Lord. You looked for much, and, behold, it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why? says the Lord of hosts. Because of my that lies in ruins, and everyone of you runs to his own house." (Haggai 1:2,4,7-9)

Gershon warned Israel and its leadership that as long as the shameful situation on the Temple Mount continues, and as long as they do not obey the call of G-d, peace will not come to the land. The enemies of Israel will continue to desire her land and will pressure those in power to divide it. Obedience to the call of G-d will bring peace, all of Israel’s enemies will be removed and no one will wish to divide or desire the land. Then, Israel will dwell in the Promised Land among the boundaries that G-d promised to Abraham in an eternal covenant, and all the nations will respect and love Israel and the following prophetic Word of G-d will come to pass:

"It shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow to it. And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths; for Torah shall go forth from Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. And he shall judge between many peoples, and shall decide concerning far away strong nations; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, nor shall they learn war any more. But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid; for the mouth of the Lord of hosts has spoken it." (Micah 4: 1-4) «

Troubles upon the Temple Mount

Israel should say enough is enough, and the rabbis in Israel ought to be leading the Jewish people in protests that their religious rights (as well as those of Christians) are trampled upon the Temple Mount by the Nazi-Muslims and DEMAND Jewish prayer and worship upon the Temple Mount be guaranteed NOW -- just as the 1967 Law for the Protection of the Holy Places requires.

It's past time Israel REMOVE THE THREAT and protect Christian and Jewish pilgrims, securing their freedom of access.

June 27, 1967

1. The Holy Places shall be protected from desecration and any other violation and from anything likely to violate the freedom of access of the members of the different religions to the places sacred to them or their feelings with regard to those places.

2. a. Whosoever desecrates or otherwise violates a Holy Place shall be liable to imprisonment for a term of seven years.

b. Whosoever does anything likely to violate the freedom of access of the members of the different religions to the places sacred to them or their feelings with regard to those places shall be liable to imprisonment for a term of five years.

3. This Law shall add to, and not derogate from, any other law.

4. The Minister of Religious Affairs is charged with the implementation of this Law, and he may, after consultation with, or upon the proposal of, representatives of the religions concerned and with the consent of the Minister of Justice make regulations as to any matter relating to such implementation.

5. This Law shall come into force on the date of its adoption by the Knesset.

Archeologist: Ancient cistern proves location of Second Temple

An Israeli archeologist said Wednesday that he has pinpointed the exact location of the Second Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount.

The site identified by Hebrew University archeologist Prof. Joseph Patrich, based on the study of a large underground cistern on the Temple Mount and passages from the Mishna, places the Temple and its corresponding courtyards, chambers and gates in a more southeasterly and diagonal frame of reference compared to previous studies.

Patrich based his research, which is about to be published, on a study of a large underground cistern on the Temple Mount that was mapped by British engineer Sir Charles Wilson in 1866 on behalf of the Palestine Exploration Fund, along with passages from the Mishna.

The giant cistern, 4.5 meters wide and 54 meters long, lay near the southeastern corner of the upper platform of the Temple Mount. Examining the location and configuration of the cistern together with descriptions of the daily rite in the Temple and its surroundings found in the Mishna, Patrich said that this cistern is the only one found on the Temple Mount that can tie in with the ancient rabbinic text describing elements involved in the daily purification and sacrificial duties carried out by the priests on the altar in the Temple courtyard.

On this basis, he says, one can reconstruct the placement of a large basin that was used by the priests for their ritual washing, with the water being drawn by a waterwheel mechanism from the cistern.

After this purification, the priests ascended the nearby ramp to the sacrificial altar.

By thus locating the laver, the water wheel, the ramp and the altar, one can then finally map, again in coordination with the Mishna, the alignment of the Temple itself and its gates and chambers, he said.

These considerations led Patrich to place the Second Temple further to the east and south than earlier thought, and at a southeasterly angle relative to the eastern wall of the Temple Mount, and not perpendicular to it, as earlier assumed.

Patrich said that his research indicates that the rock over which the Dome of the Rock was built in the 7th century CE is actually outside the confines of the Temple.

The rock is believed to be the place at which the binding of Isaac took place, while Muslims consider it to be the spot from which Muhammad ascended to heaven.

The Temple Mount is Judaism's holiest site as the ancient compound where the two Jewish Temples stood, and is Islam's third holiest site after Mecca and Medina.

