Kahane Lives: MK Ben-Ari Urges Memorializing Kahane

(IsraelNN.com) National Union Knesset Member Dr. Ben-Ari is urging Israeli mayors and regional council leaders memorialize Rabbi Meir Kahane on November 15, the Hebrew date when he was murdered in New York 19 years ago.

Rabbi Kahane, the New York-born founder of the now illegal Kach movement, was murdered by an Egyptian-born American in New York in 1990 after a speech in which he warned American Jews to move to Israel before it was “too late” to escape a second Holocaust.”

He founded the Jewish Defense League (JDL) in New York, which attracted Jews to fight anti-Semitic attacks, and he was the founder of the Kach movement. He was elected to the Knesset after making Aliyah [moving to Israel], but the legislature banned the party from the legislature in 1988 and outlawed it six years later.

MK Ben-Ari reminded Israel leaders that the JDL encouraged Jews to stand up for their rights and defeat anti-Semitism. Rabbi Kahane also was active in the struggle to open the gates for ‘Refuseniks,” Jews in the former Soviet Union, during the era of prohibitions to observe Jewish laws and leave the country for Israel.

“The State of Israel memorializes political leaders from a wide spectrum” and should include Rabbi Kahane, who “acted for the good of the people and the country,” MK Ben-Ari stated.

I offer credit where credit is due to Meir Kahane within Beyond Babylon: Europe's Rise and Fall. If Israel had only listened to him calling upon them to remember the law of Moses and implement it as the solution to all their troubles (Malachi 4:4), especially the necessary removal of their sworn enemies, many innocent Jewish men, women, children and babies in strollers could have been spared.

THEY MUST GO
It is imperative that there begins, today, a campaign among world Jewry to explain the full extent of the Arab hatred and danger. The complete truth must be told to the masses of good Jews both to justify the need to remove the Arabs and to expose the dangers of the liberal Establishment bloc.

Thoughts on Meir Kahane...
The idea that Jew-hatred was the problem of the Jew-hater and that it was the job of the Jew to "educate" the Jew-hater not to manifest that hatred - expressed in the following Talmudic dictum "he who raises his hand to bless you, bless him first; he who raises his hand to kill you, kill him first" - was truly liberating for me, who had always been taught that "good Jewish boys don't fight".

Israel's Only Way Out: Follow Kahane!
Israel must make concessions, Israel must do this, Israel must do that, while the Arabs continue to get away with mass murder and terrorism (while promising peace and feigning ignorance), aided and abetted by the international community...

Rabbi Meir Kahane Remembered in Jerusalem

(IsraelNN.com) Hundreds of people participated in a memorial ceremony and study day in memory of Rabbi Meir Kahane in Jerusalem Tuesday, marking the 17th anniversary of the fiery rabbi and political leader's death at the hands of an Arab assassin...
****************
"They hate the Sabbath and they hate the laws of Judaism and they hate the yeshivas and they hate the rabbis. And they hate being Jewish and they hate God and they hate Zionism and a Jewish state and the need to be different - and they hate Kahane for representing all this. And they hate the bitter reality of hundreds of thousands supporting and marching for and believing in all the things that they hate, and so they are prepared to use any and all means to destroy the Jews and Jewishness. And the most frightening and dangerous thing is that, in all this ugliness, I have seen and recognized the face of Hatred and Murder Past." - Rabbi Meir Kahane

"Is Israel really a Jewish State? Or a Gentilized state of Jews? There is a difference! Are we left to our own devices, our personal preferences, the "Church or synagogue of your choice" mentality? Or does God have something to say to us also?

Meir Kahane, former Israeli Parliament member, rabbi and author of Uncomfortable Questions for Comfortable Jews, was to the Jewish establishment what Herbert W. Armstrong was to traditional Christianity: an irritating “prophet” who spoke the plain truth!

If Israel had only listened to Meir Kahane they wouldn't be staring death in the face today (Dan. 9:11). I was living at Kibbutz Shoval in Israel’s Negev desert, beautifying the grounds, when I heard that he had been murdered in New York by another Arab terrorist. When his funeral took place in Jerusalem, I was honored to attend with tens of thousands of others to show solidarity with what he boldly taught— and as a blond, stood out in the Black Sea of Haredim on TV."