G-d Appeared to Gershon in the Field of Battle and Anointed Him to Build the Temple

Since 1948, Israel has been attacked seven times by her Arab enemies. Seven times, 300 million Arabs with the backing of a billion and a half Muslims and many nations were defeated by the small Israeli nation and her small
army. How could this happen? The answer is very clear. As in the biblical times and in the time of Gideon, the G–d of Israel became the General and the Commander of the Israeli Army and fought together with them in all the fields of battle: "Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle" (Zechariah 14: 3). There are many stories among Israeli soldiers who have felt the presence of G-d and His angels among them in battle and many enemies have seen angels fighting with the Israeli forces.

I had the privilege to experience the appearance of the G–d of Israel and His angels in one of the critical battles of Israel when I served in the Israeli Army as a young officer and my small unit was attacked by thousands of Syrian Arab soldiers. I was wounded terribly in this battle and G-d appeared, saved my life and defeated the enemy. It was at this time that G-d called and anointed me to build His holy Temple in Jerusalem. This is the first time that I am sharing this event with you in this magazine and I am doing so because I feel that everyone should know that the G–d of Israel, the Creator of the universe, is with His people Israel, fighting and protecting them. The enemy has no chance of destroying Israel and G-d is determined to bring to pass the redemption of Israel and the world.

Since I was a small child, I heard the call again and again in my heart to rebuild the Temple of G–d on Mount Moriah in Jerusalem. My heart could not rest and my desire was to renew the biblical times of my people Israel. I used to often go, especially on Tisha b’Av, to the tomb of King David on Mount Zion. My mother told me many times that our family was descended from King David. He was my favorite biblical character and I often went to his tomb to pray and hug it. From the roof of the Tomb of David, I could see the Temple Mount which in those days was under Jordanian control in the divided city of Jerusalem. I used to sit there for hours watching the holy hill of G–d and praying that G–d would send me to liberate His holy hill and to rebuild His holy Temple. I felt the presence of G–d in my heart and I knew that one day He would answer my prayers. My father once shared an exciting story with me that when he was a child he once disappeared for a few days. His parents looked for him everywhere in Jerusalem. At last, they found him in the house attic, building a beautiful model of
the Temple. This and what my mother always told me gave me a deep feeling that G–d formed me in the womb for this mission. I knew that one day G–d would create the circumstances to fulfill this mission.

As a young man, I served in the Israeli Army of G–d as an officer in a commander unit of paratroopers. One day I was sent with my unit to the northern boundaries of Israel with Syria in the Golan Heights which at that time was still controlled by the Syrians. The Golan Heights are a part of Eretz Israel that was given by G-d to the tribe of Manessah. Our mission was to protect the Israeli villages and kibbutzim there and to liberate this land which the
Syrians took from Israel in the War of 1948. We were attacked every day but G-d fought with us and protected us. Three days before I completed my mission, an event happened that changed my life. It was a rainy day and we were prevented from completing our work. I prayed all that morning to G–d to stop the rain so that we could do our work. G–d answered my prayers and the rain stopped. Suddenly when we went out, we found ourselves
surrounded and ambushed by many thousands of Syrian soldiers who were shooting at us from the mountains. It was impossible to protect ourselves from their fire as we were down in a valley and they could see our every move.We were greatly outnumbered and it took eight hours to defeat the enemy. The best soldier in the world was among us; the G-d of Hosts helped us defeat all those many enemies.

Close to the end of this long battle, I was wounded severely when a tank drove over my body. I had gone to save the life of one of my soldiers that was wounded terribly. I layed in the battlefield more dead than alive and lost consciousness. Then, G–d gave back my consciousness for only a few minutes. A group of Syrian soldiers,
seeing me lying dead (as they believed), dared to come from the mountains to shoot my “dead” body again. They surrounded me in a circle from all sides and were ready to shoot me. It was during these few moments that G–d gave me back my consciousness. I could see them directing their guns at me ready to shoot with joy on their faces. At that moment I said the "Shema Israel" as every Jew says when he is going to return his soul to G-d. G-d appeared so close to my heart and body, and and I heard Him speaking to my heart saying: "I am not finished with you." "You will build My house on my holy hill to where you used to watch when you were a kid." I was paralyzed when He told me “Let your hands be strong, you are not alone in the battlefield, I am with you.” It was night but I could see a light covering me from all sides and lighting the dark night. At the same moment, I could see the Syrian soldiers not shooting me but turning and running very fast back to the mountains. I again lost consciousness. I was told later that the Israeli soldiers looking for me in the darkness were only successful in locating me when they saw the light.

After days of coma and very complicated surgeries, I opened my eyes and regained consciousness in the hospital The doctors declared: "You are a miracle." I could only answer by moving my lips saying: "I know, G–d promised me." My battle to recover continued for one year with terrible pain. It was a great fight against the "angel of death." Together with G–d, I won the battle.

The most exciting event of that year happened when the Dutch observers of the United Nations came to visit me. They told me, "We feel the need to share with you something which will change your life and give you the strength to overcome your terrible wounds." They told me that they had made an investigation of the battle in order to report it to the United Nations. In their research, they interviewed the Syrian officers that commanded the battle against my unit. They asked the Syrians why they had not killed the young Israeli officer when they had the opportunity while he lay terribly wounded on the field of battle. They answered: "We wanted so much to do so, but when we were ready to shoot him we saw thousands of angels surrounding him from all sides and covering him. We became very scared and we knew that G–d wanted this Israeli officer to live. He would not allow us to kill him. We immediately turned back and ran as fast as we could to the mountains with His angels after us."

After one year in the hospital, I rejoined my unit, still walking with two crutches. It was during the Six Day War in 1967 when the Arab countries attacked Israel from all sides. On the third day of the war, after a heavy battle, Israeli paratroopers entered biblical Jerusalem through the Eastern Gate and went immediately to the Temple
Mount through the Tribes Gate. It is not an accident that the Israeli forces entered the Old City of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount through the Eastern Gates because old tradition tells us that the Mashiach will come through the Eastern Gate to the Temple Mount. When we stood in front of the Holy of Holies on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem tears of joy and excitement filled our eyes and again, I heard the call of G–d: "For this moment and most holy place I saved your life. Build My house so I will again dwell among My people Israel and among all my creation." This was the moment I had prepared myself for all of my life. We felt the presence of G-d so strongly amongst us. We felt like we were in heaven in front of the Throne of the Holy One of Israel, the King of Kings, the G–d of our forefathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. When we heard General Mota Gur stating: "The Temple Mount is again in our hands", life stopped in the streets of Israel and in the battlefields. Israelis cried together with the soldiers because of the great joy and excitement. A hundred generations of destruction and exile were over! In six days, the General and Commander of the Israeli Army together with His soldiers had defeated all of the Arab forces.

We walked with great excitement from place to place on the Temple Mount looking at the remains of the holy Temple. Suddenly a civilian appeared and presented himself as a tour guide. He was not dressed as an Arab and did not speak Arabic, but English. He asked us to allow him to guide us on the Temple Mount. When we asked him why he wanted to do this he told us that G-d sent him to show us the location of the Jewish Temple and to tell us that the G-d of Israel had returned the Temple Mount to His children Israel. He took us to the Dome of the Rock, showed us the rock, and said that this is the location of the Holy of Holies. Then he took us to the Eastern Gate and said, the Messiah, the seed of David, will come from here. He said that even in the "Koran"
it is written that G-d will redeem His chosen people Israel and will return them to their place on the Temple Mount. He said: "You can see with your own eyes that the time has come and I am sure that Israel will soon rebuild the Temple." While we walked from place to place, he suddenly disappeared and we did not see him any
more. He was no longer on the Temple Mount. Each of us was sure that he was an angel sent by the G–d of Israel to share with us and all the people of Israel the godly significance of this godly moment. He appeared as a human being as in the biblical times but we were so sure that he was an angel of G-d. It seemed like a dream but we were awake and we knew it was reality. The holy Tanach was opened at this exciting moment and the Word of G-d was prayed and heard all over the Temple Mount: "A Song of Maalot. When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like men who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing; then they said among the nations, The Lord has done great things for us and we are glad"(Psalm 126).

As a child I was told that in the heavens, above the Temple Mount, there is a gate from where in the biblical times G-d reflected His glory and spoke His Word to His children Israel. After the destruction of the Second Temple this gate was closed and will be reopened when the end-time Temple is built. I lifted my eyes to heaven and could see that the sky was glorified by the Spirit of G-d. I was sure that He was crying like us with joy. Then I could see written like with letters of fire, the Word of G-d to His prophets Isaiah and Micah to our generation: "But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow to it. And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths; for Torah shall go from Jerusalem. And he shall judge between many peoples, and shall decide concerning far away strong nations; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up, nor shall they learn war any more. But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid; for the mouth of the Lord of hosts has spoken it"(Micah 4: 1-4 and Isaiah 2: 1-4).

These godly moments are the highlights of my life. When I stood in front of the Holy of Holies, I swore before the G–d of Israel that I would not be silent or rest until the Temple of G–d is rebuilt. I dedicated my entire life to G-d and for this most holy cause. At this exciting moment, we could hear Mashiach ben David, the Messenger of the G–d of Israel, knocking on the Eastern Gate of the Temple Mount calling to Israel: "Open the gate. I am here." However, the Israeli leadership did not listen to this call. Twelve hours later in a moment of terrible weakness the Defense Minister of Israel, General Moshe Dyan, took down the Israeli flag from the top of the Dome of the Rock and gave the Arabs back the keys to the Temple Mount. It was a terrible sinful act resulting from spiritual weakness. He was afraid that if he removed the mosques and rebuilt the Temple, as G-d expected Israel to do when He returned His holy Temple Mount to them one and a half billion Muslims would come against Israel to destroy her. He did not listen to the call or trust the promises of the G–d to Israel.

When this happened, I knew what my task was and immediately called Israelis who were faithful to the G–d of Israel and formed the Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement. For 39 years, we have been carrying the following call of G–d to His people Israel and to all the world: "Thus speaks the Lord of hosts, saying, This people say that the time has not yet come, the time that the Lord’s house should be built. Is it time for you, yourselves, to dwell in your well-timbered houses, while this house lies in ruins? Thus says the Lord of hosts; "Consider your ways. Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, says the Lord" (Haggai 1: 2, 4, 7-8).

Day and night, we carry this message to Israel and to the world. We feel His blessings, encouragement and presence in our holy work. There is a great awakening in Israel and many wonderful people from all over the world have joined us in this work.We know that we soon shall stand together with all our Faithful friends from Israel and all over the world in His rebuilt house and we shall give Him thanks for the great privilege that He has given us to be builders of the house of G–d and to open the Eastern Gate of the Temple Mount for Mashiach ben David sent by the G-d of Israel to lead His chosen people Israel and all the world in righteousness.

Is there strong indication in the Bible that Israel will have a change of heart and accept Yeshua because of the preaching of two prophets in Jerusalem, the Two Witnesses announced in Zechariah 4 and Revelation 11? Will the Jews grasp Jesus is the Anointed One, the Lamb and Lion of God, and finally convert?

Yes! There is definite proof of such as Yeshua clearly said He wouldn't return to Jerusalem, Judah or the Jews until they have a change of heart and welcome Him. The Two Witnesses, in the power and spirit of Elijah (who is dead and buried and awaits the First Resurrection), will prepare the way by preparing our people to receive our King!

Matthew 23:39

39 for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, 'Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!'

Zechariah the prophet foresees such a long-awaited repentance and recognition! The Jews in Jerusalem will perceive that the Pierced One is the Firstborn of Judah and the Firstborn of God -- our King Messiah!

Zechariah 12:10-15

10 "And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. 11 In that day there shall be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning at Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. 12 And the land shall mourn, every family by itself: the family of the house of David [political establishment] by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of the house of Nathan by itself, and their wives by themselves; 13 the family of the house of Levi [religious establishment] by itself, and their wives by themselves; the family of Shimei by itself, and their wives by themselves; 14 all the families that remain, every family by itself, and their wives by themselves.

Yeshua, first and foremost, is the King of the Jews, the King of Israel (all Twelve Tribes of Israel). Yeshua is coming back specifically to keep alive God's physical promise to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and our Israelite forefathers who left Egypt: the iron-clad promise that the Fathers will always have some survivors, some physical remnant, beyond any shadow of a doubt.

The cities of Judah will hear this message loud and clear:

22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.

Romans 11:28

28 Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers.

Leviticus 26:44-45

44 Yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, nor shall I abhor them, to utterly destroy them and break My covenant with them; for I am the LORD their God.

45 But for their sake I will remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.

We are the physical elect, the physical Chosen People -- primarily the British-Israelites and Jews, Joseph and Judah -- for whose sakes' those days will be cut short by divine intervention or we would all be history and Satan could say God is a liar. But God's Word is good and true and He will prepare our people by a baptism of repentance by the Two Witnesses, speaking to our captive audience from Jerusalem (having been conquered by the German-Jesuit EU), giving us the GOOD NEWS that our personal lord and NATIONAL SAVIOR, our NATIONAL DELIVERER, is coming soon to save us.
